    Right. But I can see a single choke point being the main battle area and/or a ganker and sniper paradise. Keep the bridges and gates destroyed and you know exactly where everyone will try to enter your territory. No one really knows how it will play out so we shall see I guess.

    Lunar Quay goat bridge is going to become the new Alesia bridge. Ironic that a heavily-fortified masonry bridge that can now be demolished with siege is being replaced by a very ramshackle wooden bridge that can't be demolished with siege.

    Well to be fair, 4+ years of sieging a bridge has now weakened its structural integrity, its bound to collapse at any moment
    Yes, the amount of ordnance trown on it out mass it significantly.
    An nice place to use CC and knockback.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Patch note spoiler...since this has come up several times in several different threads...Niben River has been widened in various locations and the shore lines adjusted so there are no ways out of the river. Also Slaughterfish damage has been doubled in Cyrodiil.

    I don't know how people can say the devs don't care about Cyrodiil when y'all are bringing your A game like this. Though I will miss that horse jump to avoid the gankers/zergers topside!

    I suspect that in practice we won't truly see 100% bridge and milegate downtime. That's way too much effort for most. We'll also have to see if they can be repaired while under fire. I suspect they can't, but you never know.

    Patch note spoiler...since this has come up several times in several different threads...Niben River has been widened in various locations and the shore lines adjusted so there are no ways out of the river. Also Slaughterfish damage has been doubled in Cyrodiil.

    Maybe you should add some slaughtersquirrels for the areas by milegates where there is no river. Just to be fair!

    Last time i checked one could still glitch through slaughterfish infested waters in Cyrodiil, simply widening the river won't make a difference and neither will adding rocks to the shoreline.

    Well I hope there is a server upgrade planned along with the DLC. A few hundred plyers plus 24/24 siege each alliance on one tiny area ('Goat' path) is likely to put huge stress on the servers - bridge fights are laggy as hell already.

    But you've already though of the performance consequences and have suitable plans in place.....right?

    Are the new repair kits for bridges free? If not that is a raw deal having bridge repair not give ap.
    It is hard enough to get some players to even buy siege.

    @ZOS_BrianWheeler this just sounds like a stupid idea to be honest and it sounds like it promotes grouping up on a single faction instead of fighting evenly. why waste the repair kits on a destroyed bridge if you get nothing out of it. itll promote full on attacking of one faction. sounds like yall are making a new problem to solve an old one instead of bringing something new to the table entirely.

    You do not get AP for repairing bridges or milegates.

    So will they self-repair after time? Seems silly. The only reason you would ever repair one then is either because it's free, or because it gives your team a strategic advantage, and if it costs anything, we all know most players aren't going to do that.

    TBH, nice idea, but doesn't seem very well thought through.

    Just addressing the issue of Bridges destroyed force you to go around other ways. But if it's milegates that just get destroyed and you can walk right through... it's a bit odd in a balance type way.

    ok then you can take this as a delayed bridge removal decision cuz im pretty sure nobody will spend tons of gold and even more loads of AP to repair a bridge+ time to repair it while others will just break it down in a few seconds :V

    Feel bad for daggerfall though, think they just got open has the main target for both AD and EP, given don't think they have has many critical bridges in that side of the map more gates though that are crtical
