Oh boy, So ESO is laying the blame on Amazon. So Amazon just pulled my key out of thin air eh? Up until today I was a huge fan of this game. That is why I wanted the stupid box. Were all our keys the same?

ZOS is saying that Amazon sold more copies than they were allotted. Amazon says they sold the amount ZOS allotted them, and then ZOS failed to deliver.
ZOS isn't aware of how many copies Amazon sold, so if it is Amazon at fault they couldn't do anything to fix it. And obviously if ZOS is at fault Amazon couldn't do anything because they don't control how many copies get produced.
That sound about right?
I'm in the same situation, and like most of us, all I'm asking is for a key that would allow me to play the game until I get the physical copy. Personally, I can wait for the statue and the maps and the rest. I have no intentions to cancel my order, and I hate the fact that I was forced to approve the delay of the delivery. We shouldn't be punished this much.

If we can prove digital receipts from FutureShop/ Amazon we should be allowed grace time.

Amazon has acknowledged this issue, and the company has said that if customers do not receive their Imperial Edition today, Amazon will contact them with a “make good” offer.
Players who were eligible for Early Access can still play without a game activation code from a physical box until Sunday morning at 8 a.m. EDT.
We are continuing to investigate.
