We wanted to step back in to let everyone know we're still working on this matter.
For those of you getting your physical Imperial Editions later than today, all Early Access customers will be granted an extended grace period until Sunday at 8AM EDT/12PM GMT before they are required to transition their account to live. This will cover online retail customers who didn’t get their boxes shipped in time (and also give digital customers more Early Access time).
Cant you cancel your pre order and just buy at the TESTO shop? The Amazon price is the same, so you don't lose anything.
I know having a box can be fun, but a key at least lets you play
Hello,
I understand your concern and I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused due to the unexpected delay in obtaining "The Elder Scrolls Online: Imperial Edition" .
I can completely understand how frustrating and annoying the situation can be when something like this happens but believe us it was never our intention. We try our level best to provide convenient and stress free shopping to our customers but in this case we haven't met the standard.
We normally obtain this item from a supplier who can usually send it to us by the release date; however, in this case, the manufacturer has confirmed that the item will be delayed due to high demand.
Unfortunately, our reliance on suppliers and manufacturers for information about the availability means that occasionally our database will not reflect all changes.
Due to high demand and limited initial inventory, "The Elder Scrolls Online: Imperial Edition" orders may not be available on release day and are not eligible for Release-Date Delivery. As copies become available, they will ship based on "place in line"—the order in which they were purchased.
I see that the website still lists the Release-Day delivery as April 4, 2014.
We do really appreciate knowing about any errors which find their way into our catalog. I'll notify our catalog team about this and will ask them to correct the error.
We'll send you an e-mail when your order is shipped with your tracking number.
You can always check the status of your order in Your Account. Here's a direct link to the order details:

I only see the option to buy the standard digital edition or the Imperial edition in the ZOS shop.
I'd also suggest you read the thread before posting, as there's also concerns about losing early access items and perks, so many people who would gladly purchase from ZOS are waiting for some comment on that issue first.

So Amazon is trying to bump this off on ZeniMax by saying that ZeniMax oversold Amazon? Welp, once this clears up I'll not be using one of these companies anymore.

You are blaming the wrong people. Zen is the ones that over sold and under produced. Online vendors can only rely on what the distributor claims and actually does.
