And they've never got one red cent from me.

Lemme guess, you were bent over the SWG NGE thing too?
Most people were, not understanding that SOE basically did that at gunpoint.
LucasArts called the shots on SWG and you either did what they wanted you to or you lost licensing. Just like every other product.

They say it was planned. Was it a Donkey that did the planning?
I wonder if you EU people also realize that your servers were up all day yesterday while US was down for about 14 hours. Please stop crying about a 3-4 hour downtime.

13:00 BST during the week is great for me, thank you. That's all that matters
09:00 BST on a Sunday seems a little suicidal. You may want to work on that one

Also, Sunday Morning downtime during EU mornings... I would like to know who thought this would be a good idea. Have you even looked at other MMO's (such as WOW) and at what times there the most players are online? Guess what, it's not Monday mornings. Just saying.
Also, regarding the US players calling us whiners etc. It is untrue that US players make up the majority of PAYING subsribers, and what is the point of having two different servers if the maintenance is still not planned according to the players needs? Without us these poor IT workers would not have a job in the first place (and you don't hear me crying when I have to work at Thanksgiving).

I've absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

It's morning in Australia.
I fail to see how Austraila is getting screwed with this downtime.

Most of the haters of SOE are pissed over what happened to Star Wars Galaxies and the NGE.

everyone is down right now....so can EVERYONE stop trying to drive this stake between two continents?
eq2imora_ESO wrote: »"Prime time" is evenings between 5 and 9 pm.
They're not taking it down in prime time.
10 am on a Sunday is not prime time.
Could we have an answer to this please? The bottom line for me is, I am simply not going to sign up to your game if you will be taking it down on Sundays as that, like a lot of people here, is my game day.
What I have seen of the game so far is great, and I do understand that sometimes emergency outages are needed, especially when a game is brand new, but to PLAN outages for Sunday morning. I am afraid this really leads me to believe Zenimax do not know the market and what the customers want. Maybe if this was F2P I'd have to tolerate it, but it's a premium AAA sub game. And, BTW, I do support the sub, but only if the quality is there, and I am afraid a planned weekly outage, slap bang in the middle of primetime for the EU, is not quality service.
So please let's get a response here.
