They should arrive on PTS sometime soon – and be included in the final Live release of the Wolfhunter DLC pack.
- First, we’ve noticed that some players will leave Blacksmithing resources alone in their search for more Jewelry Crafting materials – which can result, in the long run, in a zone having too few Jewelry Crafting Seams for players to find. To help alleviate this, in an upcoming PTS patch, we’ll be adding a small amount of Jewelry Crafting raw material to some (but not all) Blacksmithing ore nodes. Not only will this encourage players to harvest both Blacksmithing and Jewelry Crafting resources, it will also result in more Jewelry Crafting Dust being mined overall (as we are not affecting the yield of existing Jewelry Crafting Seams at all).
- Second – and this is the big one – in an upcoming PTS patch, we’ll be significantly reducing the number of Platings it takes to upgrade a piece of Jewelry. At maximum rank in Platings Expertise, it will take you only a single Terne Plating to upgrade a ring from White to Green, and it will take only 4 Chromium Platings to upgrade a ring from Purple to Gold – both of which are half of what it takes currently on Live.
This will be a good change. But why was this not addressed when we brought this issue up during the Summerset PTS? You could've nipped this thing in the bud if you had just listened to our feedback months ago.

Or what is more likely, people will just take the dust and leave the ore, just like the worms in the alchemy plants.

And the rest of the mats in craglorn nodes when they take the Nirncrux.
Sad but true state of things.
We need partially looted nodes to despawn after 10-30 seconds after they are only partially looted, and chests too, so we can have new full ones spawn when the bots and picky players go through the rest of us can actually get some worthwhile stuff.

@ZOS_GinaBruno
This is just another reason on a long list of why my game time and spending has declined in ESO to next to nothing.
Instead of making gradual changes to achieve a better result, you seem to make drastic changes that negatively impact players experiences and leave people wondering wtf jsut happened.
Wit vouchers were worth a certain Gold rate based on the original legendary writs in the game. Instead of copying the existing format of these vouchers by introducing a new craft line just like all the other craft lines, for some reason, you split the tempers into grains for no reason.
Over all the continued heated feedback of this incompetent change, that was disregarded before, this is the fix that you see as best?. If it is, your on the wrong track.
Firstly there was no reason to make a more complicated and different system than all the other crafting lines. Your causing more work for yourself that you do not need as ZOS can barely keep on top of the bugs, exploits and glitches that are rampant in ESO.
Secondly buffing the vouchers worth to ~500 per legendary writ has now negatively impacted all the other craft lines by the rewards there. It is no longer scale-able as there are different systems, one containing grains and one not, so good luck on making it 'fair' and rewarding.
Thirdly since you over buffed provisioning and jewellery now, they are the only writs i will be doing so you cut down my playtime again. There is no logic to doing the other writs as the rewards and cost per voucher is brain dead.
Played for ~3 years and have a strong account with ~170 days played on just one character. This is my basis for feedback but simply put, this is another nail into the coffin for ESO for me, which is a shame really.
Even with the changes JC master writs will be the worse gold to voucher ratio out of all the equipment crafts. We will still need OVER 5x the materials to complete. And the voucher rewards are only being improved 4x(at least from what I've seen on pts). You seem to be looking at the high vouchers but ignoring the high cost to do them. And the prices will remain high even once stabilized.
If you really think JC masters will be so great and you are on PCNA, I will gladly trade you JC master writs for your BS/WW/Cloth/Leather master writs on a 1 to 1 voucher value exchange. I will be making out like a bandit on this.

Yes, but once the node is touched, it will despawn in a few minutes. If no one touches the node, it will never despawn. Even if someone just takes the dust, that node will despawn, allowing a new node to appear. That new node could be a jewelry node.
