    Giving Cold damage Engulfing flames pretty much. Doubt it will make a difference in the meta but could work in PvP.

    I didnt even think about m sets.

    So how about max stam 1.5k

    Any arrow has 10% chance to explode with poisiin damage and snare 70% aoe of 5 meters. For 7 seconds
    Maybe a little cd
    Might be a little much but its a starting point on a premise of snare on monster set.

    Someone earlier wrote "Novielty Sets" I love this idea. Instead of the many useless sets that are around. How about some USEFUL useless sets? Instead of sets like Magicka Furnace, Treasure Hunter, Spelunker, Oblivions Foe, Sithis' Touch. Make some useful sets, like

    Blessing of Hermaeus Mora
    (2) [x] bonus XP gained
    (3) [x] bonus gold gained

    I'm just going to list some 5th piece set bonus's that I would like to see. Someone else can figure out the other stuff.

    Argonian Chaser:
    5th set bonus: Allows player to swim as fast as Argonians

    Gold Sniffer:
    5th set bonus: Casts a glow around nearby treasure chests to make them easier to spot

    Stink 'N Steal:
    5th set bonus: Causes NPCs to move away from you even when stealthed. "What's that smell?"

    Bard's Bane:

    5th set bonus: I don't care how this is achieved, but I sure would like to make them shut up sometimes

    Forgiveness Set:
    5th set bonus: Can steal one item or inflict a non-lethal wound without getting a bounty or being attacked every 60 seconds

    So mostly QOL stuff. Shouldn't be any epic balance issues from any of this.

    (5 items) When enemies die within 10 meters, you generate a charge and heal for 339 health for each enemy killed. When you reach 10 charges, your soul becomes corrupt and explodes dealing 12366 magic damage to all enemies within 5 meters.

    Doppelganger Set

    (2 items) add 1500 physical penetration

    (5 items) 20% chance when using an ability to summon a doppelganger that copies abilities used for 5 seconds. Abilities you use, deal the same damage as you, as well as applying and stacking any other effects an ability has, but that ability costs an extra 50% of the original cost. Cannot copy ultimates.

    Yea, snares be out of control in pvp. Don't know why you mind it on a stam toon though. You have a skill that allows you to drop them and gives durational immunity while still letting you attack.

    There are two skills:

    1) Shuffle which costs 4k stamina and lasts at most 3.5 seconds.

    2) Forward Momentum: which then removes your only burst heal.

    Shuffle is way too expensive for such a miniscule duration, and Rally makes it very difficult to recover from burst.

    I would love to have an item set that would allow me to not have to use FM or Shuffle for snare immunity. Magicka needs snare immunity the least since you don't need to be within 5 meters to dish out damage.

    I would stop doing the best sets only fire damage and introduce new competitive set for ice and shock damage.

    Personally at that time, I was kinda stumped too when I threw this idea into the frying pan, but in a way, there may be a short term solution to this currently. Also, I think you may have made a typo when you said overload. I may have also forgotten to put in a cool down & a duration.

    5: when you activate an Ultimate ability, you gain 1 point of weapon & spell damage for each excess point of ultimate spent above the ultimates cost for 15 seconds*. Toggled ultimates have Infinite duration but only grants 0.5 weapon & spell Damage**, This can only occur once every 1 minute.

    (* giving this a 1 minute cooldown could ensure it is not misused in certain PVP activities such as battlegrounds.)
    (**since toggled ultimates have infinite duration, with certain exceptions, it is made to only be half as effective to keep it balanced across the playing field, however, should the ultimate be toggled off or certain timers run out, it will still enter the 1 minute cooldown.)


    If the mechanic for this set doesn’t work out, the idea “could” be used as a baseline for a unique passive ability in the long run.

    PART OF SWIPPY'S AWESOME SET

    (2 piece) Adds 50K Maximum Magicka
    (3 piece) Adds 5k Magicka Recovery
    (4 piece) Adds 1058 Maximum Stamina (because we don't want to get carried away here)
    (5 piece) swippy wins the game, and everybody else instantly loses. players on swippy's friends list lose slightly less.
    also, swippy is granted lots of gold and stuff.

    it might need some minor tweaks but i think it's a great idea for a set. do note that the unique bonus is applied to swippy regardless of who equips the set.

    Don’t you mean “Grants a 30% chance to apply minor mangle, reducing the targets health by 10% for 30 seconds. This can only occur once every 1 minute per enemy.” (as some 5 piece bonuses aren’t coherently affected by the quality and level of the gear.)

    also, five minutes for a 30 second mangle is a bit redundant, ain’t it? One minute is better, puts it in line considering minor mangle has no effect on boss enemies.

    Was thinking about a set that would be useful for ppl that have farmed vMA many times over and still need weapons. Set only drops in vMA and doesnt work outside of vMA.

    Smoking Plume Set (Light, Medium and Heavy)

    (1) Disables any score and Perfect Run achievement in Maelstrom Arena.
    (2) Grants Major Courage at all times increasing weapon and spell damage by 256.
    (3) Grants Minor Slayer increasing damage done to vMA monsters by 5% also grants Minor Aegis reducing damage taken by vMA monsters by 5%.
    (4) Max Mag, Max Stam and Max Health.
    (5) Increases Physical and Spell Penetration by 2750.
    (5) Reduces cost of Abilities by 8%. When you kill an enemy you restore 2150 magicka and stamina also gaining Major Vitality for 5 seconds increasing healing recieved by 30%.

    Only players that have farmed vMA would be able to obtain the set therefore making the grind a little easier to get the drop they want. Not being able to get a score would only effect the wearer so ppl going for leaderboard arent effected by ppl using the set.

    I wonder how this set would fit in.
    This set is basically a two-handed version of Knight errants mail, but with a catch, not as much healing but heals for each enemy hit, encouraging moves such as cleave & reverse slice. Also encourages hybridability between tanking(being able to heal rapidly when dealing with groups of enemies via brawler or reverse slice as well as taking less stealth damage from enemies pvp wise.) and damage dealing(especially viable for maelstrom arena if paired right.) the reason for less healing is because it would overheal considering this set combined with the healing from momentum.

    Any chance this could be passed on to the team as a plan B if they temporarily run dry on set idea’s.
