How is everyone finding Frozen Gate on the PTS? It seems to place the target behind the caster more often than not. I can't imagine that's intended behavior.

So now we have like 1 or 2 Animal skills slotted which is the Bear minimum to get passives like Flourish and Advanced Species.
I don't get why they change a bunch of class skills first week, then announce they are not making anymore class changes.... like wtf is that?

A lot of the class changes they made were to make other classes viable in other roles, DK healer, NB and Sorc Tank. Then most of the other changes were to the new sets and Psijic Skills (which is one of there main selling points for the chapter, among Jewellery crafting)

Am I the only one turned off by the total homogenization of classes in this game? It really kills class identity for me. Every class (save the now completely useless and fully abandoned mag warden) does the same thing, just with different colors twirling about now.
Everything is just... the same now. It's bland.
All the buffs/debuffs have been generalized, interesting and unique class abilities have been nerfed/completely reworked (badly) to "level the playing field" (repentance, shards, eclipse, one morph of shadow cloak now, crystal frags, whip, etc.). Nothing feels unique in a fun way anymore.
Not to mention killing certain abilities and putting them on a new *premium class*. (i.e. killing templar's Remembrance group major protection and giving it to warden instead)
Maybe I'm too used to playing games like Battlefield, where classes have strengths and weaknesses. Not "I rolled a medic, I should be able to take down tanks too!"

Would like to add, it's not like the stun on deep fissure stunned more than 1 player (so, no not an AoE stun, but a uncontrollable single stun)
And the stun is/was blockable
The way people describe it as an "AoE stun" really doesn't make sense. It's single player, and blockable. Unlike meteor or leap where players not blocking also get stunned

Damage vs CC
- Subterranean Assault (Stamina morph): Stir a group of Shalk that attack after 3 seconds, dealing Poison Damage to enemies in front of you. Enemies damaged are afflicted with Major Fracture, reducing their Physical Resistance for 5 seconds. An eruption stuns one enemy for 3 seconds.
- Deep Fissure (Magicka morph): Stir a group of Shalk that attack instantly, dealing Magic Damage to enemies in front of you. Enemies damaged are afflicted with Major Breach, reducing their Spell Resistance for 5 seconds.
See? Magicka morph attacks instantly, while Stamina's morph attacks after 3 seconds, with stun.

Today, in PTS, there is no stun or instant damage. How can you say it's nerf? I'm adding these two effects! BTW, Magicka Warden will have a greater damage, mainly in PvE, with an instant Deep Fissure.

You buff Stamden by giving them a stun. They don’t need that stun.
You nerf Magden by changing it to instant damage.
Instant Damage ruins the burst.
And making Deep Fissure instant means that its damage needs to be decreased. AOE Spammable always has lower damage comparing to Single Target Spammable (for example impulse or
steel tornado) It’s the delay that justifies such high damage for a AOE skill. So it will not help PVE DPS.

Can't agree more. The proposal you quoted is so terrible, I couldn't even bring myself to answer without risking another forum warning.

Off topic, but were you the one in spring 2014 talking about how great Templar could be in PvP, even against the then invincible DKs? I rolled a Templar to see for myself and it ended up getting the most hours of any toon to date. Thanks for the motivation to try the class.
Anything to get me excited to give my Magden another look?

Nicely done Zos, you have decided to go through the single, most terrible change possibly done.
I'm pretty sure ZOS/Wrobel is actively interested in removing the ability to solo effectively in Cyrodiil. The ability to do that doesn't line up with anything I've ever seen them say about their vision for PVP, I don't believe they've ever been swayed by an argument that such-and-such change harms solo PVPers, and they have never shown any interest in making Cyrodiil better from the perspective of a soloer.HalfEatenCornea wrote: »Nicely done Zos, you have decided to go through the single, most terrible change possibly done.
it changes like removing shalk stun that makes me lose hope for this game. no matter how underpowered or unpopular your class is, any set of patch notes could randomly gut your class and end your ability to solo. the entire community could speak out about how bad the change is (and they have) and zos will just ignore it like they have. Meanwhile the classes that are overperforming by miles ahead of the other classes go completely unscathed.
