The fix needs to be credit for one tutorial point (whatever tutorial that happened to be) and one only.
Option to do some version of the introductory quest would be nice, but not a dealbreaker.

Have people given up the cause yet? Looks like the skill points are not coming.
It was never going to be 2, just one... there’s no way new characters could do both new tutorials beside the old wailing prison one.. so the difference would always have been 1...
well there are 2 skill points ...if i remember right there is a certain quest line that in the end if you go right you get 2 skill points and if you go left you get 1....so you miss that skill point as well (but you miss it because you choose something )

Maybe they did hear you, but they just disagree with you.
Sorry if that's a spoon in the Matrix moment, but, just because you think its 'bugged,' it may actually be WAI.
Maybe ZOS considers the tutorial to be for new players.
Maybe ZOS thinks to throw new players a bone with an extra skill point.
Maybe ZOS doesn't want to add extra complexity with a mechanism to check account creation date vs Summerset release date, so, it just applies to characters made on the day or after.
With all the water you've carried about this issue, ZOS has heard you. SInce they 'did it again,' it stands to reason they don't agree with you.

Erm...you have the additional 50 skill points from PvP. Unless you maxed out every skill tree in the game there is no way the one missing skill point is a deal breaker even with Jewelry Crafting and Psijic skill line coming. I just don’t get why the skill point is SO important to have a huge fuss made about it.
Not just the skill points either. There's some good storytelling in those quests (although they're short) that we're locked out of as well, as both of them present a very nice introduction to their respective zones.Darkmage1337 wrote: »ZOS simply needs to make the tutorial quests accessible for per-existing characters to go back and do them for the skillpoints.

It is already bad enough that this obvious oversight has occurred not once (Morrowind), but twice (Summerset).
By the time the 3rd or 4th 'Chapter' rolls around, that will be an entire passive-skill line that will be unobtainable for player character's who've been playing since launch, pre-Morrowind/pre-Summerset. Bad game design is bad.
ZOS simply needs to make the tutorial quests accessible for per-existing characters to go back and do them for the skillpoints.
...Please hold while I being my Summon @ZOS_GinaBruno prayer.

This going to add up in balanced. How about we just spot now?
This is exactly my point. One or two now isn't a big deal, however if this is to be the future of chapters and ESO, older players will be punished more and more over the years. Sure over 10 years it's only 10 extra skill points, but thats 10 more to go toward passives or anything I want really.
Once again, I paid for the chapter just like everybody else, why don't I get my one extra skill point that comes with the chapter just because I played prior to the launch of said chapter? Makes absolutely no sense why you would lock older players from something like this.

I'm questioning your math logic... because no character is going to have '10' extra skill points... only NEW characters will have 'two'- which means only new characters will ever only have ONE point more than you- not TEN. If ZOS were to do anything, I'd remove the skill point from chapter tutorials and keep it in the Wailing Prison quest.
The skill point issue is one I can at least get from a consistency and completionist standpoint (although I still think it’s an exaggerated view), but missing out on good storytelling? Who thinks the Morrowind tutorial is, of all things, good storytelling? It’s sparring with Naryu, fetch stuff, fight a few enemies if you choose to, and that’s it. Certainly not good storytelling but rather a copy of the wailing prison in Morrowind setting.

Prison was way more interesting. But do not forget - ESO is an MMORPG, and most of them have either weak story or it is not delivered nearly as good as it should have been.
