Well, I was playing Skyrim lately again - both has something to it, single-player and MMO. With this said, we did most likely not all play the same Skyrim, because a whole lot are using mods, which are changing the experience due to personal preferences and so Skyrim can become a different experience with a different set of mods. MMO is a again another kind of experience. Both do not have to get in the way of the other - even TES VI will have a med-term effect on ESO, but it depends a lot on what Bethesda will be presenting in TES VI. 2 years ago Todd Howards still said, they don't have the technology for it yet. so I don' think, that we will get a TES VI anytime soon - somewhere in the 2020s - and who knows, if it will take place in Tamriel at all. Nirn is a planet with serveral continental land masses and different races than just those 10 living in Tamriel.

They absolutely have the technology for it, lol. Witcher 3 came out in 2015.

Not likely.... I think ZOS was surprised by the players who started playing ESO, "...just 'til ESOVI comes out..." but now are hooked and don't wanna go back to single player ES games...

It will be inevitably on market shelves no matter what ESO community thinks. The thing is the release of TES6 will dramatically affect the outflow of ESO players from the game to gain new experience in TES6. The ESO release was a breath of fresh air for all TES community, notwithstanding the fact that Skyrim is still in vogue amongst tons of gamers. It was a great marketing strategy to release ESO in several years after Skyrim when TES5 worls has already been explored by all for multiple times, and I'm no exception. New world, new experience, and the thing all players have been dreaming of for ages - to be drowned in TES world with all other travellers and wanderers, that's why the game is so popular. But what should the game ancicipate with the TES6 release? Will ESO community leave the project for trying TES6? Of course, all would like to try this one. But DAMN, how to combine all these two games?)
can you substantiate that with a link please.... not just random speculation on youtube or reddit but something from bethesda?
Such as this?

i dont think alot of these guys realize that tes6 will turn into what skyrim did not very long after its release dull and boring and repetitive until the modding community gets ahold of it which will only increase its shelf life by a month or 2 tops. the singleplayer games anymore have no replayability without mods and once those dry up the game dies just like all other singleplayer games. the multiplayer games like eso will always come out on top. besides we wont see elder scrolls 6 until probly the year 2030 their still milking skyrim which has been a dead horse for years. so all these guys saying theyll leave eso for this game is lieing through their teeth they know without mods that games gonna last maybe a week tops and with a mod itll last about a month to at the high end a year.

Due to mods, I played ESO for 3 years. I love mods and I love modding.
The only reason I play ESO, in all honesty, is because the industry just doesn't make any interesting single player games in my particular style anymore and ESO is the closest I can get to Skyrim.
I just don't see the industry at large every getting back into making truly epic single players. The income that can be made on MMO's far exceeds what can be made from single player games.
That's not to say there aren't a few companies like Bethesda that make EPIC single player games, just that the number of those companies can be counted on one hand and the output rate is few and far between.
Are there others who only play ESO because they are waiting for the next great single player? Of course there are but while that number may be noticeable I do not think it would really harm ESO much as those players really constitute a smaller base as compared to the whole.
But like otheres have said that is a long way off and I have things to kill so I am fine where I am for now.
Famous words right here.If rumors are true
I don't think there are any leaks regarding Starfield. Everything I've seen that was a "Starfield leak" has been confirmed as fake.If you are refering to the E3 rumors, no.
While 95% of all rumors regarding Bethesda are true, this one is most likely not. I trust them when they say, there will be 2 other titles before that. We will however surely see Starfield being revealed and if leaks are to be believed, it'll be alot like the typical Bethesda RPG we love.
Skyrim Together is coming soon. Bethesda managed to deny them the Steam entry. But it will come anyway, still I think it won't be drawing much population.
Why not? Fallout 4 had.ES6 won't really have the modding of old free skyrim mods from nmm.
