Just don't wear the tabard. I do not see the logic in wanting a tabard slotted and not having it seen. The I wnat my guild on the nameplate is just weird reason.
if it make the actual outfitted armour look bugged then they should fix that.
You can just take it off?

It same as saying "Maybe don't use Hide Helmet option, but just don't wear helmets?"

though I disagree with him, in all fairness helmets serve a purpose. And purpose tabards server is negated by hiding them. Aside from the <Guild Tag>.. Which is really all I want. I do'nt understand why it's a problem for dude that people want to represent their guild without an unsightly dress

Please think. With it off, guild name does not show where people actually look, your nameplate. Also, the TABARD does not even SAY the guild name on it, nor let you use a custom logo - ours has a Golden Cockerel - Like how does that = Scrub Lords?
We need the name to function, not the pointless, ugly fabric.

Totally agree on that. Helmet is a part of your armour, while tabbard is just a cosmetic item. It's like asking for having an option to hide a disguise. I rather they concentrated on making the tabbard appear on top of the armor instead of having this unsightly, brown, undyeable jumper rather than adding an option for people too lazy to hit 'I' on their keyboard and double click an equipment slot. I mean how often do you need to put the tabbard on and take it off? 20 times a minute?

But i want to rep my guild on my nameplate without looking like an idiot
Well, I would suggest not picking a guild with an idiotic looking tabard, at that point!
Why not just take it off and hide it in your bag?

I don't think you get it. Its guild pride. I have a pvp guild that I've been doing everything for duos to raids with for like 2 years. I'm also in a dueling guild and love to wear my pvp guild tabard to the dueling guild meets. Only problem is my tabard and my outfit soooooooooo don't look good together. Looks like a damn fool tbh.

So then why the heck would you want to have an option to hide it if this is about guild pride?
You want to hide your tabbard? Take it off. You want to display your guild pride? Put it on. Ez.
Of course he does not (or it'd be assuming some kind of dumbness and it'd be offensive lol), the names displaying system is maybe a bit unrecognized stillWhy not just take it off and hide it in your bag?

Ugh, do you use nameplates at all? Because I really, really don't think you understand what I'm asking for.

Just completely separate tabards from your visible guild name. If you choose to wear a tabard, it could simply overwrite this option with the name of the appropriate guild.
While a hide tabard option accomplishes a similar goal, it's a less elegant solution overall.
