Perhaps one pocket technician could also occasionally ... I mean there are other things found in pockets that shouldn't really have enough space to fit in there. All pockets have a little bit of a pocket dimension to them me thinks.

Also maybe one could solve riddles or venture out and ad - have an adventure I mean and be rewarded an odd noble steed from a grateful pirate farmer.

I am not so sure how one makes a horse with hammer and anvil, but a wooden contraption with two wheels that works downhill perhaps? Or a silken kite to slide ... well there might be options.

Would be interesting to add carriages to the game, or even a dwemer style, steam powered carriage. Chose the active mount you want, and if you want to ride in the pulled carriage, select an active carriage as well, unless it is powered by steam... There are already carriages in the housing tab, they just sit there though as static items. Add customization options such as the ability to add lanterns or enchanted lights, animation and needed code for it to all work so you could ride it around. But that probably won't happen, would require lots of work.

There are ways to generate income from this system that they may find appealing yes.

The same with the templates - make them a fair drop in Tamriel - but make it possible to obtain for a reasonable amount in the store also.

Specific mount skin motifs could also be introduced in Tamriel then maybe later on sold in the store - skin styles this one she thinks of - like tiger and mammoth. Would you not like a hairy orange Guar whose feet had a tiger pattern? Think of this as being spellcrafting - but with animal parts instead of runes perhaps?

There is no reason they would have to stop selling the usual range of mounts - if the mount is appealing enough then the coin will still flow.

This one is realistic to know that nothing will come to Tamriel in these times unless a way can be found to bring purchases into the system.

What if they came in styles like the motif pages? A Silken Ring guar, a Yokudan camel, a Bouncing Armchair ... armchair?

Anyway the thought entered the head of Khajiit and it was better it did not stay in there all by itself.

As Khajiit has suggested there are ways to include profit in this system - as presently exist in the other crafting systems.

However the purchase of items should only be a shortcut and not the only viable alternative to finding the things you need in Tamriel.

There is no point introducing any system that makes travellers so disheartened at drop rates that they feel compelled to turn to the store as the only realistic means of obtaining what they require.

True. We already have a fair amount of that going on with the crafting system as far as home furnishing items go. The drop rate for Morrowind specific furnishings is abysmally low. I've suspected from the beginning this was to bolster the sales of the same items as Crown Store purchases. If a system such as the one you suggested (which I think would be awesome, btw) were ever implemented, I would imagine (very sadly) that the drop rate for available-in-Tamriel components would fall into the same kind of Really Low Drop Rate category.
