Full Charged Heavy Attack > Pierce Armor > Bash . All cancelled into each other . That's how you get most single target DPS on a PvE Tank without reking your stamina . If you have a lightning staff on back bar , Blockade and heavy attack does the highest AOE DPS . That's what I do on my tank while running around in Overland maps .

Thanks for that. I'll try it out the next time I'm out skyshard hunting!

As a Tank this pains me to see..... even on my tank gear it goes fast than that. That being said, craft some DPS gear, get some medium or light armor and an offensive weapons set up and swap too it when doing overworld, even if your attributes or CP is not set for it it goes MUCH MUCH MUCH faster then staying as a pure Tank. Overworld is so easy anyway you don't need more than that.

After this video I realize my tank was actually killing mobs rather fast when he was waiting for dungeon group to form :o Because he still has ~32k health and ~28k stam... His heavy attacks can hit for 6k, very op B)
He has all points into stamina, and for questing and exploring he simply has separate dd gear. But as tank what I used: aggro bunch of mobs, activate Volatile Armor to make them look hot and burning  , debuff them with Choking talons, then Pierce Armor + Heroic Slash to kill them one by one, refreshing Talons when needed. Oh, I also started with warhorn if it was ready in the beginning - to make the battle seem epic :D

    Too painful to watch
    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

Nightblade-Hipster. I played Nightblade before it was cool - from 1.5 onwards.

Yeah, that stamina pool can surely make your stamina attacks hit a lot harder!

my 4 year old son has higher dps on my tank just spamming puncture

edit: he can also weave in the occasional light attack to really throw out some dmg.

I can barely read your stat totals, but it looks like you have 11k mag, 14k stamina, and 41k health? With full ebon? Doesn't suprise me at all that you are doing such poor damage when solo. Do you have a food buff on in this video?

I honestly don't need more than 32k on my tank (30k when soloing. Ravager+7th legion) and have 20k minimum stamina (normally 23-25k) Having pools that low is honestly terrible.

Also there is no weaving or animation-canceling. Nor a second bar. Like, what do you expect?

    Here are my stats:

    Health: 46k (with buff)
    Magicka: 10.9k
    Stamina: 10.6k

I have a decent magicka recovery (1400), so that's enough for spamming my igneous+chains. My heavy attacks restore enough stamina, and the high health pool means I only have to block the important attacks.

Granted, I've never done a trial or DSA because they're not in the dungeon finder tool, so...! The hardest content I've tanked successfully so far is vRoM and vCoS without really any problems. I can even tank ghost Chudan's spit on HM.

My second bar doesn't have any DPS skills, so no point in switching to it really.
