It's funny, for all the complaining you constantly see on the forums everyone sure gets antsy as soon as they can't log into the game for a few hours.

One would think a build making it's way onto the Public Test Server would have been tested internally first. One would think a build promoted from pts to live would have been tested. I don't care about the complexity of your product, that is your responsibility to test and maintain. A responsibility I am paying you for.
But hey, who cares about anything right? Everything is peachy at ZOS, just keep that cash rolling in and milking your target market. I'm not too pissed off that the servers are down, *** happens. But when said excrement piles up on a regular basis and you, the excreter, continue to think your *** don't stink - something is very very wrong.
I regret not trusting my gut prior to investing my play time in your title. So I will do the only thing that you, or rather, your board of directors will notice: I will stop paying until you stop reeking of incompetence.
I won't quit and nobody is having my stuff. I'll simply milk you in turn until such a time that I feel I've recuperated a portion of the money spent.

between that and the RNG time to take a break for a good long while.
Can i have your stuff along with all the other butthurt people who are quitting over this? Look on the bright side, you will have more time to go outside and may be able to stave off type 2 diabetes.
Great post ! Unfortunately the whiners will hate it !
Apparently, the downtime will last for at LEAST 2 more hours. That will make the maintenance last a total of 5-6 hours at a minimum. Oh, and by the way, that EU's entire prime time...

Hey ZOS, do i need to call my Lawyer. ZOS just THREATEN every ESO player by saying that they will take care of any account taking part in this BUG, yet you won't tell us what this exploit is so that players can stay away from EXPLOIT.
This is really absurd though. If they are going to randomly take servers down all day they should at least tell us why.
"muh exploits" isn't a good answer when this "one fix" is taking longer than normal weekly resets.

IP ban is actually simple, just make a entry in a routing table. Only take a couple of minutes
When I was working in a fortune 500 company's IT dept the senior network architect got tired of spam email from particular place and just blocked everything from that country (it was Ireland of all places). He blocked everything, Email, Web traffic, DNS, Everything..
