did all 8 last night, hopefully I have it close to right with the new cp setup...i needed to go through all the characters anyway to collect end of campaign stuff - but yeah, it definitely takes a bunch of time to go through each character...

after the first 3 or 4 characters it went a lot faster...

did make my argonian magward (likes-to-watch), need to create a khajiit stamward today (sylvester)...

yesterday was easily the "laggiest" I've ever seen in the game (outside of some zerg fest in cyro)...

just realized with switching to a new map will probably miss out in the campaign "loyalty" reward of 3,333 coins for the end of the next campaign...for 8 characters it was a nice little 26k plus payout...

same here - for my AD characters I recieved all different cyro jewelry...

no weapons though with either rewards for the worthy or end of campaign...

the price for a sharpened cyro weapon is about to skyrocket...

Ending at position 5 on EP leaderboard I ended up with 3 gold rings and 3 gold necklace.

    Gold rings:
    Curse-Eating
    Ring of the Desert Rose
    Ring of Transmutation

    Gold necks:
    Necklace of Imperial Wrath
    Necklace of the Swift
    Deadly Necklace

Not complaining but it would've been nice if one neck and ring were in the same set.

It is awesome...they need to debug the q system, but small scale quick games are so much fun, plus you see many familiar faces on opposites sides as you or even randomly on your team, which is cool..sustain has been no issue on my healer..and a bunch of cool titles...

BG felt way more like CAll of Duty with swords, bow and Staff. Fast paced small arena group play. I did, not terrible one match and got rear handed another 3 match. Seems like you really need 4 man strong dueler setup to wreck. Tank, healer, DPS is not so great.

Need strong single target burst, CC, and execute

Lvl17 on my MagWarden Healer, hopefully I can get it lv50 before the end of the weekend. It's been interesting being back in PVE. Looks like there are a lot of new faces in and around Auridon.

I just solo'ed Bloodmayne LM on Vivec, not seeing any changes with guard behavior. Looks pretty much cut-for-cut the same kind of guards I fought in Homestead.

ugh, i can't get out of battlegrounds to go to cyro...

interesting bit of news for vivec - EP is large and in charge the first few days of this campaign...seen some "new" names on the leaderboards...

as far as battlegrounds - so far I'm feeling most comfortable with my stamplar (wears 7 heavy with around 45k base health)...

it's going to take me a while to get comfortable with the different environments and game styles...and, to take advantage of all the different characters...my magblade felt okay also...

found 2 real cool players from "sver true bloods" (?)...they were the only two people I had heard in chat that weren't simply yelling and screaming...they could actually remain calm while playing (not easy for a lot of folks)...

once the 3 of us grouped - we were able to compete really well (we almost blanked the other 2 teams in capture the flag)...it was fun...

a lot of the random grouping can get dicey, everyone splits up, playing deathmatch in domination and capture the flag games...

hard to beat a few people working together...

of yeah - if you haven't tried battlegrounds yet, it's proc heaven...very very cheesy indeed...

capture the flag and domination are really speed and stamina focused, that and hopefully the other two teams will just keep getting caught up in killing each other...

there's definitely some strategy in it all - i just haven't quite puzzled it out yet...

i wanna give all the different characters some time in battlegrounds...see which ones are currently best set up to survive (tons of snares, roots and all kinds of incoming damage - lots of poison)...group heals and shields are super important...too bad they just raised the cost of vigor...

reported in for duty last night on my DC stamplar...

took him from battlegrounds to cyrodiil - very very fun transition...felt good to spread out a bit and not have to worry about getting hit in the back every 2 seconds :p

needed to come in and sit behind a desk for a bit today - but, super psyched - my stamwarden cat is ready to make his debut in pvp this evening...can't wait to break free of work :)

seriously - i don't know why, but, some of the most fun in the game I have is bringing a level 10 character in to IC...it's just an absolute blast...

as I've made new characters over time it's been interesting to see just how well I'm able to compete against other players and some of the pve quests there...

made the mistake on my last few characters to outfit them in epic gear early (a had purple improvement mats to spare at the time - not so much anymore)...

gonna keep them in superior gear this time...with the combat leveling, the character is already well boosted...will use hundings and nmg...this time I'll give them all training traits...

i'll use the siege merchant's pots and food...

in the past - after creating a character, I've left them exclusively in cyrodiil fighting - i don't want to wait 3 or 4 months though to level these new characters to vet...i'll make sure to get these two questing and traveling in some of the overland zones...

So... I tired out Knight Slayer.
(2 items) Adds 967 Max Magicka

(3 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage

(4 items) Adds 1064 Max Health

(5 items) Your fully-charged Heavy Attacks against Players deal and additional 9% of their Max Health as Oblivion Damage.

Open world/Small Scale, this doesn't really work--however it might work much better with something like S+B or DW. I had a glooooooooorious 1v1 with a MagDK from EP inside of a barn this weekend. Lost, but learned about how this set works on my MagSorc. Doesn't necessarily work against someone in your face since the cooldown/charge time of the Heavy Attack allows the enemy to knock you up for abit before it goes off.

Keep Defense, if you slot this while defending a keep with a Staff, you can 2-shot people. No one can focus you down while you are up on the rafters firing flame/lightning Heavy Attacks onto the enemy trying to assault the keep. Several times I would get 4 different attacks to go off onto one target, all at once all with one Heavy Attack, then fire a Endless fury and boom dead.

It's an absolutely devastating equipment set if you're in the right spot to use it.

I might try this on my MagPlar with S+B. So far I have not seen any weapons for it yet, but if I ran my 2 LA pieces + jewelry, I can probably put together something with Kagnerac's.

howdy @Takes-No-Prisoner ...battleground weapons are sold at a battleground merchant which is located at a camp close by the battlegrounds to the south of vivec city...

they're super cheap (12k AP) per weapon...just have to buy your way through the loot table to get what you want...

Plus I uh, I think I have to figure out what would work well for no CP.

very few folks are mic'd up...moves too fast for text chat...

irregardless of the type of match it usually devolves in to players just fighting each other...

once you have an idea of the basic rules it's pretty easy to follow...getting used to the three maps takes a little while...

it's a lot of chaos and fun to be honest...

luck of the pug makes a big difference...

good place to go all cheese...purge or cleansing ritual are real important - lots of poisons everywhere...mobility is pretty key also...

the only way to really guarantee being OP, or, consistently successful is like you mentioned - stay in a pre-made group...

once you have an idea of the maps, rules and basic strategy - you really only need at least one other player in the group to really know what they're doing...

most of the players i ran in to there were max cp and seemed to have an okay idea of what was going on...

a lot of the time if your group can stay together, things will be much easier...

Right, but you still gotta gear for no-CP. Which means sustain city.

Plus having multiple encounters back-to-back means having the resources to deal with poisons/damage. So Amber does fit that bill nicely.

a bunch of my fights didn't last long enough for me to run out of resources :# ...lots of rezzing back to the starting platform...

basically I've succumbed to using lots of heavy and light attacks to manage my resources :(

I remember reading magsorc's were OP in battlegrounds cuz of streak and mages wrath/endless fury...

I only played my magsorc a little bit in battlegrounds and he got pretty well smoked...

right now I'm more comfortable using my heavy armor and nightblade guys...

hmmmmm, now I wanna play my magsorc there til I get him right :)

biggest challenge for me was figuring out how to watch my own back...

you'll definitely do great and kick much butt prisoner...

Stoney_McGee showed up for the first time in 6 months last night. Got to run around small scaling with Tech,Sweetheart,Xander,OJ,and a bunch of other guys.

OJ and me both commented on EPs strength when Stoney asked about why AD was doing bad. We both seemed to be on the same page about EP guilds being a little wuss about not coming to Scourge back then. Though I knew I talked to a bunch of EP loyalists (you guys here) to get the just of what was happening with EP. I most certainly knew they would leave a mark once they where shoe horned into one campaign. AD as a whole, seems to be caught off guard by it. That is entirely their fault for not taking steps to find out why EP sorely had no strength last round.

I am certainly not surprised by how much we are getting gated. It's to be expected.

Oh yeah, rumor has it Michael Angelo 7 will be returning with his guild today. So expect to see more push back from AD during the day.
