I think magicka nightblades are really good in 4 man content with their passive heals and decent DPS. Most vet dungeons except maybe the Shadows of the Hist dungeons you can run 3 DPS including the magblade. But that's with funnel health and refreshing path, I'd imagine that in trials Force Pulse and Twisting Path would be preferred? Then I'd guess they'd just be a ranged mag DD like Sorc.
I know nothing about Stam NB tho. And I loved sap tank for vet DLC dungeons then you could run 3 DPS and just heal and tank. Not sure how that works now though
I wish they'd increase the duration on siphoning strikes to be like that of molten weapons from DK, that way you have more time to stack DoTs and cast buffs. Then the DoTs don't last long at all, so they're not that great in PvP where you have to skip rotation to through up damage shields, and stealth. Lastly there's the problems of immobilization and snares, against a magicka nightblade... Lol you're dead, give up.
My main is stamblade... She is my only master crafter and master angler And if seriously, from my own experience she has and always had best damage from all my characters. In vMA (before morrowind), she killed things faster than my stamsorc, just had worse survivability.
