The salt in this thread is crazy. Easy to see who never comes close to killing him in pvp.

Firstly, a good build. His builds utilise everything at his disposal and no armor slot of skill slot is wasted.

Secondly, he's good at animation cancelling. Those who cry it's cheating or cheap, l2p and do it yourself. Devs has stated it's going nowhere. Deal with it or look elsewhere I guess.

Thirdly, he keeps calm, chooses the right opponents in the right order and uses his surroundings.

Enough playing solo or in a small group outnumbered and it makes you think about all the above three. Half the time, people he fights do seem to be idiots. Partly because they only zerg so will never learn to play the game. You can only fight what's in front of you.

Of all the real good streamers out there, Kodi is amoungs the ones I respect the most while facing them.

Most of the time he is encountered completely Solo (rarely zerg surf, sometimes with Jules but they are often running healer/dps combos, often they both run the same exact thing).

Rarely uses cheese builds, or at least try to stay away from them to prove he can have success without them.

When I fight him, I have a feeling of mortality, as if I am fighting any other player. I feel like I can kill him and that its a matter of how good my reflexes are or how well I time my abilities.

Its not like some others that run in groups in which everyone runs some kind of cheese build that has a synergy with other's and that if you take out just one of them you feel like you just won the superbowl because its just as hard.

As for animation canceling: Mostly everybody is or should be doing it. Its quite easy if you run ESO on your SSD drive. You dont even need macros as I feel that the human brain is more reliable than a pre-determined macro when you have unexpected stuff happening in a fight. Animation cancel is also present in many other comptetitive games its a technique that must be mastered if you want to excel.

Most run Stam build because burst is king in this game. It's exciting for a viewer to see someone instantly die to a one hit animation cancel combo macro slice vice trying to dps someone down over time, playing the game as intended. Streamers need to build explosive excitement in stream. Not put people to sleep.easiest class to exploit animation cancel with macros and dish out major burst is stamina two hander.

Zos has yet to figure out that range damage is junk compared with gap closers like crit rush followed up with ani canceled combos that outshine any range advantage.

thats the bottom line, CP doesnt mean you are a good player it just means youve put the hrs in.
ive fought cp 600's that i nuke no problem. zerg surfers straying from the pack.
and then i fight some cp 450 ish players that put up a hell of a fight and make me work for a kill. these guys i know at max cp will be forces to reckon with.
these are also the guys that go out and fight without a zerg and dont care if they die, and learn from theyre mistakes when they do. these are the guys that try different tactics, rotations and movements to see whst works.
be like these guys.
dont be the pug at the back of the zerg spamming snipe thinking your a badass when you get those AP ticks.

We've adjusted our automatic anti-cheat systems to focus specifically on the cheats we've seen in the last few days, in addition to launching investigations on specific players. We've permanently banned 43 players in the last 24 hours who were found to be cheating. We don't take cheating lightly, and will continue to ban those who are found to be cheating. We'll be going back through game logs to identify players who were violating our anti-cheating policies in the hours before we performed the automatic cheat detection adjustment.

In addition, we're working on a number of fixes and improvements to prevent this kind of behavior from happening in ESO in the future. We'll provide more specific details about this tomorrow.

There was massive uproar last year because of CE, to pretend it wasn't exploited is either incredibly ignorant for a forum poster, or maliciously deceptive. The problems with CE appear to have been addressed, but they were denied for a long time before anyone recorded gross exploits.

Thing is you didn't need to use gross exploits to take advantage of CE, any half brained player wouldn't except to deliberately show off that they could in order to get banned. Players can and have cheated in every game since games have existed, just as people commit crime. Just like crime most do not go around telling everyone why and how they cheated.

Without being Omniscient there is no possible way to say whether cheating is or isn't widespread. You can say that the official statement from ZOS is that they will ban those they find cheating. That in no way means that players are not cheating only that ZOS claims to ban those they find cheating.

It is generally not considered profitable to go around telling everyone how much players can and do cheat in your game. So outside of specific examples of widespread uproar from the player base cheating is not likely to ever be addressed publicly even as it is being continually addressed privately. Essentially even if there is widespread cheating and ZOS actually knows about it, without public outcry ZOS isn't likely to publicly address it.

Players should of course use discernment and try to rule out all errors themselves before reporting cheating, however if after looking for other explanations you still believe you have video evidence of cheating you should report it end of story. Pretending that every player that appears to be cheating is just better than you only serves to support and prop up cheaters.

That is looking at things from inside the game, in the same manner most players are not perfectly equal from a technological interface standpoint. The saying: "No matter how fast you are on the draw there is always someone faster." is basically true for gaming.

For your gaming enjoyment and long term satisfaction it is best to assume that everyone you meet is not cheating UNTIL you encounter something rather extra ordinary.

I don't know this kodi. Is he pc na? i just played bg with fengrushs stam sorc / pre made team. Was good fun. My score was better then his both rounds but his entire team was god like. Hard to get even k/d ratio. The rest of my team actually quit after getting their asses handed to them. My Score must only be better because I use mages wrath. So nice to use that skill in bg and Cool to be able to play with / against someone like him.

Since I responded directly after the guy who posted the video and explanation, I thought it would be obvious of what I was referring to.

Perhaps the ability to drop multiple ultimate meteors in succession is perfectly normal. I'm no expert.

Regarding stamina, the scaling dodgeroll, the mobility and the unpredictable, high burst makes them much better in small scales than magicka. You cannot kill a stam build in certain areas (every bit of corner, really) unless you stack extreme amounts of damage dealers on them. You can root, CC and negate magicka, but stam has no counterplay.

Everyone secretly knows that and it's the whole secret to certain montages. You'd be wise to just stay away from stam builds rolling around a tree.

This is the key. If you have this, all the rest will come with practice, learning your character, etc. (all the stuff @RinaldoGandolphi said). I think you can get this with more practice, dueling, etc.

I don't know. i'm still working on it. I don't put the time into it and I play a lot of alts so I don't really master anything...

gonna add one or two cheats/exploits that i've had to fight enemies with:

Miats (and before that, there was an cheat that showed where players were - which was prolly part of cheat engine)

lag spiking (using a lag switch or something)

I have also been killed with macros:

Someone crit rushes me and kills me with Heavy attack+Dizzying swing + crit rush + dawnbreaker all by the time he hits me with the crit rush (this was last year, so name is long forgotten).

it was a while ago, and I am aware that Sypher hasn't played for about 5 months. He has since gotten into Overwatch and what not

I remember more than once in PVP getting ganked by the same cheesefanboi and it was always hitting multi attacks at once with no time to react and *alway* the same sequence of attacks/abilities, 6 or 7 of them - about 10 times

Of course the devotees will say things like -

Amazing situational awareness
amazing animation cancelling
superb hand eye coordination
and my favourite is - knows how to run around rocks

Makes me wonder:

1/ is there a way that the exact same sequence of attacks/abilities can be reliably 'orchestrated' to occur repeatedly?
2/ is there a way to 'pause' the outgoing commands to the ESO server so they 'queue;' up and hit at once.

btw what are macro's and lag switches?
