No, I stated that his comment is not how the game or macros work. Those are two entirely different claims.

The one second global cooldown restricts macros. There is no way to circumvent the global cooldown with macros, so your fingers are entirely capable of pushing the buttons as fast as a macro could give commands, assuming low latency. I heard rumors of CE being able to shorten your global cooldown, but I don't know how (or if) CE works. I also know that Kodi doesn't use it, so don't misconstrue that please.

Why you guys never mention this factor?

2 Handed ultimate + immmovable potions + occassional shuffle + occassional dodge roll/break free = almost never see KodiPvP get CC'ed.

EDIT: oh snap he does not use the 2 Handed ultimate. But still and great discovery.

Kodi doesn't appear to be cced often because he taps block when key ccs are incoming, like dizzying swing and frag, and breaks free quickly when he is cced. He manages stam properly, so getting cced should never stop him for more than the quick cc break animation.

In some fighting games, like Marvel vs Capcom, blocking in certain ways like posted above, can give you what they call 'frame advantage'.

In Marvel vs Capcom's case, this mechanic is called 'Advancing Guard'

Advancing Guard

To perform an Advancing Guard, also known as Push-Block, just perform a Block or an Air Block and, while still in Block Stun, press any two of the main Attack Buttons.

As for ESO, I'm not completely sure the defending player gets any sort of noticeable block buffs, but tapping block right when the hitbox of the attack lands on your character really helps get the best out of your stamina resources.

It's even useful for PvE Overworld bosses too.

Me personally, I would like to see something like, 'Perfecting Blocking' mechanic put in where you can gain frame advantage on your target if they smack your block, you can attack back faster then they can animation cancel. I would love to be able to push-block a target back using defensive mechanics, then punish them with my extra reaction time!

The usual response to anyone that questions the integrity of the 1vx crew is "u get farmed, git gud".

In the age of a thousand and one crit rush builds using procs, just ask yourself how anyone survives 1vxing? Math isn't going to be in your favor on this one...

I didnt say git gud. I doubt youre even interested in that suggestion anyway given the nature of your rant.

I just think it's sad people pull the cheater card so quickly in this game. People whisper you that youre a dirty macro-er/cheater the moment you do one light attack -> ability weave and that kind of stuff could be easily avoided if the game bothered teaching people anything.

But hey, when you advertise a game as "play the way you want" when the game has a very deep combat system with a (sadly) very poor learning experience, this is what you get.

Or the crouch, block and stamina regen goes to 100k one. That didn't happen either, nor was it exploited for weeks or months before it was known.

Or the sprint into dodge roll that made it cost 0. Yah that wasn't abused by certain people for months either.

I even did a video on that one, showing how it could be done (on a PTS build released after they claimed to have fixed it, no less)

this is just stupid. You must not have been on the forums last year when PC NA exploded with Cheat Engine users. People spamming meteors, literally flying up to the top of keeps, you name it. Then there's 1.3 bugged healing ward where if you recast it you get the heal as if it expired, 1.6 nirn, double mundus, sorc overload/toggle exploit, the momento to animation cancel abilities and desynch your health, etc.

Not accusing kodi at all, I think he's a clean player, just pointing out how full of it you sound in this thread.

Well in some cases you have to forgive people not playing PC NA which has seen some of the most ridiculous stuff.

But... not even the CE thing compares to b__hop of Souls and Bli___ny running around for a year with invulnerability and with impunity.

Suspicion should be a foregone conclusion for most.

They just bugged out mist form with the Dark Seducer/Golden saint costumes, allowing you to maintain the damage resists without any of the negatives. But yeah, even all the stuff listed in this thread isn't half of the bugs/cheats that have existed in game.

I don't have a need to be suspicious because I don't care who cheats, you can't use CE on my platform so I don't concern myself with it. I know that if I go around suspicious that everyone is cheating it will hinder my own growth because it becomes a crutch. Why bother to get better when you just think everyone cheats?

I do not believe the player being discussed in this thread cheats. Me personally, if I really wanted to make a joker out of myself, I could simply complain hes running the game at twice the frame rate(60FPS) then me(30FPS). But, that is just silly. This guy I've heard about even when I played on PC, if he's only gotten better since then he'd not need such 3rd party tools to assist his meta.

Add-ons are a different ballgame though.

I get that. And I'm sure that some players are quite skilled at animation canceling. But then again, I'm fairly confident that quite a few players use macros to tie in animation canceling. You didn't quite deny this, so I'm sure you have heard people talking about using macros, too.

LOS works just fine against everyone. In my experience, "the 1vX crew" just has the presence of mind to not blindly bum rush after every enemy they see run behind a rock or tree.

It comes with time I am around cp300 and have started forcing myself to play in pvp and finally getting a feel for how to be a better player have gotten a lot more comfortable and know what I can and can't do but am always learning every day and it's seeing amazing players like you had mentioned that make me pick up the game even tho I might be frustrated w/ it

The software ZOS uses to QA game mechanics was originally designed for geological surveys.

At some point I'll just cut to the chase and get around to making a loop of the mechanical sound you will hear repeatedly on Kodi's stream/videos.

Im well aware cheat engine is/was a thing.

Either way, doesnt mean the guy I quoted is right for suggesting that all the current "top" (whatever that means) players are doing shady things. This isnt a black and white issue.

And exploits are a different matter and ESO has had plenty of those. Doesnt fall under the definition of hacks or macros though

Yeah the macro 5-10 skills in 1 sek comment are just people that are salty they got rekt. Most likley it was 2 seconds 2 la 2 skills maybe 1-2 ulti/bash.

2-5 mundus Stones on the other hand that was not long ago. Several small scale groups had all 4-8 players running that.
