Got a couple female characters so I guess I should've picked Both, but almost all of my playtime is on Male characters, as I am one and it just feels right. Plus I like my armor to be more bulky, aaand the female character models aren't that appealing in this game, somehow..

Have 3 male and 2 female characters. All of them are khajiit. I make my characters attractive and appealing to my tastes.
    PS4 / NA
    M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer

I design my characters physically to reflect their essence/purpose as I see it.

    Ex:
My Imperial DK tank is male. Tanks are strong and unyielding, so my tank should be male (as my society teaches that men are tough, capable of handling trouble, etc.). Dragonknights also seem to be a class that utilizes brute force and pure power (fire, etc) to fight their battles. It's also hard for me to imagine something like a dainty little lady keeping Rakkhat's attention on her while waving tiny little stick arms at him. If I were to roll a female tank, she would probably be heavier set, tallish, and have well-defined facial features. That sort of thing. But in this case, it was easier and felt more natural for the tank to be a male.

The one that I feel fits teh character.

My Nightblade and Sorcerer are male, my Templar is female. (Haven't actually PLAYED the Sorcerer and Templar yet, they were created to unlock all 3 free Inn rooms and sit easy at level 5, which they earned getting to the cave to recover the Inn deed).

I'd probably end up playing both once I have a male character of each race, though.

irl female, in-game male. because female armors with the breast bulges TRIGGER me so hard, they're impractical and actually harmful to whoever wears the armor.
i'd want to play female characters [and sometimes say *** it and i do] if designers gave them actual armor not that godawful breast space stuff. it even LOOKS bad. grrrrh. i hate it.

I create a "me" character who is male; but I also create some other characters, both male and female, thinking about my real life friends and family + Tamriel lore + inspiration from other videogames/series/movies/books. :)
Baron Yashu al-Aydin - Forebear from Herne Island: "May Diagna guide my blade and Tava show me the way."

Eshu-Moushe Auspal - Ashlander from the Mainland: "While you try to pronounce my name, you get stabbed. Simply as that."
  • Solace of Shadows
    Male
I'm always male and always try to be the good guy.

The characters I create and the choices I make are a reflection on who I am, one way or another.

I've tried playing a female just as I've tried playing evil but I always end up gravitating way from thise charaters and deleting them.

I don't like it when males play females and vice versa because it feels like they misrepresent themselves but that's just me.

I know I play my way and others play their way. So whatever, you do you, have fun and respect others.

It's fantasy and an escape and many feel female characters are prettier to look at for hours at a time (which I cannot disagree with).
Solace In Shadows is my name in the realm of Tamriel. If you disagree with my words or disparage my sentiments, then face me on the battlefield and you can kiss my axe.

I play female because I am a man, and I like women.

    Particularly kick-butt/take-names Xena/Buffy/Sydney Bristow/BlackWidow women. ;)
My character is not me, it is an action figure/doll that I'm pushing around on the game board.

I pretty much always played female characters in MMOs (since vanilla WoW), and I've never gotten free stuff. (Perhaps due to me just playing female characters, and not "pretending to be female" in chat. /shrug)
