NightbladeMechanics wrote: »Wrong. IC objectives should count toward the campaign, and flags should be added in the sewers and maybe more in the districts. This would give campaign score players a reason to purchase and participate in IC combat, increasing fight diversity, and give small groupers hiding in IC away from the zerg lag a way to contribute to the greater campaign.
The only argument against this is "but it's a DLC, gated access is p2w." This argument is false unless there is such a market difference between DLC purchases between factions that one or two get completely stomped out. I have a really hard time seeing this happening with how many players play this game, and with how many players on all factions have served through IC at the points when it was more crowded in its long history. Personally, I am also not worried about zergs in IC because the terrain all over the districts and especially the sewers makes large groups cumbersome and easy to bottle up for smaller groups to kill. There's a reason large zergs tend to accumulate in the open on the district flags. Add a bunch of flags elsewhere in the districts and especially the sewers, and we will be able to contest those and force the big groups to move around in confined spaces, making them extremely vulnerable.
If you want to buy the DLC, then congrats, you can enjoy some IC objectives and compete for score there with all the other DLC people. If you don't buy the DLC, then you will still have all of upper Cyrodiil to compete over for points.
People who want IC populations decoupled from the campaigns don't care about IC being a healthy PvP DLC or about the Alliance War lore immershunz.
@KILLING4ALIVING Very good points. NML is blowing you off because you're right. Don't sweat it.
Azuras is out, because I'm DC and I don't want to be a part of the problem there.
Haderus is joke, only it's not very funny. It's an EP buff server, nothing more.
That leaves TF, and for all the lag it's still the best fight on any campaign.

So go fight on Had to help balance the population...
You don't solve problems by running away from them.
I am getting really tired of this "Had is imbalanced, why would I play there?" attitude.

The title says it all. Haderus is controlled by one faction, other two factions have maybe 5 players and zero castles each.

I presume you play on Azura's Star for AD or EP then? To help balance the population, right?

DC on Had has been slowly growing. I'm seeing some new DC faces, some of them former Azura's players. (Welcome!) If the trend continues DC will be in a good spot. As it is, EP and AD are so busy messing with each other sometimes you look at the map and think "why does DC have 4 emp keeps?!"
Had a great 3 way fight at Bleakers last night until more DC than I even thought were on the server came to root us out. There was hardly a destro ult or proc set in sight -- i.e. people actually fighting. And that's why I like Haderus.

My group was down by BRK/Chalman at the time, hesitant to merge back in with whatever DC was up to. This was happening right before we left the server for the night. It looked like AD ended up being successful at Ales, and eventually with Ans' emp push, though. Glad you had fun!

Must have been a different Bleakers fight. I was on AD last night after Ansley was dethroned; we took Bleakers from DC ~10pm Central, held off one assault and then got overwhelmed. On a good night we probably could have held, but we were being goofy. Just because magicka DKs are good in groups doesn't mean 6 of them make a super group.
I left shortly after; I don't know if EP managed to crown emp late night or not (sounds like they did) but DC had emp this morning. 3 emps in one day is the bad side of Haderus.
We've occasionally talked about running DC groups, but the balance situation seems to be resolving itself. Besides, DC is always more fun to fight. I just don't want to poke DC too often and risk demoralizing the few blue PUGs. If we go mess around at Glade lumbermill eventually a bunch of people show up and try to actually take the keep.
