Requiem is still active but the dedicated pvp group is no longer with the guild. Currently, Requiem pvp is sporadic and subject to member interest that given night. There is still a lot of interest in pvp, but without a dedicated team, with set days, we cant maintain the constant presence prior to Dec 2016.

As far as the "guild split" speculation, Requiem has no affiliation with 'Macro and Cheese'. I have honestly never heard of them.

Wrong. IC objectives should count toward the campaign, and flags should be added in the sewers and maybe more in the districts. This would give campaign score players a reason to purchase and participate in IC combat, increasing fight diversity, and give small groupers hiding in IC away from the zerg lag a way to contribute to the greater campaign.

The only argument against this is "but it's a DLC, gated access is p2w." This argument is false unless there is such a market difference between DLC purchases between factions that one or two get completely stomped out. I have a really hard time seeing this happening with how many players play this game, and with how many players on all factions have served through IC at the points when it was more crowded in its long history. Personally, I am also not worried about zergs in IC because the terrain all over the districts and especially the sewers makes large groups cumbersome and easy to bottle up for smaller groups to kill. There's a reason large zergs tend to accumulate in the open on the district flags. Add a bunch of flags elsewhere in the districts and especially the sewers, and we will be able to contest those and force the big groups to move around in confined spaces, making them extremely vulnerable.

If you want to buy the DLC, then congrats, you can enjoy some IC objectives and compete for score there with all the other DLC people. If you don't buy the DLC, then you will still have all of upper Cyrodiil to compete over for points.

People who want IC populations decoupled from the campaigns don't care about IC being a healthy PvP DLC or about the Alliance War lore immershunz.

@KILLING4ALIVING Very good points. NML is blowing you off because you're right. Don't sweat it.

    Great post, mate.

Haderus is joke, only it's not very funny. It's an EP buff server, nothing more.

That leaves TF, and for all the lag it's still the best fight on any campaign.

So go fight on Had to help balance the population...

You don't solve problems by running away from them.

DC on Had has been slowly growing. I'm seeing some new DC faces, some of them former Azura's players. (Welcome!) If the trend continues DC will be in a good spot. As it is, EP and AD are so busy messing with each other sometimes you look at the map and think "why does DC have 4 emp keeps?!"

Had a great 3 way fight at Bleakers last night until more DC than I even thought were on the server came to root us out. There was hardly a destro ult or proc set in sight -- i.e. people actually fighting. And that's why I like Haderus.

Is your Azura's special? Does it demand I reroll immediately to help the cause? I have played only DC for two years, and that's not about to change. I currently play predominantly in Haderus, where DC is the underdog.

But I'll tell you a little story. When Azura's was first made no-CP, it was a yellow server for the first week. No one else bothered with it, so I brought my group of 5 or 6 in, and we pushed the yellow 20+ back. I swear they were all snipers...lol not an organized group by any means, but a lot of them! You see, I really hate the CP system, and it irked me that the no-CP campaign was zerged down, discouraging players from trying it. We took DC's home keeps one evening, lost them overnight, pushed over the emp ring the next evening, and continued to hold on to our third of the map ongoing after that in an attempt to balance the map and make it healthy. Eventually EHJ moved in and tipped the scales too heavily in DC's favor, so we left. But for those first couple weeks, it was my half dozen or so Legion XIII guys plus a handful of pugs assaulting keeps against 3x numbers or more of AD. I was the first outnumbered party to take initiative and fight in the current no-CP Azura's campaign, and my group (with the help of a steadily growing and encouraged DC pug population) laid the early groundwork for making the server competitive and fun for all three factions. EHJ did a wonderful job of maintaining that, even rolling EP at one point from what I heard.

AD still continued to be the numerous faction for some amount of time. Not sure how long that lasted exactly. My guys and I did come back to push around TM's emp groups a couple of times, with one particularly nasty night on the bridge even recorded on my YT. Eventually Braidas started wrecking the map, though, and that Japanese DC guild moved in. It's been a DC campaign since then, so I have kept my distance.

I play only DC, but I make a point to fight only where I'm outnumbered and get to pull my full weight. I also go out of my way to try to foster balanced populations.

What happened when my group queued into Had last night while EP and AD zergs were pushing prime time emps? We repelled EP with something like 4:1 odds (taking DC pugs into account) in a long double defense on Roe's back flag, eventually pushing keeps until EP was off the emp ring and AD only had Alessia and BRK and were getting farmed wherever they poked out. EP ended up leaving the server, and I realized my friend was pushing emp on AD. What happened when I left with my 5 guys to go farm Dominion Knights in TF? An immediate AD emp in Haderus, followed by an immediate dethrone and EP emp. Not sure if the EP held his.

I tell you all this to fill in your picture of myself and my group because you seem to have become jaded against me. Can't tell why.

I remember seeing that DC assault on Bleaker's happening on the map! It was about the same time as AD's attack on Ales, right? My group was down by BRK/Chalman at the time, hesitant to merge back in with whatever DC was up to. This was happening right before we left the server for the night. It looked like AD ended up being successful at Ales, and eventually with Ans' emp push, though. Glad you had fun! :joy:

The population graph showed DC at one bar lower than the other factions, but we must've been close to that next bar. Balance wasn't too bad last night.

Must have been a different Bleakers fight. I was on AD last night after Ansley was dethroned; we took Bleakers from DC ~10pm Central, held off one assault and then got overwhelmed. On a good night we probably could have held, but we were being goofy. Just because magicka DKs are good in groups doesn't mean 6 of them make a super group. :D

I left shortly after; I don't know if EP managed to crown emp late night or not (sounds like they did) but DC had emp this morning. 3 emps in one day is the bad side of Haderus.

We've occasionally talked about running DC groups, but the balance situation seems to be resolving itself. Besides, DC is always more fun to fight. I just don't want to poke DC too often and risk demoralizing the few blue PUGs. If we go mess around at Glade lumbermill eventually a bunch of people show up and try to actually take the keep. :/

I tried. Honestly. I went into zone chat and there was like, one other guy. We took a home resource back for the hell of it and 16 EP showed up.

*** that. I'd rather put up with the TF lag. I'll play Haderus on a weekend prime-time but that's about it. The campaign is dead off hours, and loaded with zerging potatoes.
