If something like that was really happening then more people would be complaining about it. I have seen nothing of the sort at all.

Ya, some were speculating that the CE set got an update recently or something. shrug. Who knows. I just know I can't heal/bubble through any red circles at all as of the last patch.

Because ESO has NEEEVEERRR had any problems, bugs, imbalances, quirky things that happen right after a patch, etc. Always a L2P issue. LOL So insightful man.

Listen. I'm trying to figure out what is going on. I know folks in our guilds have been mentioning they've noticed a difference. It's either something with fire damage, resistances or penetration for certain things that changed right after the patch. There is literally no difference in survivability between the light (divines) build and heavy (impen). That nobody is posting on it yet doesn't really mean much, especially if it's just a CE issue where we're running into the same chaps alot. It's also one of those kind of things that people tend to be quiet about until they can put their finger on what the **** they are seeing, and frankly not even the majority of players give a care to these forums.

Seriously. You guys that are so dismissive of such things such as Bugs, unintended outcomes of patches or CE have no legs to stand on. There's just too much evidence of such things. At least someone being intellectually honest might ask questions rather than start out trolling. You know, like, "Are you a vampire?" Is your gear gold, blue, purple? Etc. I am not a vampire btw. Race Breton.

I'm not even saying it's any of the above. I don't know, but I think it bears looking into or keeping an eye on. I and our guild are adjusting as best we can, for instance we started using more Calthrops to slow people down and give us more time to react.

Update: So far as of yesterday didn't have the same experience that I can recall in any skirmishes. I'm thinking it was either a CE issue, isolated to the players we encountered OR it is something we hadn't seen before within a build such as a very clever poison. (time to start experimenting with more poisons) :-)

Listen, I know posts in these forums go overboard with the whine factor. I've been reading them for several years and, no doubt there is a L2P factor in some of them. Alot of them. This isn't that. It's merely an inquiry into something very different than what we had seen before with regard to the way we were taking damage, and I wanted feedback. We don't know what others are experiencing outside of our group until we discuss it with others. I just wish the forums weren't so ******** contentious sometimes. It's not a wonder why so many players don't use it other than to read patch notes.

Our mostly magika pvp group is experimenting with using light armor instead of heavy. So when you see us coming at you ... RUN.

Yup. The thing with what I was seeing is it was happening even with just one person it was way different that being "bombed." With the bombing you just evaporate into a ball of mist, suddenly. With this it was very steady but fast. I could usually heal/bubble through most DOT (red circles) if it was just one or two previously. It was just not possible. It wasn't a ton of damage per tick, it was just unavoidable. Which is why we were all scratching our heads saying WT*? There's lot's of abilities and sets and poisons that defuff healing and even increases to damage to shielded players in the CP system so it's not beyond the realm of possibilities some have hit on a very effective build.

Going to be keeping an eye on it and if it's legit going to try and replicate it cuz it's OP as ****. In the meantime we've altered our tactics to incorporate more use of cathrops which has helped alot. Additionally, what is encouraging, as I mention above, yesterday I saw none of the weird melting I described.

I took my DK tank build into pvp the other night full heavy gear 3600 critical 24k+ around 32k full buffed spell and physical and tanked 20 ppl so nothing wrong on my end Xbox NA also
