That's your opinion. For me, it is. Especially when considering that I travel to Grahtwood regularly (Elden Root) to do shopping. When choosing to leave the island by boat, you're ported to a coast of Grahtwood. To be specific, right where the Torug's Pact set is. Thus leaving you not too far off from Elden Root. Or, you can simply take the wayshrine that's in that region to go where you choose.

Agreed - the only lack to the location is haven not having a guild cluster and an extra door to haven proper though not to the wayshrine. IMO the best option for Grahtwood housing - all things considered.

Very true. If only that guild trading cluster was only closer. But then again, I am sure that if that were to occur, it would take away from Elden Root being the hub it is liked for.
@STEVIL Tell me something, comrade... Do you think it'd be a bit 'extreme' incorporating water park-like features to the island? I don't know if you've purchased the island property as well, but if you did then I'm curious if you're getting the whole resort vibe that I'm getting. And there's a LOT of areas of opportunity there. As is, I will be adding a few diving boards as well. So, what are your thoughts?
So far my island will have: An arena/dojo, crafting hub, dining hall, guild hall, main house, training area #1, training area #2, shrine/temple area, and beachfront for tanning and yoga (lol I'm serious). And even then, that won't even cover the vast majority of the island. So I'm thinking of adding water park elements.

resort vibe - oh yeah.
there are so many options with all that space.
constructing "beach bungaloes" to add to the "rooms" seems fairly obvious and easily done barring resource constraints.
my treehouses and rope-ladder to the top of the waterfall fit right in with that.
basically so much useful space the possibilities are wide open.
