I wouldn't be surprised if they go beyond streamlining the codes behind some of the CP calculations and actually change some of the CP passives, but agreed it's highly unlikely that they'd just remove CPs from PVP entirely.hmsdragonfly wrote: »

What's the point in having cp if you can't use them. We already have a no cp campaign if they truly just wanted to test it, they would have made azura double ap only and left everything as is.
Also why even test removing cp of it wasn't a possibility to make it permanent. Not saying it will happen, but to act like it's not a possibility is close minded.
Because it is a fact that Azura is less laggy than TF even when the campaign is pop-locked. Yes, Azura is pop-locked on PC-EU on prime time. And no, if it is proven that CP is the main reason to cause lag, they will take a look at all those codes behind the CP system, streamline and rewrite them so everything can become smoother.

You cannot add a system into the game and later remove it. So I highly doubt ZOS will ever remove cp points. It's a part of the game now.

So you're saying ZoS should keep CP the way it is cus you can be in heavy armour and deal a ton of damage? Idek, if you ask me - choosing between sustain or damage is the way to go imo. Adds some skill into balancing your resources, too. I like it.

I'm actually a mag sorc in light armor with 0 impen who mostly solo. And honestly, I do rely on my points in bastion, arcanist and cost reduction. I haven't tested it out today yet, but I can just imagine how much my skills will cost now. Now I definitely feel forced to zerg O_O

I know a lotof Sorcs that can fight on Azura in a 1vX pretty well. Idek what you're doing, but they seem to do fine.

Their builds are probably focused on sustain. Mine isn't. Can't expect everyone to enjoy campaigns like Azura. CP adds a lot to build variety to the game. But good thing, this is only for a week.

They're focused on sustain but can still output a lot of damage. on Azura you don't run into reactive maluplars or 50k HP tanky DKs, cus it simply won't pay off. Having no CP means taking away the insane tanky useless guys and the full-damage bobs.

Many people seem to forget that they took much power off us with the introduction of the CP system. Stats without CPs nowadays are lower than they were before the introduction of CP.
You clearly have no experience in software testing and development if you're saying that. It's to gather baseline data for all campaigns across the board so that they can make incremental changes for future tests and compare the data from those tests to the data from the baseline test in order to track down what's truly causing the issues. Once the biggest culprits have been identified then they can dig into the code for those culprits to determine what's the root cause, and implement a fix.
