Nah it's not, it's a super expensive ulti AND it gives targets a warning, it balances out nicely.

It was a critical hit, so I don't think it's too powerful. Honestly I think they need to make it instant for it to compete with DBoS right now.

This^ along with the fact that DBoS can be animation cancelled... mage comet is stupid easy to defend, it puts a warning circle on your feet or on others near you.... simply move if its not on you, or block/pop defenseives if it is and then casually walk away... that's pretty far from OP if you ask me.

Well as your a sorc he should of blocked to be honest.

Also was he a vamp? Vamp is 25% extra damage.

And it was a crit on a very high damage build 52k magicka with dw is over 3k spell damage.

Crit meteor on a light armor vamp who doesn't wear full impen, and you only hit 20k? For shame.

For better results, try rolling stam and running Dawnbreaker. I hear it's all the rage now.

Snipe is a bigger issue than meteor to be honest.

I mean that *** hits me for 16K on average and i am in full impen with points in resistant. doesn't help that is stuns too.

On PvE build in PvP ofc it's hitting hard,but as someone already said Snipe it's a bigger issue because I've seen people getting hit by 18k in heavy armor and full impenetrable.

And all the alliance buffs contribute to it's damage and I guess only Aggressive Warhorn was missing.

For a player to hit with an 18k snipe in full impen they have be going with no impen. They are not going to do that to a good group either. The heavy armor tanks are bad enough without it.

Meteor is fine, it has a telegraph and can be blocked. You can get around the block but you have to time it right.

According to combat log You empowered it with degeneration. 20% more dmg buff cannot be missed if You say something is too OP.

no it's not. dawnbreaker is a far better ult because of how fast it is which makes it so unless you're lucky you're not blocking it.

It's so stupid, how theze days people can take a metor without blocking ?

Only Mag dk can put a metor with 100% hit.

I can tell you : Meteor is one of the USELESS ultimate from the game in PvP.

I only use it for the mage guild passives in my main bar.

I think it's just fine, but I wish more people would try to move away from others when they see it targeting them. You've got enough time to at least dodge roll away and get your block back up.

Tooltip on Ice Comet is higher, but if someone is a vampire (more than half of Cyrodiil) they're taking an 25% damage since Shooting Star is fire damage. I also like the ult gen on Shooting Star since I use Overload on my back bar as a utility 3rd bar.

I think everyone in this thread is missing the point. Read the name of who was killed in the log (well it's blacked out now but it's a very controversial sorc). Tam is just shitposting and trolling rn lol and everyone is up in arms about DBoS vs Meteor and other crap.
