You should get a 15 day ban followed by a complete wipe of gold, gear and mats in bank and characters for exploiting an obviously unintended glitch.
so your saying people should be banned for taking advantage of a developer-created glitch?, it's very common in games to get loot drops that are of a much higher level than the player.
Yup, it should absolutely result in a temporary ban (somewhere in the ballpark of one-week sounds about right). Anyone with any knowledge of the game knows this is an unintended mechanic and know full well they are exploiting the instance. Yes, ZOS coding is permitting the exploit...but by the very nature of exploits, they are loop holes in the code that permits a certain action. Thus they differ from hacks. None-the-less, exploits are never permitted. And if ZOS had half a backbone, they would take their game administration more seriously and punish players for this BS and roll back accounts to remove ill-gotten gains. Most other MMOs would do so in a heart beat. ZOS really needs some negative publicity to light a fire under their arse to encourage the same. That all said, even if ZOS is responsible for the coding, everyone here is responsible for their own actions. If you are exploiting this, I sincerely hope it results in a ban. Period~

other mmos are a world different in both rng AND bug fixing. zenimax allows bugd to continue past release to, years later ehe==where those other mmos you talk about don;t habe those issues.

Doesn't make taking advantage of exploits ok. You are spending a lot of time justifying this. Do as you will...you have no respect from me. I hope they ban ya. End of discussions really.

But it's not intended in TESO to get loot, which has a higher level than the mobs. Just look at the patch-notes-part i cited in here.
Oh, btw...all bugs, glitches, possibilities to cheat are created by ZOS, is it now allowed to take full advantage of them?
from 2 years ago? yeah okay.

There hasn't changed anything since two years regarding dungeon scaling. If you use a an exploit once it's more like a bug which happened to you. If you use it multiple times to get an advantage over others (gold, loot, pvp-kills/points and so on) it's exploiting and should result in a bann.
People got already banned for exploiting into keeps.
Malubeth? You know a way, to increase malubeth heals to an absurd value by intend(no, it doesn't heal 10k+ every time)? You should tell it ZOS.
Slotting shuffle does nothing, even activating it doesn't trigger any bugs.
Target dummy didn't provide you any gold, materials or whatever so i wouldn't call anyone to be banned for this.

lmfao idfc about gold or materials. it's just a faster way to deal with this hateful frackin rng on nontradable drops that ALWAYS drop in prosperous.

Well put. Look at threads on vICP pledge. People been scaling that since day 1 and still getting v16 kena shoulders for no effort at all. Also this would have come about by total innocence and just been discovered. Should they be banned for continuing on with it or should they have stepped back and gone not intended so we can't play anymore.

The use of exploits is forbidden by the TOS, just fyi...
You have also agreed to the TOS, they also say, that ZOS can ban your acc for violaing against the TOS.
Nothing to discuss here...

Oh...gettin CP160-shoulders from even nonvet-dailys is no problem. This is working as intended. It would be a problem if you get monsterhelmets from CP10-endboss in CP160.

Nothing in the TOS mentions what is or isn't defined as an exploit.
your average gamer will not read the TOS or any EULA they will just click accept to get on with the game, most of the player base probably don't even use the forums either so they won't know what is or isn't a glitch.

Is it realllly an exploit? Cuz I've heard it ain't just sanctum that you can do this on btw.
I think zenimax does u official things like this. The sewers were to get ppl to buy sewer dlc and level cuz it's too tempting. And it was right before the db dlc that allowed a level 50 to become v16 if you had champ points. Not a coincidence.
People complain so much about rng and some quit playing over it. Now the hardest content is mysteriously playable, making some rare stuff attainable to many, and I bet this inspires people to play cuz 'well hey I don't have that helmet I wanted but this infallible aether set is pretty darn cool. I wanna play more eso with my awesome set !'
And a thread about it and no word? Yeah, they are letting it happen.
1. yes
2. they said it's a game mechanic and everyone is free to use it
3. yes, no enemy is supposed to drop loot which is higher than the mobs level
4. sanctum isn't the hardest content, especially not normal sanctum, you can get everything from normal mode
5. should they appear in all threads and say: don't exploit? you admitted to the TOS and it says: you are not allowed to use exploits. Nothing to add there

How can they ban somebody for this?
For running a dungeon at lower level and the game is dropping loot to your level?
People have been easy moding (making the leader a low level) the daily vet and getting a gold key for a long time now, they should be banned too right?
I think ye should just get over it, none of it will matter in a month anyway. The same as the banker exploit, nobody cares anymore.

Ok so with other words here: People, and this thread, are saying you can scale down veteran sanctum and get the max level loot. Is this true? Im asking because there have been rumors about same stuff before.
... And if its true, why havent zos comment on it yet, is my question.
