Do you want non- IC DLC owners to have alternative Gold Pledge than ICP/WGT?

as you can see, non- IC DLC owners cant do the Gold Pledge 2 times a week
no Imperial City Prison

NO ALTERNATIVE PLEDGE
this poll about making the players who bought the game to have daily pledges all the days.
forcing people to buy DLC to have full access to daily pledges pisses people off and make them quit
just like non-scaling the trials and dungens drops to v16 made 80% of end PvErs quit
**atleast make the exclusive DLC pledges not appear at weekends where most players are online to not do a pledge they dont have access to

Although I wouldn't have used your terminology- I think your argument is moot as I know many people won't do the daily if it's ICP even if they own the DLC as they perceive it to be too hard, often the case with WGT too. So even people who have purchased the content miss out on one and sometimes two dailies also. By that token they could argue for nerfing it, so they don't miss out on doing dailies every day. I think people's sense of entitlement is rather skewed, if you want to do the content buy the DLC.

I'd be happy if those two were excluded from everybody's pledge schedule. The difficulty, especially with ICP, is way out of line compared to other dungeons. For 95%+ of the population, it's just a writeoff where they do something else instead. So while I agree they shouldn't be included, it's for completely different reasons. This may become MUCH more of an issue when the new random queue and rewards come into play. You'll have groups forming then disbanding immediately due to the difficulty divide.

Also, you will be able to buy Monster helms and shoulders with gold and AP, nobody will be doing pledges, so why do you even care?

    Gold keys will become worthless.

i vote yes becouse i do not understand why original content was removed (spell crit from Night mother gaze and willow set) to fit in the dlc juliano's set.
if zos are going to be so patetic has to preventivate people leaving, otherwise need to give a proper alternative.

I have all DLC's, but I have to agree that they should either hand out an alternative quest, or hand out a token so someone even without the DLC, is able to do a pledge that has a DLC dungeon that day.

People have to remember that, even someone that does not have a certain DLC, is creating content for other people that have a DLC as-well. (groups) Not only that, they would get a preview of what is in the DLC and perhaps even buy it, so they can run it more often.

As for the one time limit, you would have to be very selective who you go with, 1 port out and your limit would be up.

As long as this game is Buy To Play, then the current basegame should contain content open for everyone.

Instead of offering 2 goldkeys for 1 dungeon run per vICP and vWGT pledge, they could make 2 goldpledges - one for everyone and one additional for IC players. This way, everyone can be happy and do a pledge on those days.

no pugs would take up with IC dungeons if it wasnt for 2 keys. even now i dont know many pugs that ever completed vICP.
So 2 keys for IC dungeons is totally legit.

On the other hand i dont think you can seperate IC buyers and non buyer by offering them 2 different dungeons, cos some IC buyers will still want to do the non IC dungeon instead.

Every DLC has to have a selling point.

The reason for most people to buy a DLC is never a cool looking area or a nice new questline.
    It is repeatable content.

IC's only repeatable content for PvE demographic are those two dungeons.

I don't see the reasoning other than tossing them a bone. This reminds me of destiny all over again. With every dlc there would be weekly strikes that were from the dlc but the people who didn't pay for them just didn't get to play them for that week. Then when they would appear back in rotation, they would be locked out again.

D editing never changed their policy (at least while I played) and I think ESO should stick with what they have going on.

Simply put, if you want the content, cough up the damn cash.

Why do you feel entitled to pledges? This is a MMO; new content is added on a regular basis. If you're not buying the new content, then what you have is an increasingly incomplete game. That's just how buy-to-play works in a MMO. It's either that, or a subscription model.

Plus, it seems strange to worry about two days of vet pledges every 10-day cycle when you're missing out on so much more by not having vWGT/vICP: it's the only challenging 4-man content in the game and there's some pretty good gear there. And if you don't care about any of that, then why would you care about a few gold keys anyway?

I own IC but I feel like others should have some way to get stuff. We already got more quests, dungs, soul shards and other good stuff. Non owners IMO shouldn't feel like they are falling behind. (I am not doing pledges atm so I don't know how impactfull they are, but I do feel all players should be able to play and not fall behind more than we do today)

i do not mind to play dlc content for free, i mind that content that i payed for are not moved to dlc obligating you to buy it.
last year i've craft night mother gaze and willow's path for their spell crit in every single my alt.
once i come back from a break, all that spell crit stats where removed from that sets and put into the dlc juliano's set.

you must understand that this kind of bu*****it are not going to pass barely visible, infact i will not put any one more cent into this game, just because of this, and i must say that i really enjoy the game now, because is not anymore crowded like the time i left, when was impossible to play for lags.

Man, what lengths some people would not go just to have 2 more gold keys.

    GOLD KEYS.

A slim chance for a desired shoulder piece.

    SHOULDER PIECE.

One (1) part of a set that will be available for instant purchase.

If you don't care that much about keys or Monster sets, and just want to have a veteran dungeon to play every day: my apologies.

Doing dailies is not mandatory for character progression, so missing two gold keys a week isn't holding anybody back

I also worry that the programming logic to assess a players DLC access before giving a quest, is more than Zeni can competently tackle.

Maybe instead they can always give an alternative to IC pledges, and players could pick which one they want. This would please both people with out the DLC, and people who would rather contract salmonella then ever run ICP again

anyway is not productive for the game company limitate the zone in a mmo open world: there will be soon desolated area and crowded ones having a very bad impact in different way: server resources, failure in social beahviour (grouping) and many many other thing...
dlc should be propose in a different way, like the crown store do: personal content, housing, crafting service (unlock traits and free crafting mats)... the game is already gone pay to win, so at least the efford should be put in try to keep playing the maximum number of userrs. seems that this is not going to happend.

Because it's the only way to get SPC, scathing mage (epic and yes it does work) or combat Physician. This logic will make life a lot harder for healers if they think to stay away from these 2 dungeons. These are the 2 must have sets for trials, one healer has one and then the other, mass power and shielding = wins.
But yes if someone wants to wait over a year for a perfect drop then go for it ignore the pledge and wait it out. Not like in 365 keys you stand a poor chance.

I have no idea what you just said.

    This thread is about pledges.

I know about SPC and Combat Physician but those have nothing to do with the topic of pledges.
Those that bought IC have no reason not to do WGT or ICP pledges.

This topic is about people that don't have IC and don't want to buy it - therefore they miss out on two pledges.
And those people have no shot on those sets you mentioned. Their loss.

The problem here is the fact they are given out as undaunted quests it effects the base game and those who only have the base game, Its not that bad now with only 2 DLC pledges but what about in the future, what happens if DLC pledges outnumber base game pledges? what happens of you can't do a single pledge the entire week because every pledge is in a DLC located area?

And more: I think, even the IC-owners deserve another pledge, so take out the ICP and WGT pledges of the system. Let us, owners have a chance to earn a gold key every day, because this is quite impossible for me now, to deal with (L2P, I know :P) :)

This is just a suggestion ofc, and nothing happens for me if the system stays as it is now :)

If you want the content, you have to pay for it. If the pledge is in the content and you didn't buy it, you are sol. It is your decision not to buy the content, so you are the one who has blocked yourself.

Besides, you can buy the stuff with gold /ap after the next DLC.
