Sorry OP, your tale is hilarious however but sorry I do not see why Zeni should make progression viable for a awe inspiring character as yourself.

It is very easy to progress on that quest, if you have no bounty, the quest is based in the city, where law is always gonna be, as others have said, go PvP for a while, the accrued bounty does go down....

Although in your case, it might take a century hehe.

But I do have to agree with the others, if you cannot handle the time, then do not do the crime.

I keep thinking this is a troll post, simply because it's kinda ridiculous.

It's like going around killing hundreds of people IRL and expecting to still be able to buy and sell in major cities without harassment

the fact that you were obviously getting caught for it and yet you still kept killing/stealing just reeks of someone wanting break the system.

I can see everyone can have there's laughs but i do not find it funny i purchased a dlc and can not play what i purchased

How...I just...4 mil REALLY??? How do you even manage that?! I went on a kill spree yesterday bc the jerk wouldn't hand over his stuff. Got 6k bounty. Of course I was a sneaky vamp, so there is that. Do you actively spend all your time only killing noc's?

Here's an idea, but OP won't like it any better:
Have a jail time crime function like Skyrim.
Instead of paying bounty, you can sit in jail.
Don't know how to have it work though.

1 .Either lose experience or a level or a skyshard?
(This would be hard to program, though, so option two is better:)

2. Or have your character inaccessable for a period of time?
(The wait being shorter than waiting for bounty to go down.)
(So if it takes 2 months for bounty to go down, jail time equivalent is 1 week)
(Forces you to play on an alt, but is a faster way to get bounty gone, eh?)

I understand the risk of guards killing me but this has never been a problem completing quest with a bounty anywhere else so it's not intended to stop players with a bounty from completing this quest it's a bug that needs fixed

If i've been able to complete every quest in the game with a bounty even the one's where you talk to a merchant to complete why isn't this one the same way it's bugged

the game already features to little of this in my opinion.
to the OP you probably exploited the *** out of something and thats why yo have 4 mil bounty atm.
a normal player wouldn
t get as a high bounty

I didn't create this post to get trolled i created it so others with the same problem won't have to deal with it also cause it is not suppose to happen if it was suppose to stop you from completing this quest i would understand but it isn't needs a fix

I prefer option one, but not losing skyshards. It should level down your skills a random amount depending on the bounty you have. There would also be a rare chance to gain levels in Legerdemain from prison time as well

Note: all of my above is a cut/paste from Oblivion/Skyrim (I don't know the mechanic in MW)

you actually can play the dlc. area is still free.
you can reroll another character cause that toon you broke YOURSELF.

No i did not you can accumulate such a bounty just by killing any normal spawning npcs

No i did not you can accumulate such a bounty just by killing any normal spawning npcs

Youre also in a very small minority here. Most people rack up a bounty trying to avoid getting it in the first place. Unless theyre going for the Achievement. They almost always stop racking up the bounty once it starts to get too expensive to pay off. Why should Zenimax go out of their way to fix something for little ole you when the vast majority will never ever rack up that much bounty EVER over the lifetime of their gameplay?

Or if it is a bug, then just put in a bug report. Let us know what happens.
