This is funny. A great part of the game having a bounty preventing interacting with merchants. Guess someone needs to work off that bounty.

While they're at it, they might want to check the guard mechanics in Orsinium as they appear broken. I have a guild mate who leads a life of crime in game. He gets stopped constantly in Orsinium and just exits out of the conversation. No chasing, no insta-death from the guards, nothing. It's to the point where he doesn't even sneak through town any longer.

Welcome to actual consequences for your actions and I for one hope ZOS leaves it in. You can either pay your bounty, or you can wait for the bounty to naturally degrade on its own.

Bounty comes out of your bank. Only gone if you have 4m in your bank, after which you are skint.

No need to try and figure away around it they admitted it was a bug and it's going to be fixed eventually plus i've been killed countless times by a guard and my bounty still remains afterwards you must have 4 million on you when a guard kills you in order for it to go away

I noticed this after the patch as well. As a Sorc, I've never snuck around with a bounty because I can just streak streak streak away to safety. But it's nice when the guards stop you and then don't even talk to you.

Or at least if it works the same way as when guards kill you, all of his money on him for reducing his bounty slightly.

So let me get this right...

You managed to rack up a 4 million gold bounty. Stealing items and killing things. Now you want ZoS to let you interact with people in game that think doing business with you is a bad idea. This is exactly what the ledgerman skill line was created for. Wreak big benefits with big consequence. It's your own fault that you have a bounty this high. Multiple quests have players dealing with store owner NPCs that won't give you the time of day due to your bounty. This is absolutely intended.

I sure hope ZoS does nothing for you.

I don't understand why so many seem to not understand it was a bug not intended to stop people with a bounty from completing this quest people with a bounty are suppose to be able to complete quest even the ones that requires you to talk to a merchant to Finnish it hints why it's getting a fix no need to be hostile towards me when all i was doing was trying to get something fixed that wasn't suppose to happen in the first place

Despite it being stated as a bug I stand by my vantage point. Admittedly not all NPCs care where you stand with the law but some do and since you can be stopped from accessing merchants and the bank and such so should you be stopped from doing quests. I suppose to keep things fair though and prevent you from being unable to complete the main story/stories this should apply to side quests not relevant to any main story.

Bounties take about 9k a real day to fall off 4 mil gold may as well delete and reroll of resume in two years

No cause then we couldn't progress in the game might as well not play it if it was this way people with bounties need to also be able to complete quest

Tamriel needs loan sharks. You borrow the money... pay back a bit at a time. If you don't pay, they send goons after you to collect your knee caps. They kill you, over and over and over again. Each time you die at their hands your bounty goes down by a bit. Each time you kill them completely, it goes down a bit more.
