Played right, they are all pretty well balanced (almost). True, DK could use some love, but they are still very formidable.

I think all classes right now are in pretty good spots.
HOWEVER, I think certain roles have been gimped to absolute oblivion. Tank, to be straightforward about it. Primary role for DK, secondary role for Templar. This role has been hammered so incredibly bad that it's almost not even worth it. I can go into game and type V16 Tank LFG and get a group within 5 seconds.

Pvp bro...mag DK is broke.

While they certainly aren't very good at all, I wouldn't say they are broken. They are mostly gimped versus certain abilities which overperform (cloak, cleansing ritual, purge, sorc shields).

No vote option really reflects my opinion. I think both DK and ti a lesser extent Templar need to be updated. I don't so much find them underpowered as I find them out of date.

I can see your point with that. Yes magic DK are definitely gimped.

Interesting. I would be interested in some elaboration upon this point if you don't mind. I sort of agree, but would like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

DK was originally designed with dynamic ulimate generation and hybrid builds in mind, but was never fully updated after the removal of softcaps and dynamic ult gen. So I think it's about bringing it up to date with the current state of the game.
For example NB and Magicka Sorc have a lot of overall loadout synergy within their skill kits. DK lacks that overall cohesion (outside of Magicka DK in PVE).
So it's not just about being underpowered and needing larger numbers on skills. It's about giving a more meshed set of skill choices that complement each other.

Good point. The move from softcaps to no-softcaps/static Ult gen really did impact DKs more than other classes. I would love to see their skills and passives reworked accordingly to bring them up-to-date. I feel that Templars are in a good spot right now, though. They are not nearly as impacted by the changes.

Templars are certainly in a better place, but they are middle ground between DK and the rest. Bumping DK up would make them the new bottom. I think rather then just let them stand at that point, it's better to elevate them slightly as well and sure up areas they lack in. Somewhere between molbility, damage mitigation and at more direct CC.
This poll doesn't really work since cp can effectively make any class good if you have enough of it.
