One thing I didn't like about the PC version, is it took 80g of space. My computer can't handle storage for another game.

True with even SSD's pushing into the TB size 80 gig is nothing in storage terms.

Console requires no adjustments, you don't have to overclock to get it to perform, maintenance is a breeze, you don't have to go online and search or spend hours trying to get it to do what it should be doing.

Console gives you support if anything goes wrong with installs etc whereas the PC you have to pay for the support.

Console drives the MMO developers to do better because the players have a higher expectation of quality, no funny business.

Console has built in audio support both in and out of the game that's also plug and play.

Console makers also control a bit of what goes into the game, there are certain rules that publishers have to follow in the development process, as part of the contract improving overall quality and time to fix bugs, pc publishers tend to be lazy and often will never fix certain known bugs that go one for years at a time.

Accessories are plug and play no drivers updates for controllers are wireless now.

Consoles don't get viruses or malware interfering with system performance.

Consoles Improve their ui which also improves the gameplay and interaction with other players, this doesn't happen on OS based computers as quickly.

Consoles have a two step code of conduct system. The first one is what the game publisher expects of the community. The second is what the console developer expects of the community which makes conflicts happen less often or ends them quickly whereas PC players only have one and it might not even be enforced.

Consoles have two build in audio support and apps that you can use with your phones/tablets with bluetooth keyboards for anything that you might rarely have to type.

Two types of audio communication in and out of game, seriously who types anymore when playing spssht isn't this 2015?

Addons have to be the number one reason.

Want to save yourself the hassle of scrolling through pages and pages of stuff at guild stores just to find one item? - Awesome Guild Store

Want to open your inventory and find what you are looking for without scrolling through your entire 200 item bag? - Advanced Filters

When did I feed my horse? Should I head back to town?
Hmm this trait, do I know it? Do I really have to go to a blacksmithing station to find that out? Does my alt know it?
Am I done researching that trait I started a few days ago?
    addons
    addons
    addons

And these are just good inventory/basic UI addons, not even mentioning combat addons.

Addons are the sole reason we were able to find the 2 biggest bugs on PTS right now, the half damage and too much resource cost bugs. Without addons it would have just been a "feeling" that things were "too hard".

Don't forget the chat add ons. I couldn't function without pchat and FCO Chat Tab Brain.

Azurah lets you arrange the UI hud to suit your taste.

So many great add ons. Many make the features just function the way it should have been at the start.

Just was curious if eso is even worth playing on console. And if not reasons why? So can someone let me know the differences between console version? And pc version. I heard console players get treated bad compared to pc players.

I have both PC (ASUS G series laptop) and an Xbox One

    Visually
-For my current situation, the PC far outshines the xbox one version for a few reasons. Some jump to the PC is more powerful but that may not apply to everyone. What does apply are the settings offered on PC that are not offered on consoles. You can resize the UI, the UI is completely different and has little flashes, tweaks, glimmers and sparkles that do push this version ahead.

-If the graphics card is better, then you also benefit from draw distances and noticeable increases in lighting affects.

    GamePlay
-To me the console version balances out here as every player on console is playing the game the exact same way. There are no add-ons or peripherals that will give one person an edge over another unless price is an issue.
-They both offer the exact same content and generally release within 2 weeks of PC.

    Bottom Line
-The console version is a great version for some while PC is a great version for others. The consoles offer benefits that PC does not and PC offers benefits that console does not.

Its best to do your own research of what will be a best fit for you and come back with specific questions

I have never played this game on the PC. Played on console since launch. Love the game. Very fun.

I have played MMO's with the PC and loved the addons, but after playing this game I do not miss them. It really comes down to personal preference. Each person is going to be different.

IMO although there are some annoying things on the console(Bugs that need addressed), the game is solid and plays very well and has been a great experience. I do not miss the ad-dons and really have been enjoying the no add-on experience. It really does give you some freedom that I believe is capped on the UI dominated numbers game that is the PC.

Played on both, and I by far prefer console. In my opinion it runs smoother, I hate being obligated to use add-ons, and I prefer the controller over the keyboard. Not to mention voice chat is a ton better than text chat in my opinion.

If you can do both I say try both because in the in end what's "better" is down to personal preference.

Okay this is completely incorrect, and I didn't want to go here but this comment merits it. When it comes to the community, The console community is way more mature, this isn't even debatable. I think I know the reason why though.

It's because on PC you communicate via text, and just like what you see on the forums, when someone is hiding behind a keyboard they tend to get a bit rude. Now I'm not saying this kind of behavior is absent from the console version but it is certainly less frequent.

    Please don't bother with Console.

I am a console player and I have to agree that ESO is way better on PC. I myself have never used add ons; I was never that hardcore into PC gaming, but would love to.

I feel like the console version is a little slimmed down compared to PC. When I first started playing ESO, that was my immediate reaction. I love the game, but it feels very minimal.

If I could afford it I would play PC, but can't. I would love to see an update for console, especially Xbox, that incorporates add ons.

Seems like the PC community is more friendly and helpful. While the console community, ESPECIALLY Xbox, is filled with greedy and rude players.

    Just my 2cents.

One thing I do not get is how people can say "Can not live/function without add ons". I must be one of the few old school gamers them because I have a seething hatred for add ons. I mean do we really need add ons to alert us when standing in fire or when a boss is going to do a huge attack? Last I checked this was common sense. Then you have add ons that tell you what is the best damage in the group or who is pulling more healing than another player or when you should or should not cast your spells. Can you really call it a game when you have some many add ons running that it is playing 50% of the game for you? For myself I enjoy the zero forgiveness games that throw you in the mix and let you figure the stuff out for yourself.

I don't know guess its just me. I grew up when games did not have add ons and you got by with your wit and will.

Combat addons don't play for you, that's a common misconception. Most of the features would be standard and default in any other MMORPG. The pop ups for 'Potion Ready', 'Ultimate Ready', and 'Execute Now' would be the typically type of addons, along with parsers. However even those are starting to surface as default features. Everything else such as effect timers, damage numbers, enemy health %, visible resource numbers are not hidden from players in most other games.

The truth is not that PC players are dependant on addons, but rather ZOS left half the info invisible while having the functions of multiple effects to manage, bosses with DPS check mechanics, and skills that react to health values still in game.
