Just Curious: Age demographic of ESO players

As I have been reading these forums for a few weeks now, I am curious as to the age demographics of who is playing this game. Interested in seeing if it skews older or younger than I think. Poll is anonymous. However, feel free comment with info on whether you are on PC/MAC or Console and NA or EU (just curious if there is a difference within those subgroups).

Also, leave any interesting about your start to gaming (first video game played, first gaming system etc.)

Me: 40 - 49 XB1, NA
First video game: Pong, First Gaming System: Atari 2600, First Computer: Timex SInclair (yes, Timex once made computers!)

29 here, I started eso on pc then transitioned to Xbox 1.

My first video game was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES.

I been a fan of TES ever since Morrowind (I played that on xbox)

With you Ace , 43 myself.

Dabbled with Neverwinter on AOL , UO and beta 3 on of EQ were my first real mmos. Never could get into meridian for some reason.

Radio Shack TSR first computer , Apple II E and commodore later on.

Nowadays play on PC still and dabble with PS4 at times.

Original EQ , Tribes , and Myth the Fallen Lords all time fav PC games.

Older than dirt!

IMSAI 8080 and Z80 based home brew machines running CP/M 80.
Later transferred my CP/M 80 coding to a Baby Blue card running in the first IBM PC with the 16K motherboard.

I am on NA on PC and am 45. It is funny that my first video game was also Pong. I also first had the Atari 2600 and even the Atari 5200. My first computer was also the Timex Sinclair. I remember the excitement when I got the memory upgrade that took it from 1K to 16K. LOL. My how times have changed! I then moved on to Commodore 64 and 128.

By high school I had lost interest in gaming and never played another video game until Fallout 3 caught my attention because I live in the Washington DC are and the promos with the setting caught my attention. I then got hooked and had to buy a real gaming PC as my Dell just did not handle FO3 well at all. I spent many hundreds of hours on FO3, Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim. I also played many other games at varying levels thanks to Steam sales, but the only two that I have played for extensive amounts or to full completion is Portal 1 and 2 and Talons Principle. I love the puzzle solving in all three. ESO is my first MMO and I am still working to be more of a group player instead of solo, but my available play time is so unpredictable.

On PC NA server it seems like the demographic is older than what I would typically expect for most games. I'm pretty sure the majority of folks in my main guild are over 30, and I know for a fact that there are quite a few over 40, over 50, and at least a few old enough to be retired.

I started with a Commodore VIC20, and an Intellivision.

I still have the Intellivision because I got really good at repairing it. I fired up my Apple II last year after 20 years in storage because I wanted to go back and look at the programs I made for it. Sadly some of the disks were unreadable.

First home computer thing i remember playing was an orange Binatone pong machine.

Then Sinclair ZX81, Sprectrum 48, 48+, Commodore 64, Amiga 500, 600, 1200, Sega Dreamcast, then numerous PCs

I've been playing MMOs since UO Europa was released. This is my first console MMO other than Destiny but wouldn't really count that as an MMO.

Just turned 32.

I've always been a Linux gamer (been using it almost exclusively since my early teens), so I grew up playing MUDs, platformers consisting of penguins and battling with XF86 in attempt to run something better.
My first and pretty much my only MMO was Champions of Regnum, previously known as Regnum Online because of their native Linux client for 32 and 64 bit arch. Not a very good game really, but it was the best MMO at the time. Think DaoC with a P2W store and unbalanced classes. Being a huge TES fan (yes, these games work fine in Linux these days), when I heard ESO was to arrive I gave in and dual booted Windows. Haven't played anything else since xD

First game: Pong (dad is an electrical engineer - designs hardware - loves 'puters, hates software).

First computer: Timex (1 kb, but you could upgrade to 16)

Second computer: PC junior by IBM - and that puppy had upgrades and support for something like 8 years.

Yes I recall the days of BBSing.....

You might want to expand the age ranges; we have plenty of folks past 60, and at least two on here over 70

my first system hmmm.. can't remember what it was, but I remember the game I played.. PS1 was definitely one of the first consoles I remember getting though!

Im 27. First game was battle toads (something like that) on the NES.

I only use game systems, my family was never into being up to date with computers and i can't afford one capable of playing such games, so xbox for me
