    46,

Played the only real MMORPG ever released, Asherons Call.

I renewed my sub the other day, the character is over 20 years old.

The sad thing is i probably understand him better than my 7 year old daughter......

Started with Atari, Sega 8bit, Sega 16bit, ps1, then shifted to PC playing unreal tournament (plus all sequels), then Black hawk down and joint operations.

At some point, I bought Morrowind, build a new pc from scratch for that game and then ... LoL

I bought all the original titles (arena, daggerfall, ...), finally oblivion, skyrim and Teso.

Obviously, I missed like 100+ games but the point is I fell in love with ESO and that will never change. I love the enormous amount of hours I spent on buiilding an "atlantis mod" for Morrowind. I've met amazing people (and also annoying kids).

Looking forward very much to Teso for many years to cone as well as any single player title. I hope I will still have tome left to enjoy this universum.

    Cheers

First Game: Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (PS2), back in 2006. I remember I could never get past the second level and I got so angry haha. Still haven't done that level to date.
This is my 3rd MMO, after playing a bit on WoW and SWTOR.
PS. I should be probably doing more important things, like revising instead of playing games.

I'm 24, loved video games my whole life, dabbled in a few MMOs but never really got into them until now, been playing ES games since I was about 12 or something. I have played and finished them all (aside from daggerfall and arena, almost finished daggerfall though) with my favorites, not including ESO, in order being Morrowind/Oblivion, Daggerfall, Arena and then Skyrim. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed skyrim, a lot, but it was just too damn easy.

20 years old here, been playing MMOs since 2007 (Starting with WOW: TBC) and I have to say that ESO is right next to ArcheAge when it comes to being my favorites. I just feel like ESO has better balancing than AA whereas AA has more freedom in the open world. I'd rather play ESO though for sure :)

We played Pong on the TV in the den. We were only allowed to play in the evenings tho. We actually had to go Outside and play (you know, climb trees, build forts and stuff)
I did get an Atari at some point, Jungle Hunt was one of my favorites. Spent a lot of quarters in the Arcades and got Pac Man elbow ;) Anyone remember the first Laser Disc game, Dragon's Lair?
Somewhere in there was a regular D&D pnp group and I've always enjoyed board games.
Never had a PC until about the early 90's, but I haven't been without one since B)

I liked Space Ace better than Dragon's Lair. So much of my allowance and lunch money got spent on that game.

And I never imagined that, one day, I would have it on my phone. :D

I agree space ace was a lot better then dragons lair. I used to be able to play for hours on one quarter on robotron, no buttons just two joysticks, now that was a fun time.

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

49 year old female, PC, NA (although I do have a character on the EU). First game system was Pong, First computer was an Apple IIe. That was the last apple product I owned. Been a RPer since 79' and online since 1984. Started online RPing on muds in 1993. First MMO is ESO. My younger son introduced me to Oblivion when it came out (as my ex refused to let me get Arena and Daggerfall) and came here for the theme.

Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...

It feels kind of special if you feel like one of the youngsters at 40. I did start young, though, first computer an IBM clone with an 8088 CPU back in '84. Never did anything other than PC. First game: Sokoban. MMO late starter (WoW at release).

I was convinced that there's more younger people in this game for some reason. This got me on the wrong foot.

    36

Started with Quake I and Doom. Tried a different MMO's, but my favorite is EVE - so far. It can be tedious with the time investment though, and I have many obligations. So was switching to something that could be more casual to satisfy my virtual needs. Tamriel seems good so far.

Not exactly the depth we had in earlier games - lots of the stuff is oversimplified, but generally loving The Elder Scrolls thing, so I can be good with it.

Owned Atari, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64
First game: don't even remember, played bunch of games as kid
Most memorable completion: TES games since Arena, Warcraft series, Neverwinter, Diablo 1&2, All Fallout games, Halo Series, Assassins Creed Core Games(with Desmond), All GTA titles ( I would come up with some more probably :) )
MMO's played: WoW since launch, Lineage, Warhammer, Age Of Conan, World Of Tanks

Currently ESO on PC and everything else on XBOX One

But you forgot about whole bunch of kids below 18.

It ended up being a private project. My own private realm. I never released it into beta as I didn't find a dedicated team to keep supporting it after release.

Just to make you go nuts - I found a way to make "atlantis" lore friendly :-)))
