Well, based on those replying anyway it seems people over 30 far outweigh those replying who are under 30. Probably a good thing - playing computer games is such a sedentary thing... when I was under 30 I was way too busy with school, work and playing other things to sit still long enough for leveling anything, lol. First time I actually dedicated time from my life to gaming, I was 34.
I wonder what will, if anything (given the current state of the industry snd this genre in particular...) ever replace or surpass in popularity the seeking of computer/console as a source of entertainment. Seems already such an old modality, getting right up there with TV...and sometimes just as bland. What's in the future? VR?

I am 43 soon to be 44. I am a professional musician(I write commercial jingles) My first videogame system was Telstar and Pong I got them on the same day. My first computer was a Tandy. I like bright shiny objects and the color blue. I am an orphan so that means I get to step on as many cracks as I want and never have to worry about someone's spine so that's a positive. I was adopted by Mr. Warbucks when I was little but he used to make me call him "daddy" so that was weird. I would run around the mansion and people would randomly break into song and I would sometimes lead the songs so that was always cool. I have had many awesome jobs in my life including professional jouster and juggler but I never tried to do these to things at the same time. I believe in separation out jouster and juggler which is pretty much my religion. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask and I am an open book as I am writing a memoir. Some of these things I have said are 100% true and some have been embellished for legal reasons.

Ok, I'll bite.
Where the heck do you do Professional Jousting? (I consider professional to be paid or something) Medieval Times or someplace?

Very good questions. I worked at various Renn Faires in the US as a jouster. I also worked as a juggler at these same faires. It was a very rigid training period I went through to learn. I because a juggler because I didn't have insurance.
Well this was back in the early 90's and back then it was a pretty good paying job. I am sure it's not so great anymore lol
