34, XB NA. Been gaming since Atari 2600 then NES and almost every major console thereafter. My true gaming love however was a PC game, a MUD from the early 90s that is still running today, GemStone IV by Simutronics. Played for over a decade. The depth of the game, real time GM interventions and story lines, and strong community of role players kept me around for a long long time.Graphical MMOs were never really my thing, WoW was too cartoony compared to the rich imagined world of text, DAoC was popular but still too pixelated, but ESO strikes that balance between fantasy world and graphical fidelity to make it seem very much alive. I'm glad I waited for the 'next gen' MMO to dive in.

    Xbox One NA Ebonheart (always).

I'm a PC and Xbox Gamer.

My first console was the Atari 2600, first "PC" was the Commodore 64. Since then, I've always kept up with PC gaming, but really didn't get into console gaming until the NES. Since then, I've owned the Super NES, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Xbox, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and now the Xbox One (actually, I have two One's).

My rig is running an i7 w/double-stacked 8gb GTX Titans and 16gb RAM.

I'm fortunate to have married a wife who is also a Gamer, and she has really taken to ESO on the One. So, my Gaming hobby isn't an issue since she shares it with me. :D

48 years old. First gaming I did was on my brother's apple computer which I think was an Apple II. It had a tape drive and it took 20 mins or so to load Pole position. He even had the joystick with it so me and my sister could play.

Started on the NES playing Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt, and D&D on an Intellivision. Picked up an Atari a few years later along with a Sega Genesis. Never was one for PC gaming but have about 15 different consoles I still play from time to time. My N64 is still my favorite.

First online game was Quake 3 arena on my Sega Dreamcast. Don't miss my old dial up connection. This was one of the only games I got and played for years on a PC after I got high speed internet

I'd be curious to breakdown the 18-29 range a bit and see how big the college crowd is. Also starting at 18 eliminates the high school and younger crowd, which may be coming in more heavily now with console launch.

I suspect the poll started at 18 rather than younger because of the game being rated mature, so folks younger than that aren't supposed to be playing it. Although now that I think about it, doesn't that mean 17+ rather than 18+?

We played Pong on the TV in the den. We were only allowed to play in the evenings tho. We actually had to go Outside and play (you know, climb trees, build forts and stuff)
I did get an Atari at some point, Jungle Hunt was one of my favorites. Spent a lot of quarters in the Arcades and got Pac Man elbow ;) Anyone remember the first Laser Disc game, Dragon's Lair?
Somewhere in there was a regular D&D pnp group and I've always enjoyed board games.

I started it at 18 exactly for that reason. However, you are correct and I should have done 17+. I should have double-checked the ERSB rating guidelines.
