Seems to be that this very much used function is now been positioned to not so obvious place. It's under the settings wheel for some odd reason. Well guess the mods will be answering this question pretty many times still. Bad choice of placement imo.

Fonts on threads are a bit small. Love the new layout though. It's much easier to find a category now that I have only the English forums displayed. Shoulda done this long ago

@AshySamurai it's in the dropdown menu of Account Options (the gear). Seems like everything that went missing is in there:

How is it possible the entire forum has been revamped and yet the "Discussions" on my home page still says 33 but shows only 2? I have asked about this several times since beta and I never get an answer other than it's being looked into.

It seems "Adventure Zones" & "Trials/Raids" have been combined into one forum.

I believe they should be two separate entities, as they are two completely different experiences.

"Unanswered" shows posts in all languages. I don't know if it's supposed to be like this.

Is there a way to remove all drafts? I accumulated eleventy billion drafts over the months and it would take forever to delete them one by one. It doesn't bother me, I never go back to drafts anyway, but I'd like to know if it's possible.

I seem to have two notifications that I have been referred to in messages... but when I click on the text link given in either case I get a window saying that I don't have permission to do that...

...and when I manually checked the thread specified manually for evidence of the referring posts, I couldn't find them.

Erm, something tells me that this may not be working as intended.

I like the new layout except for the guild recruitment section. Unless I am not seeing it, I have to say I miss how one could look under threads for specific guild types: Role Play, PVE etc.

The World skills really need to have separate forums for each topic. Vampire, Werewolf, and Soul Magic should each have their own forum. With the new layout it is now harder to look for information pertaining to just one of the topics. I had suggested this many months ago, and I guess that suggestion was lost in the shuffle.

That happens if the post it was referring to was deleted by a moderator.

Today, the "Recent" view of the forum is suddenly not showing pinned threads at the top. Anyone else seeing this?

And, at least on my end, it is not even showing the threads, like this one, in the list. Hopefully this is someone messing around with the forum config, @ZOS_AlanG

Can we have CLASSES-Forums please, every, or, excuse me, as good as every other mmorpg has class-forums!

Under "Gameplay" simply introduce: "CLASSES" and then 4 subcategories

I posted a thread about this and apparently, there seems little to no concern considering the few responses so far.

Personally I have never understood why there were no class forums here from the get go. It makes little sense to have to comb through tons of sections to find discussions on information that is class focused.

@ZOS_AlanG is there a difference in content between EN and EN-GB, or does it just affect the display of the ESRB/PEGI ratings? Beforehand, there was only EN on the forums, with a choice between EN and EN (Intl) just on the main site. Thanks!

I like the new layout. Less buttons is sort of annoying, but at least we still have some left. Other MMO's seem to remove them completely.

If I'm not mistaken, it worked the same way on the old forum, but it still doesn't maky sense. When someone accepts my answer, I get the following notification:
X accepted Your answer.

"X" is a link leading to X's profile. "Your" is a link leading to my profile. Nowhere in that notification can I find a link to my post which was accepted as an answer, so I have no idea what thread we're even talking about.

Am I missing something or is there just no way to see it?

One of our philosophies for the forum restructure was minimizing the number of forums here. The previous structure was more granular, but many of these forums were not used. It was also common to find the content intended for these specific forums across several others. Part of the problem was the visual design, and the new "flattened" structure with all forums visible from the front is expected to help as well.

We're open to making further changes if there's a distinct need, especially for very active forums. However, we are not planning on having separate class discussion forums. This was something that was considered for this overhaul, but given that most skill lines are available to all characters we felt it was important to have a single forum for character mechanics and skills.

The two main differences between EN and EN-GB are the age certifications displayed in the footer, and the links in the top menu.

In light of all the changes coming in with 1.6 and the eventual rollout of the Champion system, I would appreciate seeing a little more flexibility in the forums for tracking class related information.

To date, this game has been out nearly a year and we still do not have class sub-forums in the Combat and Mechanics section.

Can anyone from @ZOS please explain why this has not been done?

I believe this is needed and could offer many benefits, some of which could be:

They would allow a simpler way for people to find, post, and discuss information related to their class of choice without having to weed through the various forum sections for the info.
They could help generate some sense of connection between players based on class concerns and focus.
They could be a useful tool for the development team to use whenever they wish to pose specific questions on class changes, skill updates etc. or just simply read.
They could be useful for new players looking for class specific information and a place for them to make class specific questions.
They could hopefully at some point be a place where devs would actually engage in providing direct posts themselves on a regular basis which are class focused as opposed to the ones currently posted for the whole game in Developer News.
They might actually help build the community on this site by attracting players looking to theorycraft here rather than having to do so in third party sites.

Any comment on suggestions by, ahem, other people in the thread?

As I use the forum on a daily basis, I find that the "number of comments since last read" indicator and some indication in Recent Discussion about what category the topic is in are really missed.

Also, any idea why the pinned topics vanished from Recent Discussions on Saturday?
