If you click on the thread that you made, there is a wheel next to the title which will allow you to edit the whole thing, change the title, move it, etc.
We're open to making further changes if there's a distinct need, especially for very active forums. However, we are not planning on having separate class discussion forums. This was something that was considered for this overhaul, but given that most skill lines are available to all characters we felt it was important to have a single forum for character mechanics and skills.

This is one of the main reasons why you don't see much theorycrafting here and why it's moved to Tamriel Foundry and guild forums. Just look at the Player Guides section, it's pitifully empty.
Itemization and skill selection are class-specific and should be aimed only at players looking for that type of information. If I'm looking for info on how to build my nightblade, I don't want to find that among 50 other threads aimed at different classes.
I would agree with this. "Dungeons and Trials" and "Adventure Zones" require different playstyles and strategies, and appeal to different people. I can see why they would put them together (Trials are located within Adventure Zones), but I think having them separate would be better. It seems "Adventure Zones" & "Trials/Raids" have been combined into one forum.
I believe they should be two separate entities, as they are two completely different experiences.

Your disagree button is the text box at the bottom. Fill it out with your reasons for disagreeing and post away.

If the thread only contains one question (and not a discussion of some kind), then it's fine. Is there any way to limit those threads to one accepted answer? Because reading those things becomes a jigsaw puzzle after a while.
There's no way to limit the OP from asking follow-up questions - and doing so would presumably prevent them from posting at all in their own threads, which would prevent clarification or discussion. It's also not possible to restrict the number of accepted answers, and sometimes there can be multiple good answers in a thread.nerevarine1138 wrote: »Actually, one thing that's remained the same is the format for Question threads, and it's absolutely infuriating. Class forums were considered at length, and we weighed a number of factors when making the decision to keep class discussion to a single forum. We do appreciate the requests being made here (and the other thread) for separation, they're constructive and well-supported.I find the justification of "most skill lines are available to all characters," completely inappropriate considering that is obviously not the case. It should not be used as an excuse for having everyone mull through hundreds of threads in General Discussion or in Combat & Mechanics to find the information they are looking for.
With the previous forum structure, the large number of specific forums resulted in several being disused - which is something we wanted to avoid with the overhaul. We're happy to make further changes to the structure, including separating (or combining) the extant forums. However given the current level of activity in the Adventure Zones forum, we're concerned about splitting that.I would agree with this. "Dungeons and Trials" and "Adventure Zones" require different playstyles and strategies, and appeal to different people. I can see why they would put them together (Trials are located within Adventure Zones), but I think having them separate would be better.
Reaction flags may see some additional changes next month, and Disagree is on the table as an option.C0pp3rhead wrote: »Can we just get a disagree button? It's simple & innocuous. Disagree was previously enabled during beta, but it was abused frequently enough it was disabled. As we saw the same problem with LOL following launch, there are concerns about bringing it back.

There may be other ways we can improve the ability to find class-specific threads, we'll investigate alternatives and see if anything can be implemented in the short-term.

While we cannot change the feature, these problems are considered when we decide how to use Questions. We originally planned to have Players Helping Players be exclusively Questions, but some bugs with the features convinced us to keep normal discussions an option.

Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough with my suggestion (if it's even something that can be implemented).
I absolutely want follow-up questions to be a possibility for the OP. I'd just like them to be limited to selecting one official "Answer" instead of having a row of out-of-context answers at the top of the page that I have to match up to posts below. Or maybe have a way of tiering questions. It just becomes extremely hard to follow a thread when answers are completely separated from the questions they're responding to.
We dont wanna break it we wanna make it. Have You relized how many people have quit this games just look at some of the guilds over 300 not active for over a month would u rather have people to play with or stick to the elder scrolls dang just stop and think just once!!!
God, me too. I've accidentally hit it at least thrice this week. Maybe move it all the way to the left?I still love the new design, my eyes actually love it!
Anyways,
is it possible to change the report button? Maybe its only me, but I hit the report button way to often, if I just want to quote someone.
Maybe position it more right, next to insightful.
