The menu items are kept consistent with main site and help portal. You will need a copy of the game to post on the forums - but anyone can read them.@ZoS_AlanG BTW.. whats with the BIG BLUE "BUY NOW" button on top right? I mean.. a person HAS to have AT LEAST bought the game once to post in the forums, right? Or are you opening up the forums to anyone who happens to walk in?
Oh, I realize now I was looking at "Developer Discussion", and not "Dev Tracker". That's kind of confusing, especially since Dev Tracker and Dev Discussion seem like they should be the same thing? Maybe "Dev Tracker" and "Dev Announcements" may work better. I dunno. The wording really confused me.The new Dev Tracker contains the first ~line of text (in green) to give you a preview of what the post is about.
I'm not a fan of the new bright colors. It's exceedingly bright.
Also I'm getting old and this text is a bit small.
The sub categories in the alliance war section seem to be overkill.
Over all I can't say they make me want to come and do research or generally hang around to interact with the community.

Doesn't look that much brighter on my screen.
And text size is easily fixed. Just hit Ctrl-+ (that's Ctrl and the + key) to increase text size in your browser. Hit Ctrl-- to make it smaller.
Regarding the video mentioned in some of our social messages, that note was accidentally left in. A video is planned, but we decided to wait until after the overhaul was launched so we could include shots of an active and populated environment rather than simulate it.

BTW I noticed one of the emotes is missing and it was my favourite one.
http://i.imgur.com/3UlZpBd.png that's the emote in question, I forget what it's full name was but I believe it was in the selection menu if you did : D (without space)
Any chance my cheeky smiley can come back?
I've received over 40 emails telling me this thread has been responded to. How do I unsubscribe or no follow this anymore?

I'm not going to change my text size for just one site, that's unreasonable.
And after reading 2-3 pages worth of topics, it's like going "Snow Blind"
Why did the 'Participated' had to go? Please bring it back. It was the best way to see if there were replies to threads were you have participated.
EDIT: phew it's still there but there's no button/link to use it one needs to manually enter it to address it seems.
