I know I've got more than 6 months subscribed, so why didn't I get the 6 month reward as soon as I qualified for it? I just realized I never got that one.

What about people that had a day shy of 6 months. 5 months 29 days? why is it fair that a person subbed 6 months gets the reward but not 5 months 29 days.

A line has to be drawn somewhere and they chose that line to be "subbed from day 1, the entire time." that will make this a "special" reward for those why made darn sure their subscriptions didn't lapse.

I, myself, bought 6 months at a time to make sure of this.

I DO think, however, they should give more than 1 one-time reward to subscribers. Something like:

Subscribed at all before the March 17th: A unique Emote
Subscribed for a TOTAL of 3 months prior to March 17th: A Unique Vanity Pet
Subscribed for a TOTAL of 6 months prior to March 17th: A Unique Costume
Subscribed for a TOTAL of 9 months prior to March 17th: Unique Mount
Subscribed for the ENTIRE time since April 4th 2014: Unique Motif

Can you give some more insight on the requirements to qualify for this bonus, specifically if "April" refers to the whole of April, or only players who managed to subscribe right at launch.

Was among the people who purchased Early Access but got locked out of my account for about a week after the 4th of April due to the supply issues that Game Time Cards had in terms of availability.

It would be rather upsetting to be locked out of receiving this bonus due to issues the company had with providing adequate stock in time for launch.

There was also an issue, that I had, where some players were locked out of the payment system because their address would return as invalid. Entering a different address would result in a legitimate billing error. I remember a few people who were here (on the boards) in early access, and their accounts went silent when the grace period expired.

In my case, I got it working by entering my address from my laptop. It can't even be a LAN issue because I'm literally using my desktop, which it won't accept, as a network bridge to the laptop that does work.

Remember reading about people with that issue.

Personally, do not have a credit card and my pre-order of ESO was gifted to me.
Had been playing since Beta, and stayed up all night on launch day to log in right when servers went live; played for the whole 5 day early access then got locked out on the 4th. There were no Game Time Cards available in my area due to the supply issues, and I had to get a relative to order me one online in order to get back into game.

At the time that it happened, ZOS was very good about getting me back into my account and activating my 30 free days while I waited on the card delivery -- they even credited me the lost time as free account time which was great on their part and I totally respect them for taking care of a customer like that.

If now the whole fiasco ends up shooting me in the foot again and costing me the reward, it is going to be quite frustrating.
Got my Ice Wraith on the first day, but got my Sphere pet late because of the issue; hope it does not exclude me from the reward -- would have been subscribed from day 1 if it had been an available option to me at all.

They should really rethink their decision on this. NO ONE knew they were gonna pull a fast one on us and go B2P and then penalize anyone who let their sub lapse for even a week by refusing them whatever the "special" reward is (most of us believing it'll be a mount) AND not giving them the same amount of crowns the continuous subscribers are slated to get. I've been subbed since pre-launch so I'll be getting the whole shebang so don't think this is me saying, "Hey I subbed for 3 months, give me all the goodies!" I just think it would be far more fair for them to look at total subbed time and say, "Hey anyone who has been subbed for 8 months total gets the same full set of goodies." Eight months means you've been supporting the game with your cold hard cash for the MAJORITY of the time it has been live. That should be more than enough.

At which point your vets who don't craft would be left up a tree. And, as weird as that may sound, such people do exist.

If thats the case, I hope the respec cost remains the same. Unless they have respec pots in he crown shop.

ive only been subbed 2 months and to be honest it seems fair that people who subbed for so long get something for that time and money spent. but to have to be subbed the whole time seems unfair. being subbed at least 3/4 of the release to the buy to play would seem fair to me.

It wouldn't really matter, though. If you've got a vet 14 and you have guild members do your crafting for you... then you'd have to rank two or three of your blacksmithing, woodworking, and clothier lines to 40 (or 45, I forget which), along with sinking a minimum of 9 points per into each. For traits, you'd need to do months of research, which would chew up another 4 points each. At that point you don't need the 3 points in extraction and the 3 points in refining, but it's probably a good idea, just to keep your upgrade materials coming in, and making those cheap enough to afford to upgrade to gold gear.

All of this to enjoy your "free" reward. Yeah, crafting is the route to getting the best gear in the game, but it is not a fairly minor time or resource commitment.

And, I say this as someone who's actually got all of the crafting trees (except enchanting) at 50.

It wouldn't surprise me if we saw new motif books pop up in the crown shop, but I doubt we'd see it as a loyalty reward.

What I would like to see is the mount from the Dark Brotherhood but with a few changes. Decked out in black Daedric armor with spikes that cover the back of the neck all the way over the head to the nose, bright red eyes, a purple fire mane and bright red blood dripping from it's mouth......
