Who thinks there needs to be about a month leeway for people who's subs lapsed just for a bit due to small reasons, they are still very loyal subscribers. Personally mine lapsed for just over a week due to money reasons and I consider this a massive insult if there is no leeway.

the whole concept is a pretty big joke. so what people who left cause the game broken at alunch and returned spending money again and again , only to be presetned with a broken ass game . we deserve to be insulted lol.

Why stop at 6 months? 5 months is also a long time eh? 4 months kinda is too? I mean it has to be a certain length of time. They decided on launch to relaunch. I believe (I dont work for ZOS so this is only my opinion) as long as you paid each and every month from start to finish of p2p you will get the reward.
I dont see a lapse of a day or a week stopping it. They will look and see did John Doe pay each month. Yes. Ok he gets it. I hope at least thats how ZOS sees it.5 -

✭✭✭✭✭I was comped a day of playtime due to bugs I encountered and filed a ticket on. Even though I got up at 4 AM PST to play on the first day of pre-release, I ended up getting my sphere late because this one day of comped time meant my 180th paid day was one day too late.
I never asked for this comped day; it was just given to me as a form of apology by a very nice GM. ✭✭✭I played the Beta, I made sure I got the game day one, I made sure that my subscription was active, and I made sure my subscription would renew before the renew date.
I was diligent because I put my faith in ZOS. Come hell or high-water I wanted to support this little venture of theirs and I wanted ESO to become the gold-standard for MMOs. I wanted to be able to say that I was part of it from day one and my support never wavered. Not once.
Having a trinket to commemorate my blind, unbridled ignorance will be nice. Every time I ride/use/wear it people will be able to gaze in amazement at my gullibility and naiveté.
Man... it's going to be great. I can't wait.

That should pretty much include everyone who played the game and paid basically at least $70-100 for a beta game, and should exclude any of the new people coming in for the non-sub product.

Awesome is different flavors to different people.

I doubt there will be an actual person reviewing how many days someone let a account go unpaid. I think the program will be to look at the start of the membership and if the current account is active and recurring each month from that start. So if you had an issue where you lost two days it would still show that over all you had an account that was recurring each month. That would be a lot easier on their end and most people would be happy with that.1

I lost time after a patch a few months ago, and as a result I got a code for a few free days... (anyone else get one ever?) but I am sol anyway because my sub did lapse nearly two weeks because of a lost card.

Again thats BS because those rewards are handed to everyone when they hit the 6 month mark. This is NOT a 12 month reward. Its a reward for being subbed EVERY MONTH between launch and relaunch. Not every second.1 -

That statement was an odd one, to be sure. The phrasing of that, and the choice of the word "leeway", when nothing needed to be said at all, actually says a lot to me.
Typical ZOS answers about upcoming things tend to sound like "we are considering," "we will let you know when we decide," and "soon."
