Do people keep the low level mats when they've out leveled them? Let's say jute.... People complaining about space, do you still have jute on you? If so... Why?
We keep saying, if not here in other threads. People just read a few posts or the OP or the title, and come wading in.
I keep it so I can make stuff for my alts, other peoples alts, and so that I can make level 1 trait items, for guidies and friends to research.
We don't all play just one character, more than a few actually play alts at different levels, what not be an issue if that was not the case.
Downside? Why does it always have to be a pro/con thing? My point is that more space doesn't FIX anything.Blackwidow wrote: »

If there is no downside and there is an upside, I can only come to the conclusion you are not being logical.
More space does fix the problem. We need more space, so more space would resolve the problem.
You know what does not solve the problem? Your posts.

You might as well ask for unlimited bag space but it wouldn't "fix" the management issues, eh? So what, pray tell, would this accomplish?
If you want to solve something, go straight to the source. Don't do "patch-up fixes"; it only buries the problem.Neither does this particular reply of yours.Blackwidow wrote: »Downside? You believe that adding more inventory space actually accomplishes anything? In a game where you collect and craft more and more items?
You know what happens? You just going to get MORE STUFF!
What's your fix, then? Ask for even more space? How is that a solution? What amount could possibly satisfy you?
Asking for more space is just a short-sighted / short-term way of looking at it. If you got a problem with the inventory, then the issue goes deeper than a mere arbitrary amount of space you have.
You're talking about upside and downsides, I'm saying there is neither.
How is that difficult to understand?

Good. I could use more stuff. What's your fix, then?
Won't need one. What amount could possibly satisfy you?
I'd say 60 personal spaces for each character.
I tell ya what, give me the bank space and we will see who is right.
Hey, @Gix, you still have not said why you don't want more bank space. Seems odd, no?

Don't bother @Blackwidow We don't really want more cyclic discussion anyway do we? That is all will come of engaging further.
Once my bank hit 120 slots, my bags hit 110 and my provisioning was 50, my bag space problems disappeared...

^ This although it was a little higher for me at 130 Bank, 130 Personal (main character) is when I no longer had any issue whatsoever with bank space and my main that has every crafting profession maxed, is now done with all research for WW (the final three 8-traits are installed), has 6-trait+ on everything else, and is a loot fanatic. It's like an addiction, I can't seem to walk past anything without looting it but it's all good. I hope ZoS sticks to their vision on this one, as well as no global AH.
Besides NOBODY has any idea of what's coming down the pipe. It's entirely possible we're going to get personal/account space in our homes once that gets into ESO. Or maybe ZoS has already planned inventory expansion down the road as more content is released.

What are the addons to do this with? Also, can it tell me what various food ingredients are for - what level recipes etc?

Hmm, obviously you have never play ESO games, or you are just a troll - pick one. ESO games have a long tradition of player added content and capabilities. Add-ons are an essential part of every ESO game. It allows you to tailor most aspects of your game play to the way you want to play, instead of having to use the features forced onto you by the game designers.
Maybe you should just go play a game that was designed with you in mind. Good luck with that.

Well I have 100 bank space, and can not afford right now to raise it for 20k. Main has 100 bag, and alts have 80 and 70 respectively. Oh and 4 mules.
Likely things would be way better if I got the full 240 bank and max on bags for those three, could lose a mule or two.
Have even thought of the housing and such, but a) that is a year or two away, and I am having my fun spoiled with this NOW. So much I can have aversions to logging in. and b) This dev team is so obsessed with gold sinks, they charge you gold for a bug when your stuck. I wonder what they will cost. Got a feeling I will be gone by then anyhow.
Inventory management is fine in the game as it is. I do all crafting and can store everything easily. I've used a couple mules, one just to hold extra crap that's overflow so I can be a pack-rat and the other to hold equipment with traits on to research later (that one is getting empty now though).

If you have to use mules, the inventory system is not fine.

I normally agree with most of what you say Blackwidow but this isn't correct. EVERYONE who has played WoW, Rift and a few others can attest to having banker alts for various reasons, mainly the issue of a bazillion BoP items from Raids and whatnot that your main has and can't do anything with but put in the bank, so you have to push crafting mats to alts often times even with every upgrade/biggest bags possible. Not to mention all the "trophy" type items like Trophy fish in WoW as an example.
For people who just can't let go of things whether they be crafter or hoarders or completionists or achievement hunters, etc, inventory will ALWAYS be a hot button issue.
