Then I've heard other people say it was too easy... You have skilled and unskilled players. It's hard to balance both. Just play dcuo. I'm overgeared and still get one shotted in raids because the people that wanted it harder where vocal. This game so far is way way easier then end game dcuo

Edit: and no one wants free to play, less updates, less content with an online store that makes you want to spend more then 15$ a month. I've spent 100 dollars a month on dcuo before while I was also subbed to it

I don't know, you would have to have an incredible latency to consider Vet Easy..

I have to roll the millisecond I see red, because I can be well outside it on my screen and still get annihilated by the special ability. I'm not sure I've seen a single post saying Vet content was too easy, and if anyone ever did post that I'd be tempted to call them on their elitist ***.

At the best Vet is crazy challenging and rewarding. Honestly I kinda like it, I fear the grind and I will never make Vet12 because I don't live on this game, but I like that you have to be on the ball during all the fights.

that being said, ESO will probably end up with an elite group of players in a year if they don't change it. and everyone else will be playing somewhere else. Doubt that's a commercially successful model.

No worries, mate! Although I am seeing a alot of this phrase now that i'm reading through the threads.

As for VR content, I've not yet reached it, but my husband did and boy, the rage he inflicted on his mouse all the way to V12 was hilarious(ly sad). Hopefully they make the ranks more meaningful, but there's absolutely no way that what currently on the game for vet ranks is truly end game, as they are still making new content. Assuming they're like most devs that push content out every couple of months, it'd be foolish to keep it as what it currently is and they'll more likely change up what they release. This is another thing people (sort of) jump the gun on. It's only been three months, the current content of the vet ranks is not gonna be the only thing in the world. Every other game that has end game material runs into people acting as if nothing will change/no new content will come out for the rest of the game's life span. It'll take a few more vet content patches (read: months, maybe even a year) before anyone can definitively pinpoint what ZoS' idea of end content is like. But they better figure out more creative ways to keep leveling interesting. I've played games that took a month to gain five levels, so I can go mindless zombie if need be, but would rather not, especially if the end game isn't worth it :/

I just canceled my sub and noticed there was no feedback option. I find this very odd as I would think they would want to know why someone is leaving. I currently manage a portfolio as an account manager for a company and sometimes I loose accounts. You can bet on the fact that I am going to find out why. I know they cant review every piece of feedback but man I would expect them to at least collect the data. To be honest I was hoping to highlight some items that would make me come back so I guess I should post them here:

VR content, pretty much what everyone is saying.
Seems like a last minute mad dash to acknowledge the lack of end game content.
    Endless grind, ridiculous enemy stats
Pointless - “oh you just spent hours gaining a new lever...Here's like two points in damage increase and the mobs now eat your soul. Have Fun!”
Have to admit I never ran a trial but I watched a video of one because I was suspicious and as it turns out my concerns were correct. They look boring and pointless. Boss walks into a room and you kill it....See if you can get the best time! The people in the video weren't even looking at their gear that dropped which tells me it's more pointless gear that you just DE.
Ruins the prospect of any alts beyond crafting bots and bank toons....oh wait that’s right they share bank slots...

Tanking is boring...I mean like really boring
Basic tanking experience = Block, block, taunt, block, buff, block, block, block, taunt,

Guild System or lack there of
Trade guilds are probably the worst idea I've ever heard of. It seems like a sure fire way to destroy and in-game economy or in this case prevent one from developing
I sold most items in general as my trade guilds kept fluctuating in membership
The trade guild system really hurts the casual guild appeal. Every time I advertised my guild people would whisper and ask how many members? I'd replay with what is your main concern with members? We're actually trying to recruit a few at a time so we can see if people are a good fit. They would then reply “sorry really just looking to get into trade guilds to sell.”
Where are guild perks? Given I pretty much gave up on a guild being anything more than a trade hub so I may have missed them.

Worst Dungeon system I've ever played
No point to run dungeons at VR level as they don't drop special loot
You can get the story from regular runs and to be honest I skipped most of those because tanking was boring and no good loot. I can play the main game for story and not be bored.

PVP is fun when I can find a group that is in a big fight
Must have forward camp, I spend way to much time running back when I die (trolls come and get it.)
Most of my pvp time is spent looking for the group mentioned above. Seriously, I spent a lot of time looking for people to fight.
Gold rewards for campaign participation? Maybe I didn't play enough in the campaign but this just seems really lazy. To be honest I would have played more but I got tired of not being able to find the action.
No smaller conflicts, Cyrodiil is your only option.
PVP armor after we were told there wouldn’t be any.
    No duels?

Classes must use destruction staff and light armor
    - I really wanted to be a dual wield DK but I just cant figure out how its supposed to work.
    - It cost way to much to respec, this does not encourage experimentation to me, it encourages forum reading. The get it right the first time or die approach really was off putting for me

There is more that bothers me about this game but I thought I'd offer a few things that in my opinion would help:

Offer high end mats to drop off VR content dungeon bosses. Not loot that has a chance to yield such mats as we can get those grinding in crag.
If the mega server approach prevents a server wide AH then offer regional AH's. Would be interesting to see people moving goods from zone to zone due to better markets. This would allow for full market access and encourage competitive pricing. Some people complain about AH PVP, not sure why especially if you live in America.
Make VR content optional and provide special rewards like the ability to choose which faction to fight for after completion. Whats the point of seeing other peoples views if you have no ability to act on them.
Give us more power! I shouldn't feel like the game is out to get me past level 50. Make it challenging but make the player a force to be reckoned with as well.
Guild Halls! Maybe offer farms and resources that you can maintain and profit from. Guild Halls could also be siege d and maybe players could form alliances that offer boons to friendly players when they come to aid.
    Toggle Sprint, seriously ouch.

Again, I have more but I'm sure there are people just waiting put their flame throwers to use. When I found that I was having more fun reading the games forums than paying I started to feel like a troll. Even though this is my first post I felt I was reading forums for the wrong reason and needed to go back a game I enjoyed. So I hope this game continues to be fun for those who enjoy it. As for me I've got some Jedi gear to dust off.

I do, I'm taking about the person who made the post. The points are valid, I want this game to keep making progress, but it doesn't need whiners to do so. You shouldn't excuse their behaviour, some people above did have valid points without whining. I was mainly taking about the creator of the post

You do know you are being a huge hypocrite, right?

    "Whine whine whine"

    "Whine whine, cry, cry."

"I need to whine so people can see I'm making a difference."

"Feels good to be a whiner"

    Those are all you, buddy.

To quote you, "You shouldn't excuse their behaviour, some people above did have valid points without whining."

Making personal attacks and then complaining about how some people post makes you lose all credibility.

One more quote of yours, "It's been proven that positive reinforcement is far more encouraging"

    Have a nice day. :)

The issues with your flawed logic are harder to resolve Im afraid, unless by "core set of people" you meant that I must pay the monthly fee to 60 of my friends so we can populate Craglorn again.

And even then, I would need to pay some facebook peeps as well to populate the rest of the areas.

You can play with friends, of course. That does not populate the areas, that only let you do the content, wich is something at least, but it does not bring healthy economy, good pugs, player interaction between unknown people, new competitive guilds... it would just let you do the group dungeons and trials with your friends.

I was trying to be funny. And really get real, are everyone's complaints legitimate issues? What about conflicting issues? I see people who want one thing, then others that want the opposite. What's the fix for that? I wish people could comprehend English, your putting a load of *** into my mouth that I didn't say. Heck I didn't even imply half of that. I was just trying to replicate the behaviour of the whiners, which yes some do sound like that.

Is this game fun? Yes. Can it have improvments? Yes. Is this game as broken as the community thinks it is? No. The game could have a bunch of fixes and constant improvments but that doesn't happen over night now does it? Trust me I believe a lot of the whiners make good points, but it's dramatizes as hell. Don't give me bs saying it isn't. A bunch of boys having fun being drama queens. I want this game to change for the better I never said otherwise. Again was just trying to replicate a percentage of the player base.

well... they broke pvp (and many other things) over night, so is it really too much to expect they fixed it in a couple of days?

Actually, there's already an avenue for bug reporting and leaving feedback that gets noticed.

    EVERY DAY I LOG IN.

Guess what? I've seen some of them corrected/acted upon.....and I didn't even waste a moment's time trying to fume on the forums about them.

This is the point I'm trying to get across that you(and those like you) seem not to want to get. Using the forums isn't going to do you any good when there's a much better(and more noticable) way to get the point across.

All you're really doing here on the forums by posting complaints is arguing semantics or trolling or whining. That's it. You -really- care about the game and want to see these "issues" addressed? Make /bug and /feedback reports. Constantly.

And have a little patience. If it's not happening fast enough for you? Too bad. I suggest you apply to Zenimax studios and get to work on those "issues" right away if it's not up to your expectations.

This isn't me white knighting the game....because it's still got faults and problems that are completely valid reasons for people to not pay the sub....however...if you're one of those people and you're no longer supporting the game financially...in -my opinion-....you've forfeited the right to come here and complain about it.

Believe me when I say...the very moment something changes that makes the game unplayable to me...I'll send a /feedback and then request a stop payment and quit playing....and I won't come here to whine about what's wrong...because complaining to the forumites isn't going to get results. Complaining to management does, if it's done right.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Regarding the grouping piece, I've been doing as you suggested since beta.

Sadly, grouping is still not fixed, and forced-solo instances still serve as a roadblock to most of the game's content.

If they're listening to the feedback, they've provided no evidence of it. Heck, even a "We're not fixing what you want, so go pound sand!" would be preferable to the deafening silence.

I'm going to say this to you clearly, so you get this into your head. People posting on the forums does make things change in the game.

You are not the moderator of these threads. Go tell someone who cares about what you think, because it's not me. You are a rude person.

    Have a nice day.

I wonder why and how I'm having so much fun with my little army? It's probably because I am in no hurry. One of 8 characters:

I come here, this forum especially, for amusement, as the howls of rage are very funny.

I do have nice machinery and know quite a bit about computers, so I really only have that to explain my generally good performance, I guess.

It is an online game you understand, networks are involved. Complicated things with sometimes quite braindead ideas about what to do with your packets.
