Either way, why is that not a valid reason to bring up issues about ESO?
In way crazy way is that complaining just to complain?
So you don't experience those issues and therefore they do not exist? Don't experience broken quests therefore they do not exist. Don't experience lag therefore it does not exist.
You don't experience lag? Really? You don't get enemies dropping dead before you even get an animation?
You have never accidentally triggered an ultimate when you looted and pressed "R" to loot all but the loot box never opened and you popped the ultimate instead?
Never experienced blocking being out of sync with enemy animations?
I have a broken quest currently that I check on from time to time. Broken since I picked it up about a week or so ago. Abandoned several times. Still broken.
The newest bug I have is that my ESC key stops working. Sometimes /reloadui fixes it, sometimes not. I do have occasional crashes as well.
You have a bank and inventory where you can easily store 100+ items on each with no way to categorize?
Most of the stuff you posted is of the form "I don't experience it so therefore it doesn't exist or is a personal issue". Really? Its not all about just you. This is not a game made for just you.

Google is not in game.
That is the crux of the argument for those who oppose and/or attack folks who bring up issues with ESO, though usually with a dash of "L2P" or "Deal with it!" thrown in for good measure. Most of the stuff you posted is of the form "I don't experience it so therefore it doesn't exist or is a personal issue".
Until you have done all of these than you haven't experienced the game. The game begins at v1 not v12. Don't cry about being unable to skip all the content to trials this isn't wow

And again, i see comments regarding "f2p' pop up in a sook thread. Sometimes i wonder whether all this bashing and crying is just some people's way of hoping it will become a f2p game? If so, then that's just idiotic! Most f2p games suck and often end up costing MORE you more money by tempting players to buy from their in-game store, so i don't see WHY so many people are opting for this to become a f2p game. I am not suggesting the OP is trying to do this, but i am just saying that in general from what i have read and heard, it just seems like that to me that a great majority of people seem to think that the harder they cry and whine, the sooner it will become a f2p game.
I like many games and also dislike many games but i don't jump on the forums and sook and cry and whine about it. If i don't like a game or am not happy about it, i either quit, and walk away quietly with no fuss. But if i like the game and feel i would like to see certain things different, i open FEEDBACK and offer some as a suggestion. Who knows, they may just listen. /shrug
Anyway, my two cents worth.

From our own perspective, those who are defending ESO as-is and blasting everyone bringing up its shortcomings are doing everything in their power to pave the way to F2P for this game.Adryssa_Joneley wrote: »And again, i see comments regarding "f2p' pop up in a sook thread. You reap what you sow.
ZOS sow a game in early beta stage, riddled with gamebreaking bugs and some huge exploits, some identified but not fixed during testing(i still know of 10 exploits 80% of the playerbase has still no knowledge of,but they will at some point)
You reap, people running away in droves, ammount of negative posts and threads growing by the day on this and all ESO related forums.
And they deserve every last one of them.
Saying this makes you a problem, and admitting it gets your account locked dude. Why would you openly admit this?

This is a learn to adapt issue.
As for the lag in cyrodil..stop playing on wabbajack its an overpopulated zerg fest.
We just want to see at least some of the many critical shortcomings in ESO fixed, so folks remain subscribed, others re-subscribe, and it wins new subscribers for a long time to come. Ignoring problems never makes them go away.

There's nothing.....I think people just complain just to complain about pointless things...

Do you actually play the game? If you did then you would know the answer to your question.

There, fixed your title

Agreed, most of who complain just want to see the game succeed and get better. Yes, of course there are those who just want to flame and derail threads. But for the bigger part, we want this game to be a success, maybe even #1
<Gets in his formal tone of voice>
I do not want to accuse anyone of anything, but I must ask, how many times must I repeat myself? This game is only 3 months old...it is going to have issues, just like any other new game. In fact, I ask you to do the following...go to any other game (Be it World of Warcraft, Rift, Star Wars: The Old Republic, whatever) and for those who played World of Warcraft, Rift, et cetera, et cetera, in the first 3 or so months, ask them the following question: What issues did the game have? I bet you 90% of those you ask will tell you issues that are quite similar to the issues Elder Scrolls Online has right now.
When you are done, you will come to realize the following truth: New games, regardless of size of game, the size of the developer base making said game, and the number of players playing said game, will have many issues, but it will get better later down the line.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Sincerely,
An Elder Scrolls Online player
It is amazing to see how many people quote this verbatim, without even thinking it through.
No game is bug free, no. But time and again, context is ignored, to make a blanket defence. The context that is, software developers, are run by money people, and like any other corporation today, cut expenditure and anything else they can, including testing. And it is getting more prevalent in each industry.
Only for some reason, software, has the same level of accountability, as banking, finance and politics. The money people want the money from the big new media, but, they don't want to offer the quality. And it is not just MMO's. In last 10 years, I have seen what I call "release now, patch later". And the shortfalls are becoming increasingly apparent across the board. MMOs are included, yet let off the hook rather bizzarely, simply for being MMOs.
Yes, many MMOs launch incomplete with bugs, and warts. Which is exactly why, when having seen the regular fallout from this, it makes no sense to follow suit in the same way, or worse, try press your luck even more. The only people who want this are the investors. I really do not feel sorry for them, when an MMO they put money in, gets slammed, because the devs rushed it to give them what they wanted, over their customers.
Nor, am I surprised when for the nth time the fallout happens under exactly the same circumstances. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing, and expecting a different result. It is no longer a defence to me, as it is evidence for the prosecution. If it happens so often, and you know it will likely happen again if you do it, the why do it?
I don't really feel sorry for the investors when people complain about incomplete MMOs. And they are the people your really defending. I don't think they need defending.
For every guy like this who sees the sky falling, there are 50 players *playing* who are thoroughly enjoying the experience. They don't stop to post "this game is great", they just play.
My wife and I left out of frustration earlier on so I know the feeling, but we came back and realized what we were missing. There are still annoying problems, but the positives vastly outweigh (for us) any negatives. The game is great and full of promising potential. I still yell at my screen from time to time lol, but there is a reason we both keep coming back.
As for population, one thing you will notice is that players gravitate to efficient hubs to call home. For the AD, the town of rawl'kha in Reaper's March is always fantastically crowded because it is the best town in the game for quick access to way shrine, bank , crafting stations, merchants, etc. The bank is ALWAYS overpopulated. The gamer population is there, they are just more efficient than you realize.
