Actually they are not my opinions at all. They are a list of complaints from this forum from other players.

For every guy like this who sees the sky falling, there are 50 players *playing* who are thoroughly enjoying the experience. They don't stop to post "this game is great", they just play.
My wife and I left out of frustration earlier on so I know the feeling, but we came back and realized what we were missing.
The bank is ALWAYS overpopulated. The gamer population is there, they are just more efficient than you realize.
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
Trion has a dream team of Game developers. those guys know their stuff its why they are being paid tens of millions of dollars and a profit share for the Archeage NA port.I'm not normally a quitter, but I have to admit that thought is bouncing round in my head. When Blizzard, Trion, CCP said they were going to fix things, I never found myself doubting that. I don't have that confidence in Zenimax !
Honestly... I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. Like I said I'm not ready to quit yet. I'd still consider renewing my sub (maybe reduced from a 90 day to a 30 day though) Or maybe it's just time to take a break?
Ah well, that's my thoughts thrown out there. (feel free to Rage, Flame or Comment)
Seems like the less employees game has, the better job it does lol..
Trion - 200 employees
Zenimax Online - 250 employees
Blizzard Entertainment - 4700 employees
I'll agree with you only about Trion.
Blizzard and I go way back, and I for one know very well WoW is far from being a polished game, never was and never will be. (Looking at you bugged Wrath quests, even though it's been 5 years since then)
If I take out their horrible graphics art, I can begin with their PvP, it's one of the worst in the whole genre, they promised fixing and balancing it for 10 years straight (Yep empty promises, the last expansion had worst balance since the vanilla days).
But fine if I take PvP out of that game as well, all we have left is PvE and that is only one thing - Raids.
Exploration is non-existent, quest and profession system is crappy at best. There are only 2 things Blizzard does well Marketing and Raid System, all other things are average or beyond average.
ESO might not be all I wanted it to be, most of the time I feel like there are many things still missing from the game. But I can't get past the fact how rich detailed worlds are, they feel incredibly alive and immersive, something I never experienced in any other MMO..
I think people thought they would get whole Tamriel since Day 1, I think they don't understand it takes 10 Skyrim games to get that done, it's that huge. Perhaps in the future we will get all that, as for now I'm very happy which direction this game is heading too.
Am I the only one who enjoys the empty Veteran Zones?
Blackwidow wrote: »Talketzanto wrote: »People always say they are leaving because the games broke.....whats broke? what broken game mechanic is really bothering you and stopping you from having fun?
There's nothing.....I think people just complain just to complain about pointless things...
It's too hard for them and they can't adapt from the other mmos to this one so they're going back to where they feel comfortable.
Yeah, I'm sure it's just the adapt thing you mentioned. What else could it be?
- The power gap between levels in Cyrodiil. Stay with the Zerg if u are low lvl
- Lack of end game Dont rush content in this NEW game
- lack of a real auction house. You dont need one to get rich
- Near empty PvP / The pvp is the most badly designed pvp i have ever played. PVP is 5% of the game
- Lack of feedback from devs Agree
- impossible to find any roleplay because of the way the phasing system works RP died years ago, but agree
- Bugs/crashes Marginal
- class balance is utter crap. Its getting better constantly.
- 5 guilds system sucks Agree, its unpersonal Join a real guild with sister guilds.
- Inventory GUI is horrible Same as every other ES game
- being forced into solo play quests Only a few of them and they teach you how to paly your class properly.
- No way of changing skill morphs without a full respec. Also, crazy respec cost. Agree, cost of respec should be cut in half.
- 15 minute long 'raids' Game is still new. Dont get mad you rushed content.
- Alchemy... just all of it... the fact that only 3 potions are of any real benefit, the fact that 2 completely different potions have the same name just because their 1st effect on the list is the same, the small amount of reagents...Wait until Dark brotherhood comes
- Lag I live in middle of no where alaska with low end DSL and barely lag. Stop playing on Wabbalag
- Rapid Gear Decay.Lol...dtop dieing
- Overall direction of gameRead the road to come, looks amazing.
- Reasoning behind changing things because of botsnecessary evil happens in all MMO's
- megaserver/phasing/sharding system better than having ghost servers
- VR1 - VR12 Farming (Anomaly, Balmath etc)Here is one of your main issues. Rushing to vr12 vs playing the NEW game.
- Broke abilities and passivesThey arent game breaking so they are low on the totem pole.
- intimidate/persuade but it does not translate to the other players choice if they cannot select it...
- instances of grouping are sometimes not working
- Memory leak problemstheres been 2 and they were fixed in a few days.
- Bad grouping toolsGrouping tools are fine, just not used.
- the 'quick'slot system designed for consoles
- Tiny banks / Inventory space minigame taking about 25% of my play time
- guild store gui is bad /guild store does not work
- Unresponsive combatStop playing on Wabbalag too many people.
- the lack of direction and interaction from/with the devsYou said this already.
- Bad guild banks optionsAgree, there needs to be a week+ log and more options/ranks.
- Lack of an real open worldIn other more open MMO's you still are subjected to your lvl range.
- not seeing enemy players due to them not loaded on your screenStop playing on Wabbalag
- Can't reply in mail
- No duelingEpeen glorification will come later, game is new.
- poor atrocity that is VR leveling. / would like to see more possibilities to level from v1 to v12.It's really not as big of a deal as people make it out to be... This is hard to grasp for millenials with their now now now me me mine mine attitude.
- No underwater swimmingWould be pointless.
- No law systemRead about upcoming justice/pvp system
- I don't like the part where I can't login for 4 days because of Error 301.
- No housingRoad to come, not a big issue. jsut another time sink.
- Lack of user friendly GUI
- No options for floating namesTheres a mod for it.
- No way to preview gear on your character before actually equipping it.Google is awesome
"I think people just complain just to complain"
Yeah, no problems I can find.

My hope is they will tackel another MMO that runs in the same vein of EQ2. Or more of a sandpark then theme park or sand box. Anyone with any progressive design concepts or creative control have long since left blizzard . Many work at Trion ans welll as the true talent form the Everquest franchinse.
I still yell at my screen from time to time lol,

Yeah, hopefully (and I admit it's slim) Zenimax with all their millions can poach some of Trion's team/design leaders and get them onto the ESO payroll. Just imagine what they could do with a game the depth of ESO !
Fairydragon3 wrote: »I still yell at my screen from time to time lol,
lol don't we all, this is when i stop for the night and play again the next day. Ive notice the more people play video qames the more they tend to be a bit cranky after long grinds that's why I take a nap/ sleep. everything is better after

There are some real big advantages to a low population game. Seriously, it can be fun to have the game to yourself or with a few friends with nobody else getting in your way.
I think ESO has turned into a niche game like DDO, Rift, SWTOR and others like that.

Ok by me, can you name one MMO since WOW launced, that has moved to niche or plain been ended?

LOL. yeah, blame the players!!!!
They should love it unconditionally! no matter how boring or repetitive or lazily implemented the VR system is! All these new kids with their "iPads" and their "Macbooks", they don't know how good they have it!
/sarcasm off.
Get over yourself

Not likely with ArcheAge coming soon(TM).
Rift is dwindling in terms of playerbase and Trion is looking for ArcheAge to turn the fortunes around after the debacle that was Defiance.
So they'll likely be taking pretty good "care" of their best designers and codemonkeys.
and we all see how that Open class system worked for TSW. That game almost collapsed funcom AOC did way better and still is beating TSW.Fairydragon3 wrote: »Blackwidow wrote: »Am I the only one who enjoys the empty Veteran Zones?

ZOS sow a game in early beta stage, riddled with gamebreaking bugs and some huge exploits, some identified but not fixed during testing(i still know of 10 exploits 80% of the playerbase has still no knowledge of,but they will at some point)
You reap, people running away in droves, ammount of negative posts and threads growing by the day on this and all ESO related forums.
And they deserve every last one of them.
Saying this makes you a problem, and admitting it gets your account locked dude. Why would you openly admit this?

By all means, don't defend the game, just attack the poster.
@Phantax we all need a break from a game once in a while. Hopefully ESO get's better over time and we can come back to a game that does not feel like it is in beta.
Have a nice day.
Just realised (not that I'd actually forgotten) I have next week off work. Think this may be the first time I have time off and have zero plans to play my 'current' MMO.
Looking back over the last few weeks I've had just as much fun doing stuff like-

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/96773/dark-anchor-improvement#latest
Maybe its time to dust off 'Game Maker' and 'Unity 3D' even 'Blender' get myself back into some game/level design. Something constructive to keep my mind active for a week....lol

Yeah and we can just wait some months to come back in a F2P. Such a shame to ask people to pay for a game in this state.
I can't even say that I'm eagerly awaiting Monday's fix. Honestly.. my main thought about Monday is "What else are they going to break?"
When Blizzard, Trion, CCP said they were going to fix things, I never found myself doubting that. I don't have that confidence in Zenimax!:(
