    Who the hell makes an authorization charge of a full 6 months subscription? It should be one dollar or something. But we had this discussion in April. *sigh*

    I've paid alright for game AND imperial edition seperately , why the heck unable to process ???
    Funniest thing is that money were CHARGED and written off my virtual credit card.
    So funniest thing is that i'm afraid to try again now - i don't want to be charged twice.

    I have same issue. Imperial Edition and 180 days payed when creating account.
    Today I could not log on due to my account was not active/payed. I see on my bank home page that the correct amount, 534 SEK is protected, so there is no issue with the payment from my virutal VISA card (only exists for this payment)

    Still the Account page say I have 0 days left and not made an payment plan.

    I even try to make a new 180 days payment, but was denied. Something is very strange here

    They need to realize there is a problem with the temporary charges and that they are not sending the message to the banks that it is okay to let the funds go. I got the whole run around too. ESO says they didn't get any money from the charge and I need to contact the bank to get it back. The bank tells me they can't give it back because ESO hasn't sent them the message to release it. So thus I am stuck without the money and neither of them wants to take responsibility to fix the problem! Something needs to be done to prevent these double charges from happening!

    Same issue here, I had set up subscription at start of April for 3 month and today I get slapped in the face with a message I have no active subscription. I go check my bank history and there it is blocked sum of money for eso. I was like hey maybe they messed something up and money will be returned, np. I setup another subscription, this time just 1 month, to be on the safe side, and AGAIN declined and sum of money blocked on my bank acc.

    Guess I wont be playing more today and will just go sleep. Doubt anything will get resolved by tomorrow.

    I paid for a one month cycle. The money came out f my bank account but I did not get credit on my ESO account either.

    Got similar issue.
    Automatic payment was declined on my virtual MC.
    I entered the cc once more and was charged for 499RUB right after confirmation.
    I've checked my email and there were two emails:
    1. Transaction Receipt

    Name: ****
    Card Number: MasterCard ****

    Total руб0.00 RUB

    2. Transaction Receipt

    Name: ****
    Card Number: MasterCard ****
    30 Days Game Time руб499.00 RUB

    Total: руб499.00 RUB

    Status: DECLINED

    I've tried to enter card number once more and everything was the same.
    In total I was charged for 2*499RUB and got no game time.

    If you are waiting on support, put in a ticket for a phone call back. They are pretty quick now.

    I contacted my credit card company. This is definitely your system Zenimax. You cancelled my account telling me my credit card was invalid. It was not. Your charge went through; however, my account remained cancelled. I had to put the exact same credit card information in again and was then charged the second time. The company has flagged the first charge to make sure it drops off.

    Still not a single word from your customer service. >:(

    I wasn't charged twice. But I apparently get to pay tax which has never happened with any other gaming company. Funny, I see no mention of that on any parts of the site. If tax is to be collected, they need to state that. Getting really really unhappy with all of the billing bull. :(

    I tried to renew this morning. Same credit card info, etc. that I bought early access with and my credit card was declined. WTF Zenimax. Not only is your game buggy but the billing system seems to be in beta too.

    Just put in a ticket for a call back, they're beyond the projected wait time already. My card i had set up for sub was declined, i entered it again, declined, checked my balance, the fee is pending......if the fee is pending my account better not be declined and unavailable. I swear it's like noone at ZOS has ever done business online before, this is ridiculous.

    Same problem here. My credit card was charged

    180 Days Game Time $77.94 USD

    Tax: $5.46 USD
    Total: $83.40 USD

    Status: DECLINED

    And the funds are unavailable on my card and I cannot subscribe due to the transaction not being authorized. What is this all about now? It's one thing after another with you Zenimax, I can only put up with so much of this nonsense.

    They do state it. After choosing the payment method (Visa etc.), a new box appears with this:
    "* You have selected a subscription plan that will bill you zł240.00PLN + applicable taxes, if any, every 180 days in accordance with the plan selected above. "

    With a different price and time for you, obviously.

    With J MMOs we usually don't unfortunately in the US Delaware is the only somewhat tax free state and they happen to be in Maryland

    Just happened to me too. Couldn't log in and realized Zen said the card was declined. This is the same card I bought the game with and its perfectly fine. So I checked the credit card account info online and sure enough no transaction.

    I then go and set up and pay for a 30 day sub plan again and the email from Zen says declined again. Problem is now my credit card account says "pending" with them and those funds are unavailable.

    I'll submit a ticket but I'm pretty much done with this nonsense as well.

    I just got a reply from USELESS customer service. It is copied and pasted as follows,

    I'm sorry to inform you of this, but your payment method has been rejected. You'll have to contact your bank for more information about why it happened. :(
    A small reason it may be rejected is that you need to have twice the amount of money in your account for the first subscription, kinda like dipping your toes into the water to test the temperature.. Then we'll refund the initial payment and then your subscription fee will hit your account.


    What? I have a $25,000 limit on my Visa and my balance owing is ZERO dollars.
    I also bought something online with my Visa AFTER I tried to re-new. Funny that MY BANK didn't reject that payment.

    I effing give up with this useless company.

    Edit: I just got off the phone with my Visa Royal Bank rep and she said THEY DID NOT reject the payment. She also said that this is happening on Zenimax's side. They are becoming more stringent with security and things like addresses not matching up exactly make a difference. For example if you write st instead of street when street is on your Visa bill it gets rejected.

    I double checked my info to make sure that it matched and still no go. Pretty sad state of operating business Zeni.

    I am very disappointed with how this is turning out... I was told that my problem was being sent to a billing specialist... that was 9 hours ago. I can only assume that means I wont here anything until mid day tomorrow...

    Customer service thinks our banks are rejecting the payment when my bank tells me that my bank didn't reject anything.

    It was Zenimax's commerce software that is doing the rejecting and NOT our banks.

    I have just tried to re subscribe and I received one e-mail advising everything went fine and you are now good to go.
    Then I received a second e-mail advising my card had been declined.
    I have checked and the money has come out.
    I checked my account and it states I have 0 days game time.
    I only put in just enough money to cover the cost once.

    Wish there'd be an official statement, Have same issue, bank has placed my money on hold until accepted, but zenimax aren't accepting it.

    Been in contact with Customer Service and was given 3 days game time, which will be going out today.
