    In germany an "test charging" is like an scam. max 1 cent and not minus. Plus. Free is free. Authorized? I beg Zenimax pardon: I autorize 1 Time and onyl 1 time for 1 payment. And they cant autorize their selfes.

    I don't know I guess I'm one of the few having very little to no problems with this game.

    Did you guys make sure the name on the card matches exactly with what you typed?
    Are you sure the cards didn't expire?
    Are you using 2nd instead of second for street address or vice versa?
    Did you cancel your sub after pre authorize went through?
    Things like Mr. And Mrs. On card it's irrelevant.
    William doe should not use bill doe etc...

    I just don't believe the whole ZOS system is at fault here this is kinda unheard of.

    I'm sorry to inform you of this, but your payment method has been rejected. You'll have to contact your bank for more information about why it happened. :(
    A small reason it may be rejected is that you need to have twice the amount of money in your account for the first subscription, kinda like dipping your toes into the water to test the temperature.. Then we'll refund the initial payment and then your subscription fee will hit your account.



    I'm pretty sure that's illegal.....can't charge twice and refund like that without notifying and okaying it with the customer, breach of contract and all that......man i love this game but ZOS is destined for bankruptcy...

    @felixgamingx1, my Visa rep told me that lately she's been seeing more and more of this.

    My info is exactly the same on my profile as my billing statement with Visa. I had the rep read everything out to me so that I could verify.

    She claims that e-commerce software publishers are becoming extremely security conscious and making things extra stringent. Believe in Zeni all you want. My bank says they aren't denying anything. Customer support says they are. Who do I believe? My bank of course.

    Well, start believing then because this is the same card I purchased the game with from them. Same card I use for all online purchases & other games. Plus none of your suggestions would have anything to do with those who have been double charged and overcharged?

    2 x card payments missing! i got 1 hour playtime on the first, 0 hours on the second... support said paypal would work... now missing another payment and have 0 game time left.

    Now support saying wait 5 days for refunds and act like I'm at fault here!!! Never had a problem buying a product before this!

    It's utterly ridiculous that they require twice the amount on your card. I totally understand authorization charges. But twice as much? Yes, you get the money back. But a lot of banks, like mine, hold those funds for over a week. I've never had a recurring or one-time charge on my card authorize that much. A few dollars at most.

    I have the same issue as everyone else.

    The card is the exact same card that was used for paying for the Digital Edition and for verifying the account when I set up my subscription. You can't tell me that they will accept the card one day and then not the next?

    And I have not changed anything else either - Sub plan, address or any thing. In fact I only ever log in to view my account details and then log out again.

    I have submitted a ticket and am waiting on a response.

    If you are going to be a beta tester of a company's billing system, go with the shortest period of time. It's just common sense.

    Otherwise use a time card.

    I allways use direct/giropay with tan at my handy. best option. safest paying. And it is realy online banking. Of course you need to make sure that you get an online banking account at your bank. Took me 30 minutes and 4 h of waiting at home :).

    I half tempted to link my bank account through paypal and try buying another month but in the end that doesn't excuse them for charging me 14.99 off my card, not giving me game time and ignoring my ticket. Then again I'm kind of scared too cause I;m afraid I'll just be charged again (or maybe even double charged like some folks) and still not receive time.

    We better get some free time for just the hassle of all of this.

    Okay, my boyfriend tried to pay for my monthly subscription. His card name will obviously have a different name on it than the name on my ESO account info.

    So why can't I change the cardholder name to his...? I had to change my actual ESO account info to his name for it to change the cardholder's name, since that's something I cannot change when entering payment info. Then when I went back to enter card info, it started saying there was an issue with my payment when I clicked the card type (ie Visa/Mastercard). Without ever entering the actual card info.

    Can't say I've ever seen that... Usually account info is totally separate from billing/payment info... Love the hassle.

    I selected a monthly subscription of 14.99 when I started a month ago and they took it out of my account right away so I was thinking they will give me the 30 day free subscription and then charge me around june but, they charged me another so I never did get a 30 day free subscription from them and I got the imperial edition. Since, I did not have the money on my card at the time today. They will not let me play and so I used another card and they took the money out of it but, still won't let me play.

    So why can't I change the cardholder name to his...? Then when I went back to enter card info, it started saying there was an issue with my payment when I clicked the card type (ie Visa/Mastercard). Without ever entering the actual card info.

    I do not have the money on that specific card at the time. There would be no money on that card until this coming Friday. So either I enter it now and have it deny my card and have downtime until Friday or use another card with the funds. Which should not be an issue. It's not an issue with every other site I've ever used....

    This is preferably then the time it will take Zen to rectify their issue (never)

    No It was a legit question - you are being defensive to people and suggesting multiple solutions and I was unsure if you are part of staff or just a man on a mission to defend the indefensible.

    I want to know the following - Should we try again
    Or
    Should we take the trouble of buying a game card.

    While I know this will be sorted eventually I just want to play when I have the time to.

    Getting subscription payment failed for some reason. Plenty on the card to cover 6 month sub. Same details as used to buy the game in the 1st place.

    Does now seem to have taken money off my card still no sub that i can see though :(
