There is nothing about doom and gloom. You came to defend someone's post where that someone was letting people know this should be expected because other games had problems as well. That is reason and logic? People and companies learn from the mistakes of others usually. Moreso, this is the game we care about, not a different one. You can't justify the quality of a product by relating it to the quality of another. Who cares if others are worse?

One, they will not explain the leak, any employees involved, plans for staffing, or policy
Ever since the ability to patch, many games have been launching earlier, so investors can get their ROI faster, and the company can be more funded for fixing things, thus can fix the FASTER! the reason the consle game will need to be more polished is not for the players, but for compliance for xbox and playstation. Microsoft and sony DEMAND a product that meets their expectations. I personally would prefer to play now, that than wait over 8 months, counting the last month and the month until the original console launch. So thats why us PC players Pay now for a less than perfected game. We understand how this works and we want this game to succeed, and I for one gladly will pay to help this game get going. Multiplayer games have by far the hardest bugs to fix and the hardest time implementing them. So thank you Zeni for getting this game to us, and the free 40 days
and remember, with great games, comes great responsibly

"...we'll need about six more months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve"
a) googling this part still brings up the ESO Store FAQ, so was this posted by ZOS, got the site hacked or did a now former employee slam the door on his way out?
If it is legit,
b) if it does take 6 months to offer the intended experience, why do we have to pay for a product that's obviously sub standard by your own measures?
c) are PC gamers not considered fans and / or undeserving of a polished product?
d) can I swap my PC version for a PS4 version as I very much would like to experience the game how expected and deserve
If it's not,
e) do you really believe handling this affair with a no-comments on rumors approach will help the situation?
f) if it was a former employee, is there a round of lay-offs happening?
Thank for your time!

All MMOs have this. The reason is because its is inevitable. The game is never complete or finished it is a MMO. Just as all humans have heads all MMOs have bugs. If you think somehow ESO would be any different you were deluding yourself. A game this massive with so many people and combinations etc there is no way to make it perfectly bug free. Maybe this is your first MMO but if you come back say a year from now it will be more polished.
Personally I have yet to see any bugs that stop me from progressing. in fact a lot of the bugs have work arounds or the bug was caused by the player doing something wrong.
Nice writeup - but ESO is a polished product by loose MMO standards.
However, I could see Microsoft or Sony saying its not good enough. Or even more likely there is a issue with testing/development one of the consoles and it getting pushed back for that reason. Or some other weird technical reason.

I can count to potato.

And I would have agreed with you, before the Imperial Edition got leaked. I ripped that thing a new one. Then after about a day of dithering, ZOS comes out and confirms it.
Honestly you should be happy. The game is in no state to be released on consoles atm.

Come on do you really think MS or Sony would reject it? Give me a break. Look at the crap out for the PS4 right now. Xbox ONE same thing.

Yes for one, I'm sure they are feeling uneasy about the reactions by all the pissed off noobs. so guess who is Liable if the console meet the same reaction,

I do not think I've asked @ZOS_JessicaFolsom any personal questions. I am sure I did not ask you any personal questions.
I know you probably mean well, but that's just the opposite of doing good and I must admit your post did come along a tad bit patronizing. Which I, personally, am not all too fond of.
The text passage clearly addressed PC players as second class gamers. No matter the reasons, we shouldn't need any other big corporation demanding a polished product for us, this big corporation should have delivered a polished product in the first place. That's a question of respect, which they only seem to pay Sony and MS, if your assumptions are correct. I am not glad with this.
I can see a great game, but that great responsibility part seems rather lacking, to be perfectly honest.
Fairydragon3 wrote: »The fact that we have to pay for a not so polished product 8 months early, is a price I would pay every day to see this game make it. Zenimax They at least gave you the opportunity to have 40 days free, but now it's our turn to take care of them, so this game is successful, and more fun for us.

Of course I would. I am on the fence of cancelling sub today because my free days run out today and all the bugs which bother me most are not fixed yet (not fixed in 1.1 according to patchnotes, too)Fairydragon3 wrote: »
Would you rather wait the 8 months then(counting 2 between early access and the original console release date), cuz Ill have like 3 VR12' (Craglorn, hoping is soon) and all my research done by then.
Remember there are multiple parts to any software - there is the stuff we see and the stuff that me don't see. Maybe the network code is not efficient enough and it causes issues on their infrastructure, which might explain why there MIGHT be a 6 month delay. Microsoft use to have a serious certification process; I don't think it still exists in its old rigorous form, but there still might some.jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »

To be honest the game in the current state is an impudence for buy and sub to play. They should remove sub fees until it truly leaves beta stage.

Honestly meant no offense, but that's information on company secrets and employee's lives. and by far we are not the underclassed one. We have a game, that is playable, * months before the consoles. do you know how much you can do in that time, despite bugs. I knew exactly where I should get my game so i could be sure to play on time. I kept up with information on the free month and how to subscribe, I look online and forums for bug fixes and work around, and most of all, I don't *** and moan when a quest is confirmed to bugged to progress and bother customer support about a very well known bug. I go find something else to do. although I like this game, I own it, not the other way around
