I am enjoying playing the game as it exists currently, so I will pay to continue to play the game; I'll worry about changes to the game if and when they happen.

I ended my subscription for one reason only, the location of the servers. This just killed it for me, I will resubscribe when the game has servers in europe, But this.... i think will not happen. :(

I've been playing since early release and am having a great time. I'm addicted to this game just as it is; the announced upcoming changes make me that much more interested. Yes, I will be subbing.

No. Too many missing small quality of life features (being able to sell goods to the public, issues with grouping/phasing, focus on solo questing, inventory management) on top of the bugs means I'm going to be waiting a while to sub. But I'm fine with that. ^__^ I'll wait until they have the bugs smoothed out and put in the Justice system content. Then it'll feel more like an Elder Scrolls MMO to me.

I'm subscribed, I can honestly say ESO had these mistakes only because it's their first time hitting an MMO market. There many factors they were not ready for as well as i think they didn't expect such a huge fan base from North America. However given their resources they are doing a very good job to cut down on slacks and i think within another month we'll have a fairly polished game. Asides from that i want to say, as they hit the MMO market the first time, their release was still a good one. Try to remember WoW and EQ when they first released, they had triple of bugs and etc. of what ESO had.

Absolutely, recurring plan set up nicely from day 1. Will only cancel when I get bored with the game. I really hope it will not go f2p.

3 months recurring is already set! And people saying "we will be back when it goes F2P", don`t forget that the game will also be out on consoles and since they don`t have that many MMOs, and this is a TES game after all no matter what some might say, I think they will sell their quite well and hopefully have enough subscribers across all these platforms to keep the game P2P.

Also, the future plans are very nice!

People who say "will be back when f2p" are just plain cheap and do not realise the value of this sort of entertainment.

    I will break it down:

"Will be back when f2p" means "will be back". MEans = I am generally happy to spend my time playing this game. Means = this game entertains me.

If you have a /played of, say 10 days (very conservative for most of us, but just say for argument's sake), thats 240 hours. You paid £50 for the game and assume nothing in subscription as it's only been a month old. That is 20p per hour of entertainment. That's one quarter of a baguette. That is one twentieth of a Pret sandwich. That is one half of one bacon slice. Half a button off a shirt from a high street shop. One hundredth of a low-market hair cut. Perspective?

Subscribed and happy with the game.
  • txfeinbergsub17_ESO
My wife and I are both subscribed at the 6 month level and happy with the game. Since we have full lives already, both of us only have one character and are only level 24 (that said, we have played 89 hours each according to the /played command), so we are definitely getting our values worth.

Subbed and ready to go. Looking forward to the future, as it looks very bright for this game. At $15 a month and less for long term subs, this game provides a value you just can't find with F2P games that nickel and dime you every opportunity they get.

I also predict that on May 9th, the overall quality of the player base will improve greatly.

    EDIT: Actually, May 10th ;-)

Gone are the drama queens, 'hear my personal reasons why I won't re-sub', and the long lists of all ZOS has to do to keep them happy for a miserable $15 a month. After the 10th, you are either playing the game or you are not, little room for tantrums and grand-standing with pompous displays why the game doesn't meet their lofty standards.

So much potential in ESO and first month after launch is surpassing my expectation that I got disappointed repeatedly in many other MMOs at launch. ESO is one of very few MMOs that makes me happy right at launch phase so I am subbing every 3 months at this time.

I've just changed my subscription plan from 30 days to 90 days. Hopefully it won't go free-to-play with the obligatory cash shop till then, as I'm out when/if it happens. :)

Good to hear its others that think the same, if it goes ftp, im out of here :)

People who already are over level 40 have missed most of the game by "grinding".

I did the same, but I disagree with your second statement. I read, I listen to npcs, and I do every single quest in a zone before moving on. I know others who do as well.

Some of us just have too much time on our hands :)

edit: also, some of what I would consider grinding... although not for levels.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "grinding".

Planned on playing this game for the next couple years. It has bugs but all games do and I am having fun with 1 main, 2 alts and 3 crafters. Did the 6 mos sub. Got 5 days free in my email today and don't know why. I do try to help on bug detail reporting and spammers, so I'll accept the gift. My bank account got deleted on the 2nd day of the 5 day early access and has yet to be returned but I'm patient and I have easily surpassed what was lost.

As long as they keep evolving new content for pvp, rp and crafters but not only for end-game consumer raiders, they have my support which the road ahead showed they care about all type of players not only group pve. I am having great fun so far and see no reason not to subscribe. If they decide to go f2p it will be the last day i play thou.

Not I. I haven't touched the game in about a week, and I don't miss it. The combat never really appealed to me, it felt disconnected and un-engaging, and by level 30 I was pretty bored. 10 levels later, not a lot had changed, so I just gave up. The story is forgettable, the crafting is fun, at first, but quickly a tedium, and every time I find myself glassy-eyed at the world around me I slam into an invisible wall and the feeling wanes.

I did, however, get in on another game with a sandbox appeal, and honestly I don't see myself playing anything else as nothing even comes close to the enjoyment I'm having so I might be biased at the moment. This IS all my opinion, of course.

I'll likely come back, somewhere down the road when it goes f2p, at least on the forums just so i can say 'told ya so'.

But til then, hope you all have fun!

I played the beta. Seems ZOS never blocked non-purchasers from accessing the forum, if that's how it works now.

I'll perhaps purchase the ESO 60 day subscrption game time code card online at the cheapest retailer folks!
