I do think they will lose a lot of the people they arbitrarily banned even though they gave the accounts back. They won't trust them not to do it again. What can I say, I can take a beating but I'm all the smarter for it, some won't put up with that kind of stuff or with community members who marked them guilty even though they weren't.

Already subscribed. I'm not an MMO connoisseur so I'm a bit lost on a lot of the pro-and-con arguments. I'm annoyed by the bugs and *very* annoyed with the Guild Store interface, but there's no denying that I have a lot of fun playing this game so far. When it stops being fun, I'll quit paying for it.

I think myself and everyone playing right now is technically already subscribed.

But I do not intend to cancel my subscription, as I am still having fun.

I am sure that everyone who plays ESO has had some sort of issue with the game. ZOS even stated that the launch didn't go as smooth as they expected. But during these past few weeks I have seen changes that tell me things are going to improve. I'm sticking around, with no plans to quit. I have faith in their development team.

Been taking it nice and slow, just enjoying everything I can rather than racing ahead so I can whine about there not being any content for me. I have also been a part of numerous MMORPG launches in the past 15+ years and ESO has been a very smooth experience for me. Staying subscribed for a long time, as are all of my guildies.

    Yes.
i am curious how did you know what the sales expectation for this game were and how do you know they were not fulfilled. Making statements like that requires you to provide a valid source.

If I pass the storyline quest from 40-50 before billing cycle, then yes. If not, there's 100% nothing I can do for character progression, and I will not make another character to lvl to V1 what I am now.

Sadly no, the time spent on things I hated doing(buying/selling/inventory management) crept up too high compared to the time spent doing the things I loved(playing the game). So I cancelled my sub this morning. I will be keeping an eye on things and if improvements are made, I'll be back in a heartbeat!

    Fingers crossed!

    Still on the fence.

I've put in at least 75+ hours in this game already, but I feel less and less excited to play each time I log in.

The game feels unfinished, unpolished, and just...very amateurish, if that's the word? I mean just things we take for granted like the guild store is so difficult to navigate, it isn't fluid. Same things go for your inventory. I know, someone may say "Well that's what addons are for!" No. If you 'need' an addon to make the game better (or playable), then Zen needs to hire those guys to fix their game.

It's like the staff from Windows 8 and the Obamacare website got together and designed the UI.

The majority of people I see complaining about the game is those that want it to be WoW.

If you got to level 50 in less than a week, then my guess is this won't be the game for you.

If you are the type of player like myself, who actually talks to the NPCs whether or not they have a little triangle over their head... then you will likely stick around.

My main concern are Zenimax's ability to run this game, from economic point of view as the sales are not as excpected and from a professional view, there's so many things wrong with the game that simply can't be explained other than incompetence with mmorpgs.

I'm not sure where to begin; in fact I'm not even sure why you would have concern about ZoS ability to "run" the game. Also, I'm not aware of any figures or statements suggesting the games sales have been off. Yes there have been issues post launch; they have been working on them and addressing them. Lastly, a question, how do you define "incompetence with mmorpgs"? I can only presume this is using other companies and their games as a point for comparison.

Also, I'm a 6 month subscriber; I don't regret it and intend to resubscribe when the time comes.

I get it from the UI enhancement requests to the instanced PVP requests. They're not unique to WOW, sure, but that's likely the source for these complaints.

I'm trying to sub. Got a game card and everything. It didn't work, sadly (invalid code), and I'm waiting on customer support to get back to me after they claimed to escalate it yesterday.

I want to support this game and watch it become what it could be. Even if it sometimes seems like an uphill journey littered with rocks and sharp drops.

See ya'll in game soon, I hope.

Yea I plan to keep subbing as long as there is content. I am pretty slow at leveling(play only 3 hours a night and skip some nights), and am only at level 30 with one alt at 13. I have played a ton of PvP as well though and find it all fun still. As long as that lasts I will sub, I have a friend I have been going through the game with as well and he plans to keep subbing as long as I do. There are no other MMO's out there I am interested in, nor any coming out soon so I imagine I will stick around at least a few month's. Like others have mentioned though if it went F2P I would be out as well, I am not a fan of it unless it's setup similar to LoTRO.

I'll sub for at least a month or two. I have complaints but I'm pretty sure I can enjoy the PvE portion of the game for 2-3 months. Right now I won't do my favorite part of the game PvP, because I just don't enjoy it with a low level character. I may try again once I get to 50+.

My biggest complaint so far has to be goldseller's spam and bots. The obvious teleporting bots just *** me off and make me want to log off the game. Even if they aren't directly affecting my gameplay, just knowing that many accounts are cheating completely kills my enjoyment.

If you get out of the low level zones you rarely see a gold spammer. nowhere is free of the bots however I see them in cold harbor and cyrodil as well as everywhere else.

but im going to keep my sub too. I like everyone else have some complaints. To me though I do see that zen 'IS' actually listening.. they are just horrrrible about communicating to their subscriber base about what they are doing and how they are listening. I think their interaction with the subscribers is the area in which they need the most improvement.

Far as the OP goes, would be nice if posting was limited to subscribers - then the question would answer itself in a week or so :P

    It isn't? That's kinda weird.

Anyway, a timely question, indeed. In all honesty, I bought the game because (a) I just love to play something new, (b) I find the setting and races more appealing than in most other MMO's I've tried. But I don't think TESO is such a smashing game design-wise (that'd be GW2, imho, even with all its other shortcomings). What with the AH debate, the weirdness of having to be in some mega-guild to buy and sell stuff, the clunky potion-lugging, and a bunch of other little annoyances, I dunno... I might stay on another month while the novelty lasts, but I wouldn't commit beyond that right now.

I was signed up for 90 day sub, but then last weekend happened. I had a beta key for Wild Star and the game won me over. It was so much fun I barely logged out all weekend.

I like ESO, don't get me wrong, but it became un-fun for most of my friends due to the grind after 50. The Veteran content seemed to miss the mark. The dungeons are fun, it is just the road to get there seemed to be an after thought.
Most of my friends quit at 50 after learning what the VR content was about. I made it to VR4 and was looking forward to VR10 within a few more weeks, but then like I said, Wild Star happened.

I cancelled my 90 day sub and used that money to purchase another game, which actually has mentoring, so when I out-level my friends I can mentor to their level and still hang out with them.

GL ESO, maybe I will be back in the future.
