    Name one gamebreaking bug, period.

Ok how about every time I zone or some times die, my passives, my buffs and skills bug out?

Every time I die in pvp I have to relog to get my class to work. That is game breaking to me.

That sounds like it isn't that widespread, and while it may require an occasional relog, it's not gamebreaking. Your game still works, and you can still play after the relog.

will decide in another week whether i want it to kick in.

I might, i mean, I gave SWTOR that courtesy, and i saw the writing on the wall there within a week.

but they really need to break away from this elder scrolls thing, and add some real MMO features to the game.

Meaning they should make it WoW with different graphics?

No. Many (if not most) of the players here came because this is the Elder Scrolls Online.

no, meaning the game needs to give people basic information about what's going on.

many if not most of the players came here expecting an online MMO to be the same experience as the single player game.

    pssst, it's not

Basic information? Do you mean floaty numbers? I love me some floaty numbers.

But in all seriousness, how do you not know what's going on? Are giant balls of fire not a big enough sign that you're being hit with fire?

i'm talking about debuffs, poison effects, curses, player names, etc.

basic info makes the game a WoW clone?

Player names? Don't need to see them.
Debuffs, etc.? I've been fine without seeing them. Maybe if you try playing the game as designed, you'll find that you don't miss the floaty numbers.

    Yes.
I was hooked the moment I actually got ingame from three betas before early release.
The only way I would stop playing(not subbing, but playing altogether) is if the game went F2P or they did some REALLY dickish move like putting player housing behind PvP content.
Speaking of locking things behind PvP content....still kinda irate about how guild stores are locked in a PvP zone.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Ok Here is a question. Would you rather play ES offline or online? Because if it's a MMO, they need to create stuffs so that we can get together. Not like subscribing for an MMO game and spend most of the time SOLO and it feels like other single player games (i.e. Skyrim)

For me it depends how the future content is designed. As I don't want to play hardcore anymore, I need accessible content.

I like the idea of public questing and dungeons or pvp, so I hope they will keep supporting it and that their focus isn't only on raid content like in so many other MMO´s these days.

I thought the idea was Cyrodiil, plus adventure zones (which as far as I can see are intended to be hardcore high-end player type endgame). Is there talk of raids and raid-linked tier gear?

It's designed to fully appeal to the WOW crowd. Unless they have technical issues it'll be a huge success.

That said, while I played in beta for it for 2 months and enjoyed it, this game blows it out of the water for my tastes. If people complain this game is a themepark, wait til they try that one.

Couple guys I play with talked about it as well so I went to look it over closer. I seen a few trailers and I will admit, if you like that type of game, it may be fun. It is just not for me. The game premise itself looks great. Great storyline and concept and I love the housing idea but I can't get past the graphics.

I am not bashing the game it looks good graphics wise (again if you like that type). For me, imho, it looks a little to cartoon network.

Before those jump in and start flaming me I am not saying it looks bad just saying I don't like the overly cartoony look. I loved AOC, lotro was not to horrible for the time, I tolerated tera, aion and rift. Wow…well I won't say what I think about wow's graphics. I played those games yes and each had an appeal to me outside of the grahics . This game (wildstar) I don’t think I could get into it just because of the style.

It is not a bad game from what I see it is just not a game I could get into.

For now will stay here (but I do wish they would not have scrapped the warhammer 40k mmo I was excited about it.)

    * sorry op went off topic lol ......Yes I am staying as I said before ....

will definitely continue to play. I've been waiting a long time for such a promising game. Now, I hope new content will mean more depth instead of just satisfying the rushers with only new areas and "higher gear". For me the end game content is "already here": the world is a perfect start. I just need more diversity, more character development options, more skills line, more craft options, more interaction with the world. Then I'll definitely make this vibrant world my home.

I don't think I've ever played an MMO that was so group unfriendly with respect to PvE. Grouping is completely pointless in this game. Quest objectives are accomplished by each player independent of each other, thus eliminating any form of cooperation except for killing mobs along the way. It plays like a single player game.

Instead of a persistent world, I think ESO should have been designed around a group instance framework, like the first Guild Wars.

I will un sub If the content they patch and add with updates is along the same line of what we have already been seeing.

This MMO is Best to Solo level and PVP is an uninformed, lacking Ui, Zergfest of max levels fighting low levels.

Oh yea every Bugged quest makes this feel like beta... Still.

how can i forget every crash in cyrodiil everyone 5 min or so.

So Yea I would recommend that alot of casual player Un Sub because what they are paying for now is not worth it, but possibly will be in the future as this game grows

    they fix the bugs yes

and will continue to sub as long as they keep adding new things (also don't understand the complaints about grouping the hubby and I grouped all the way to v10 no problem didn't really feel out of the ordinary)

love love love the game at its core and if zenimax grows and becomes better with there customer I have no problem keeping a sub.
  • Strigoimare
So far, yes. The game's engaging, we have some nice mechanics to play with, and I enjoyed crafting quite a bit.

I am peeved with all the botting, though. I expect a harsher stance on all those bits standing at the boss spawn in camps. My biggest issue so far.

    How do I know you're not vr10?

You said you group Leveled to vr10 without a single Problem with phasing? or bugs? or Quest rewards allowing one party member to finish quest and you to not.

Since you ran into none of these known issues.. I know you're not vr10 and if you are you didn't quest grouped up the whole way. If you did you would have noticed the above issues.

Lies do not help these problems get fixed.

No. Do not see a reason for it, did hit veteran level and the grind for veteran levels is too much for me.
Also the pvp was not satisfying in my eyes. I am going to waste my time on Tera for a while though I am bored from it as well. Maybe Wildstar will be my thing maybe something else. If I have to be fair I am getting bored of games way too fast. It is not like ESO was a bad game.
I enjoyed it and veteran dungeons were fun so I cannot tell you why I really did dislike the game.
Maybe the main reasons are the dungeon ques for the dps which were expected and I should have known better and the lack of arena pvp.
Maybe I am totally cursed to play dota and rage till the end of my life . Don't know still the game was kind of fun but I was expecting it to be much more like Darkfall not as much as WoW but as I sad before I got my moneys worth of it maybe I will see you again sometime.

I think your getting bored quickly with various MMOs could be due to the way you approach them. For example, you already being in VR seems to indicate that you either play a lot of time or, worse, that you play with an 'optimized' leveling style :ie you suck the fun out of the games by reducing them to a number game and grind, by removing those tidbits (lore, a view, a quest text) that make nicer what otherwise would be a drab and repetitive activity.

Though I get the part about DF, it was my impression, before NDA drop, that this was going to be a similar game

Actually, your health bar shows some status effects, like bleeding (arrows pointing inward) or regenerating/leeching (arrows pointing outward), poison is shown as a gas cloud around the character(unless that's disease...) and so on. Same on NPC body and health bar. The devs said a lot of times they want people to concentrate on what's going on, not staring at bars
