Restoring Missing Bank Slots/Items & Skill Points

    I got my compensation today after opening a new ticket through the website. I referenced my previous 2 tickets as well as the fact that replying to the previous ticket hadn't worked. I hope everyone else gets their tickets resolved soon. the manage my inventory minigame is really not fun.

    And yes, 50%+ of my last two weeks game time has been spent playing the inventory minigame. Not something I was hoping for when I paid $80 for this.

    Lost bank space upgrade, from 60-90 slots, cost is 11K gold. Lost gold in bank, around 25k gold. I was given some compensation earlier this week, 20k gold. I am still missing 16K gold which I hope the CS will get it resolved soon.

    Problem: Lost 1 skill point

    Was not awarded skill point as stated ingame when completed PVP tutorial quest 'Welcome to Cyrodiil' This problem happened since launch. Was informed that this matter was brought up to GODS of CS support heaven, and that was like 2 - 3 weeks ago, no update whatsoever. All I got was relog character, repair client if else all failed, contact CS.

    Yep, still nothing here. No email, no reply on TWO of these "official" forum threads regarding this (this one and the old one). Maybe I should just put in a ticket a day until someone finally decides it's a good idea to pay attention. I really don't want to open multiple tickets because I know that makes more work and it causes slower service for others. On the other hand I thoroughly believe in treating others with the same respect you're given. Even though it's been two or three weeks, I'll give it another 24 hours and then I'll make a new ticket.

    Well thanks for the tip, it finally worked. Not sure what happened to my previous tickets but at least they took care of my new one within an hour.

    Guys, send new tickets if you still haven't heard back from them. As stupid as it sounds, it seems like they're dealing with them in the "newest gets solved first" order.

    Well I have submitted about 6 tickets so far in game and on the website and still have had no resolution. It has been 2 weeks and every email I get says Status:Solved. Pah! They have done nothing to give me back my bank slots, items, or gold. This issue should have been number one priority. And even though they "say" the bank problem is fixed; there is no way I am buying any more slots till they give me back the original ones.

    My tickets were from two weeks ago and I got tired of waiting so this morning I replied again to one of them and told Support that my issue was not resolved. Just 2 minutes ago I got an in game mail that said something to the effect of "we are compensating you for your loss of items but you are currently online, we will remove you shortly."

    So I logged off and came here to update. Hopefully it will be resolved when I return to the game.

    So if your issue hasn't been resolved, don't create a new ticket, just reply to one of your old ones. 4-5 hours after I replied to the email mine its being fixed. Now Ive gotta go resubscribe to the game.

    My ticket is also two weeks old. haven't gotten anything yet. Mine wasn't as bad as some as I just lost 20 slots and 20 items ( my bank is always full ) would be nice to get something guess I will reply to my ticket email.

    I've been waiting more than three weeks, have heard nothing from customer service since the last generic reply (with incorrect information about refunds being given out in a future patch) over a week ago.

    Just submitted another ticket. Still haven't gotten my bank slots comped and it's been 2-3 weeks. Another guildmate got hit with the bank bug the first week of the game and hasn't gotten his stuff replaced either. I haven't even gotten a real CS person to even acknowledge my tickets.

    I was finally reimbursed yesterday. I lost 63k+ and was reimbursed roughly 44k. It is what it is at this point.

    If one uses any of the duplicate pre-order items (maps etc.), will they get banned for exploiting?

    I would want to see an official answer to this, as I don't want to get banned (as rumoured), and need to clear the maps from a storage alt I want to re-roll to a class I want to play. At the moment I can not as the actual packs containing the maps cannot be transfered, and the maps are marked as unique.

    You don't have to delete them, but you can if they're taking up space. We can confirm that you won't get banned if you don't delete them and use them instead.

    I don't know though why there were many bans, perhaps they had a check before the bug that banned people but they removed it in the patch that fixed the bank? Please do share your results if anyone has tried these things. I'm leaving mine in mail for now.

    Why are you relating the dupe bans with these items?

    I was an 'innocent', not in a guild with a bank and with three sets of these things still in my mailbox unopened.

    So I was banned (and the un-banned) for patently doing neither of those things, so I see no reason to link the extra pre-order/beta-gift items with being banned.

    The issue being asked and as was clearly answered was did ZOS consider the use of the extra 'copies' which is clearly NOT WAI would be considered exploited an 'unintended consequence', which of course is the epitomy of an exploit.

    Thank you both Tomster and KerinKor for the replies. I do agree that I would see using the items closer to exploit, that's why I asked for an official word as only ZOS can decide how they treat it.

    I tried searching, but never actually found the posts Tomster quoted, so thank you for that especially.

    For the future, might be a good thing to add this bit of information to the original post.

    After two weeks my issue has finally been resolved. When this all started for me I almost lost faith but having enough patience for the over-working CS's paid off.

    I'd like to thank the CS person who took my case as it made me feel he really cared and wanted to get my issue resolved as soon as possible. He even helped me with the bugged userid (couldn't receive private messages) and changed it at the same go.

    I'm happy with the customers service. I understand that they have thousands and thousands tickets to fix and it will take time to sort them.

    I got everything resolved today and they were exceedingly helpful and nice. Was very happy with how things were handled once they got to my ticket.

    I see. The reason I wrote that is that I read in another thread that the only thing people being banned had in common was that they had taken the items to their inventory. The reason they were banned was for item duping aqnd they claimed that they had not done any duping whatsoever.

    Knowing a bit of programming I know it would be easy to make a check when grabbing another treasure chest from the treasure maps if the same treasure had been accuired earlier.If yes -> autoban due to item duping. I assumed that was the case due to what I read other players claimed and assumed they had removed that check from the code. I might be totally wrong and the reason might have been something completely different.

    I've been waiting since the 13th of April. First ticket filed in game apparently never went anywhere (didn't get an automated response like I did for all the spam report tickets I made). So I opened up another ticket on the 18th, and replied to it sometime recently (before the week was that it warns about.)

    It took them two attempts for me. Unfortunately, after they said they could figure out the inventory we lost they decided it would be to much work unless we can tell them "rare" items missing. I did try that, they asked how many I had for which I did not have a reply since I did not think I had to do that much work outside of the game to actually play it. I ended up getting one lousy mat back. Not even worth my time. Sad they say one thing then do another. I really think they are just trying to figure out how to save their job long enough to find another.

    I did what was suggested and opened another online ticket referencing the old ones and just got compensated for the things I lost plus some. Replying to a previous email from them seemed to do the trick. they just put the gold onto one of my toons instead of through an email in game.

    They don't even bother to respond to emails anymore. I think i sent 3 last week before i canceled my sub. 1 from email which was bounced back by spamhause, then 1 in game and 1 through forums.
    I sent one earlier today because i heard they got the spam filter thing worked out. Still no reply from any of the 3 that should have gone through.

    Opened up a new ticket through the website and included my two old reference numbers. That was a few days ago and still nothing. /facedesking

    I enjoy the game but I will stand by my word and walk away from it if my problem isn't solved by the time my free subscription time ends.

    This is heading for three freaking weeks now! That's some seriously sad customer service.

    Patience people. Took 18 days to solve my ticket and in that time I kept playing and bought all the missing bank upgrades I had before anyway. The reimbursement was just a bonus at that point. Waiting was the worst part.
