From 1.0.7 patch notes posted this morning:No more bat-stacking!Vampire
- Fixed an issue with the ability Bat Swarm so it will no longer stack with itself. It will instead refresh if re-cast.
- Reduced the cost reduction per stage of vampire abilities.
- Reduced the movement speed bonus of the ability Mist Form.
Thats a good change but doesnt prevent perma-Bats

The ultimate issue is that a lot of people claimed that the issue with the Vamps is strictly because of the skills, and not the opposing users ability to learn to adapt and overcome those skills.
Unfortunately, as Zenimax has learned, users will ALWAYS take the lower road and demand skill nerfing instead of accepting the responsibility of learning how to adjust to overcome.

You're totally right! I should have learned to overcome someone being able to drop 5+ of the same DoT AoE Ultimate that stacked on top of each other for 1k damage a second. What was I thinking! I should have just stood back and used silverbolts! /eyeroll
The reason the skilline was so powerful is because it wasn't working as intended. Don't cry because you can't exploit the skill line anymore.

1. I acknowledged in the VERY FIRST line of my post (the one you quoted) that skills would get nerfed as the game ages. You seem to have skipped over that in your haste to spew forth your opinion regarding what you perceive to be an attack on your manhood because someone didn't agree with you.
2. Yes, you SHOULD learn to overcome/mitigate skills. It keeps those that do need to be nerfed from doing max damage while you stand there with your thumb up your butt crying. It is called strategy, learn it!
3. Your assumption that I game/exploit/cheat is part of the problem. Just because someone doesn't agree with your entire argument doesn't mean they are one of the ones who is participating in the game mechanic in a way that hurts your ego.
A lot of people have agreed that the skills needed tweaking/fixing/nerfing. What a lot of us are saying is that nerfing them wont be the end all, be all, fix that some of YOU seem to think it will be.
Learning how to play the game, including how to mitigate skills, plays an equal part of it.
There are SO many fails that the OP engaged in with this fight, that they immediately blamed it on the Vamp skills instead of learning to adapt and overcome the fight they were up against. And had it not been Vamps, because of their own failures in the fight, they still would have lost because of the mistakes they made and blaming their loss on "OMG teh skillz is leet and OP" wouldn't have changed the outcome, they still would have lost.
Hmmm weirdly so quiet here, where are all twilight kids shouting game was working as intended and we all shall L2P now?
No comments on 1.7 patch notes, dear vampsies ? Or all left already after seeing their exploit build nerfed?

Yes, I have played PvP. (Red team, maps all solid blue)
Yes, I got spanked, multiple times in PvP. (see above, I am on the red team, the maps were all solid blue, meaning I was on the losing team).
Yes, I have acknowledged that the issue with the skills needed to be fixed.
No, I didn't engage in the same behavior.
Please try reading some of the things I wrote before you jump in and attempt to fling insults based on your solid lack of information.
No only did I NOT benefit from the issues, I didn't engage in them either.
As with the other user, your attempt at claiming that I am a gamer/cheater/exploiter/benefitter of the issue is invalid and your attempt at claiming that I am only proves my point regarding the issue specifically raised in this thread.
Some people will blame anything they want just so that they can be a part of the "OMG leet skillz overpowered" hate band-wagon of the day.
So, is it all better now? I'm in the EU, so haven't been on the US server obviously.
(I know it's not, but I wanna laugh in your faces)

If you don't think that the reason a vamp could take 50 was because of broken skills then you sir are stupid.

If Bat stacking was the issue why not make the ulti unstackable?

They did.
